    add a strong enough magnet (electromagnet if you prefer) and it can attach/detach to metal surfaces while it calculates next jump trajectory... modify the foot with rubber or similar to provide friction/stability toward energy transfer of the next jump. maybe use it to inspect inside shipping containers at customs, inspect freight delivery, etc.? 😎

    Now, take this and combine it with the gyro tech of the Cubli and you will have a robot capable of controlling itself mid air

      Kristoff sund it does if the door opens outwards. The context of "opens the door", in this situation, is referring too the possibility of this technology being used in ninja robots.
