Have faith in JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOR for HE SAVES ❗️
*What is the Gospel?*
The true gospel is the good news that God saves sinners. Man is by nature sinful and separated from God with no hope of remedying that situation. But God, by His power, provided the means of man’s redemption in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Savior, Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of GOD, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Romans 10:9
9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
JESUS CHRIST can come anytime!
Just Believe ❤️ Love you and GOD BLESS
I am a modern Maasai man, but very in touch with my culture and the old way of life. This is true for most of my contemporaries too. We do 9-5 jobs in the city, and on weekends we are on the plains in red shukas herding our livestock.

i am a Kenyan, from a tribe called Kikuyu. Kikuyus and Maasais have a long and shared history. they have intermarried and traded culture a lot. for example my maternal grandmother is from the maasai tribe. the maasai are misunderstood as very fearsome and dangerous people but this is false. they are very friendly and accommodative. they just want respect of their culture and heritage. Magical Kenya. Maasais have different clans the majority live in Kenya and some in Tanzania. Samburus are considered (by other tribes) as a clan of the Maasai tribe but there is some dispute among themselves. if you want to know more about these people. visit Kenya and/or Tanzania and get more info. Ciao
Thank you for sharing this information! I agree, the Maasai are very kind, welcoming people. I lived in Kenya for several years and visited them with my family. Great people 😊
History is great. If u trace origins, we are one. Africa is just unique. In Uganda K'jongs are so closely related to the Tesos. Why? During migrations, the old men/women were tired n remained behind. Young ones continued up to Teso. 'Akarimojong' means old men remained behind. Cheers Africa👍
The Karamajong of Uganda, the Turkana of Kenya and the Teso of Kenya and Uganda are also closely related they are called the Plain Nilotes and so are the Maasai and the Samburu.

Too late.they are becoming westernized
I agree 🕯️🕯️🕯️
It's sad that 99% of these lifestyles are gone today. Unfortunately a lot of footage like this is archival and many of these tribes in the past 10-20 years have given up their lifeways for ones which can coexist with industrial nations. For instance, many Malaysian hunter gatherer tribes collect and sell rattan to a Chinese market, and they get paid money and travel to markets to shop for groceries on the weekends. While at one time they were nomadic, they are now weekly consumers with a house, and they fill the house with possessions. They send their kids to boarding school (the type where they don't come home for months at a time) and It radically changed their culture. They don't make their own clothes and instead adorn themselves with material luxury that can be purchased, instead of relying on natural ways to beautify yourself. They buy western shoes, t-shirts and whatever they can find for sale in their local markets.
Based
This has to be the tribe that inspired avatar..The sounds, the warm feeling, the elaborate decorations, THE SACREDNESS OF THE HAIR....Amazing tradition
Good point and the himba tribe too
Nah its native american
@@jesin0005The director mentioned in the first Avatar it was Native as well as African tribes. And yes, specifically the Maasai he took a lot of his inspiration from for the African influences.
You can clearly even see it with the braided hair type that he chose and the big beaded necklaces that some of them wear in the movie. Even if you don’t watch a behind the scene it’s obvious for which looks were Native inspired and which were African inspired.
I don’t know why people get offended when people point out the African inspiration that even the director has mentioned.
Beautiful skin, beautiful teeth, beautiful hair, beautiful traditions, MY GOODNESS. Beauty everywhere!! 😩🙏🏾 Thank you for this informative coverage!!
as a Kanaka Maoli (Indigenous Hawaiian), it makes me so happy to learn about other Indigenous folks and the preservation of their traditions. It was cool seeing the little wedding clip too, how the bride and bridesmaids incorporated traditional wear with their dresses... stunning!! I have cuzzins on turtle island and there are some similarities their cultures share with hair and the beadwork. we are really all so similar, I wish more people would understand that.
That's a great perspective, we all do share something in common!
I'm Anigilohi clan (long hair clan) of the Eastern Cherokee, and I definitely saw similarities in this video! Most of the men in our sister clans shaved their hair when entering adulthood. my clan kept our hair long though (hence the name!) - we only cut our hair in times of mourning. I know many other tribes of the Americas share the tradition in using hair to symbolize life changes. And, of course, we share the tradition of men taking pride in decorating themselves to honor their accomplishments. I always felt kinda bad for men in a lot of cultures...you know, the one's that don't get to wear bright colorful things or braid their hair. To each their own, of course, but there's nothing unmasculine about looking awesome.
@@vatsilvsgi8606 Wow! It's so weird how some cultures look so much alike in my country women also used to shave their hair in times of mourning and when they give birth to a male child.
Hair is such an essential part of their life, its an emotion for them. Thank you for sharing :)
Exactly! Thank you Teja :)
It's like the genders are reversed which is really interesting. The men have long hair and beautiful and the women short but still beautiful. Men in western culture usually have short hair and don't wear makeup.

I visited the Masai in Kenya. I was really excited to meet them in person (finally). I was very disappointed to find out that they practice FGM. Sometimes we only talk about one side of a culture. I think a more balanced discussion needs to take place.
😰
I had to look up FGM. But f*ck dude! Why?!?
I think that culture changes should be encouraged, if not even forced, when there is no real reason for mutilating bodies. While circumcision can have it's benefits, fgm has 0 of them. No matter how much "culture" has to do with it, it shouldn't be practiced, praised or defended in any way. Medically we have progressed enough to know it isn't good for women - in fact, it's extremely damaging. Thank you for bringing it up
@@WildVee it’s not true that circumcision has benifits. If you aren’t a pig you can clean your uncircumcised penis. All of Europe manages to do it. We are talked into, told actually, lots of ridiculous stuff and we buy it up without any critical thought. But if these people want to keep their traditions I think it’s not our business to force anything on them. I wish all cultures (including white peoples) would be left to keep their traditions and cultures alive. The forcing of a uni culture will end up taking away what is unique and beautiful about each group all over the planet. Soon there will be no reason to travel the world, there will be nothing interesting or unique, it will all be the same.
I bet u don't care about the male one tho

Preserve Africa!!! Please Africa, this is a wake up call, sons and daughters of Africa, arise, preserve and keep, and pass on the barton, I love all African males and African females. God bless, preserve and multiply us till we fill the earth.
I agree, everyone should appreciate their cultures and hold them dear and pass on heritage. I feel like it binds us.

There is unemployment, poverty, starvation plus crime in Africa, as in other countries around the world. I wouldn't recommend anyone to keep multiplying to fill the earth, as its too full already, and not enough resources for so many sadly. 🙏
And the Chinese are cashing in everywhere, exploiting the lands and seas, because the corrupt govt's are too greedy to do business with them. There will be nothing left for the people eventually.

I wish modern life had a similar aspect of community and sharing. Seems like modern life is so focused on individuality and single families, not a large group of people sharing life’s duties and caring for one another outside of what modern life traditionally requires. Thank you for this insightful video!
What you're asking for is the traditional conservative religious family values that are shunned, shamed, bashed, and attacked in the US. People love to praise and protect it in other cultures, but in the US its the complete opposite.
The people in this video would lean right of center, but yall aint ready for that conversation.
@@xhelan131 The traditional conservative family values would not let me live the life I do now. If it meant believing in something with no science or proof, and have me lay down my rights as a woman-I'll leave it, thank you very much.
@@ae5704 I’m personally quite left-leaning (lesbian, Mexican and Asian, kinda have to be lol) but also Christian and live in the wilderness. I want to add Christian communities, within churches, are usually super tight-knit and support each other through anything anyone might be going through. Similarly, neighbors become best friends when there are few people around to befriend otherwise. It’s totally normal to walk over to your neighbor and be like “Hey, can you lend me your latter?” Without any notice.
Christian and rural people aren’t necessarily right-leaning, but they often are. I think tight knit communities are often associated with the right wing, but in reality we often have them out of a love for Christ, or just out of necessity.
The same idea can be found in other clubs, like sororities, parenting groups, and choirs. To join a tight-knit community like this one you just need something you are passionate about…and maybe to move out of the city. 😥 (Even city churches are not so close.)
Though I agree, the community in this video seems closer than anything I have ever been in. I’d love to have something like this in modern times.
@@Isa-tn7ex I agree with you there-i get jumpy when I hear "Traditional values" haha. I'm glad you've managed to find such a close community-I just wish society in general could be more supportive of one another even without a common uniting factor like religion.

Something else....traditional African villages are ruled by jealousy....over belongings, success (full crops, good calving seasons etc) etc etc etc. They have no problem with using sangomas / traditional witchdoctors in an attempt to ruin others.
Depression, alcoholism, rape and molestation is a bigger problem than what people are willing to admit... and suicide by hanging or eating poison(ous plants etc) are a relatively common occurrence among both sexes.

I think this is so beautiful! I am probably from this Tribe. I feel
It in my heart
If you’re African-American, then you’re most likely from west Africa and maybe parts of central Africa. That’s because slaves were taken from the western side which is closer to America. That’s why most African Americans who do DNA tests get countries like Nigeria so often!!. Kenya is allllll the way on the Far East side of Africa lol we weren’t taken as slaves so the likelihood of you being Maasai would be
VERY slim. But you should really do a test and found out where you’re from because it would still be interesting!
We as humans feel to our heart what we honestly like or admire. Feeling it doesn't count for anything factual. If you are in the US, you are West African. Embrace that, or embrace being American, but not East African. Slaves were not taken from the Gikuyu and Maa land, for they killed Arab slave traders on sight. Wikipedia will inform your ignorant self on that. Feelings and emotions are as baseless as shadows.
Gorgeous. I am on a one woman mission to bring back 'The Hair do' in 2023. Wouldn't it be amazing it next year all of the sudden loads of people took the time to make their head a public service, a cheer offensive of ornate sculptural, decorative hair? All labour-intensive works of art with all kinds of hidden scaffolding or other unique styling and decorative touches? All supermarket checkout chicks with huge hairdos like Dolly Parton mixed with a Hobbycraft Store or Maasai inspired hair mixed with Motown girl groups. Lord knows we need some cheer, beauty, unity and joy in this most wretched or eras. Thanks for uploading this documentary clip-- I found it inspiring (clearly ;D) and really educational and compelling.
This was so well done and a joy to watch. Thank you so much for sharing these incredible traditions with the world..so beautiful! our society would be better off if we implemented aspects of this culture...keep sharing!
Thank you so much!!
