    Thank you for all the lovely tips! ♡
    There are so many different techniques, it's so nice to learn how other people prefer to do their stitches!

    Nice! I do the loop start & finish with hiding a tail, both in the back. I just learned the pin stitch from this video, I might have to try it! Thanks for sharing with us!

    Thanks for this video! I usually start my threads using loop method (which I love) and end by flipping piece over to hide threads underneath but now I think i'll try the other two methods you suggested as far as ending threads go.

      You are welcome. I use those two methods a lot to avoid flipping piece as well. Hope they help. 😊

    Thanks for sharing! I’ve avoided the pin stitch method for a long time but I’ve started a more detailed pattern recently and my back side is a mess :D I think I’ll give it a try now - I love how neat your stitches are! :)

    Your stitches are so neat. Please share on how you get them to look so neat 👀

    • @StitchingDreamer
      @StitchingDreamer  4 роки тому +2

      Actually I don't know. 😅 Because I don't do anything special to make them neat. I guess it's probably because: 1, The fabric is stiff. Or 2, I secure the fabric on frame really tight.

    I have always done the loop method but an experienced cross-stitcher showed me that the loop method has the thread's twist going in two different directions. Look under a magnifier. I was surprised. Apparently, the thread also knots more with the loop method. I do have some trouble with knotting but I have never noticed the direction of the threads being different until she pointed it out.

    I do my loop start on the back, one less stitch to do. But I see you are on a frame and can't easily turn it over. Nice idea!

    • @StitchingDreamer
      @StitchingDreamer  3 роки тому +1

      Yes. So my methods are for turning works over as less as possible. 😄

    I use use 2 or 3 strands of floss. Does the loop method work? It looked like you may have 2, but I wasn't sure. Is is possible to do a video with 2 or 3 strands (if it is possible). Thanks so much for this video. I'm newer to cross stitch so this is very helpful!

    I like videos as they show how to do very clearly. However ending threads is my confusion. Running through back is obvious but I not so sure about doing pin stitch to end? I seen some people end on front with a little tail they stich over later? Can you explain?

    • @StitchingDreamer
      @StitchingDreamer  3 роки тому

      Hi, Rhonda. Pin stitch is securest way for me. You'll insert the needle through the threads of Aida (between hole and hole). Bring needle to the front, and insert needle back through the threads of fabric. Repeat this 2 or 3 times. If you start threads with pin stitch, just do the same when you end threads.
      I'm afraid that my English couldn't explain it well. Here's a clear tutorial. Hope it helps you to better understand: ua-cam.com/video/AbaLFt1cqYc/v-deo.html
