I created designated Snack Times bc my toddler was snacking constantly but then not eating meals. So now she can have snacks at 10am and 3pm. I have an alarm set on my phone with a unique sound (only for snack time, so that when other alarms go off she doesn't think it's snack time! Lol) and I give her a bunch of snacks at 1 time so she doesn't bother me every 3 minutes for another snack (Like she used to).

Hey Jordan! I don't think I ever left a comment here, but I want to thank you for your videos. These 2 last years have been very hard, I lost a baby and almost lost my husband, but now things are better slowly. I would love to see some new videos with summer morning & nighttime routine. My family is a lot like yours, expect we are waiting for God to bless us again, which I strongly believe he will. Oh and I love your recipes, I started making bread at home , waffles and prepare eggs in advance. It has made our mornings so much easier. Many hugs and wish you guys a great summer

The shrimp curry did look good, but it didn’t look like very much food for 2 adults and 5 kids (not counting the baby and Mac, although he could eat some, too). It was probably a 2 lb pkg and she used what looked like less than a pound for that many people? Maybe she cooked the shrimp in batches? Doesn’t seem likely if she was in a hurry to get dinner in the table.

@@evelynculpepper8257 weird, our chicken feed has only gone up $1 since February from $14.49 to $15.49 and that would last a single chicken at least 80 days. Typical meat chickens are butchered at 8 to 10 weeks old, so about 56 - 80 days old. Ours are layers so it's not the same feed, but meat bird feed is a similar cost at our local feed stores. So let's say around $15.49 to get a chicken to a butcher weight of 5 - 8lbs average? I don't think $17/lb for chicken is something we need to worry about.

I think the same .... Too much sugar in any shape, and that by cooking for little Kids. Sauces, added Brown sugar, corn, fruits Out of a can which have way more sugar than fresh (and fresh it has much fruit sugar either....)....

I like Jordan and she has some helpful tips but I don't understand why in the 2 years I have watched her cook, she has never made a big proper dinner with a beef or pork roast, turkey, or roasted chicken, veggies, baked potatoes, etc. Not even for Sunday dinner. Everything is old, frozen cutlets or ground meat or dated pasta with about to expire veggies literally thrown together in a pan and then drowned in melted cheese or cream sauce. Lots of calories and not super healthy. I have never seen her steam veggies or do any lean meat without drenching it in sauce. I enjoy seeing her energy and what a good mom she is, but the meals baffle me.

People are so snippy and a bunch of whiners - not long enough, not much tips, not productive enough…in the meantime not a single one has ever put original content out there for public consumption and just get railroaded for maybe one bad video. Maybe a little grace is warranted given how long she’s been doing this for FREE and while bringing up 8 kids?
