Hand with KK, your preflop raise of 16 Out of Position is too small. At least 20 there. Post flop, don't talk about the flop "being weighted towards your opponent's range". That only applies when you raise and brick the flop completely. You have freaking Kings man. Act like it! Smash that flop for 40-45. Let's see if he's willing to call with bottom pair then. If he's a calling station, you can half pot bet the turn and fold to any raise, or just check back and give up. On that run out, what're you beating? 6-7 makes the straight. Flush beats you. 8-9 beats you. Even A4 and A2 gut shot draws beat you with the A on the river.
The AQ trips hand is interesting - the turn donk bet to me usually means they have a very strong hand but since you have the nuts I think its fine to check and peel river for him to maybe catch up to A10/AJ, I think he probably had A7 to donk. Really doubt it would be a flush draw to donk on a paired turn. Glad the 500 raise worked
Hand 1: You’re short handed. Unless you’re at a table where nobody can find the fold button, k5s from the LJ RFI is pure when your open is 5x. You can even mix k4s, k6s, k7s and k8s at a low frequency.
@@StudioForg I have yet to find a 1/3, 2/3 or 1/2 table where once I find an appropriate sized raise amount, the entire table calls that open. I only have about 500hrs playing in casinos though, so small sample.
Can I ask you a question regarding hand 1 - when you get to the river and its gone check all the way, what range are you giving villain? Maybe some 1 pair hands, maybe some weak Ax holdings? Lets take out flushes and straights for a moment, he doesn't have these as he hasn't put a penny in on 3 streets. How much would you have to bet to get him to fold that portion of his range? Then ask yourself why you didnt? Was it fear? Were you afraid? If so, of what? Was it looking foolish by betting such a large amount? Did you not think about it in the moment?
Hey man, congrats on the dub! Some thoughts: I think u might need some help from Aero preflop. Some of your decisions don’t seem all that correct. Kinda random and sometimes -EV I make a lot of money from raising pre or 3 betting pre, and c betting flop (if I miss) and taking it down. Let’s say u 3 bet the AK hand, you either A) win the pot outright or B) still out flop the guy who has a K, and the money will naturally get in anyways. Flatting lets in worse hands that can cooler you. (Boats / flushes) Overall, you are clearly getting better so keep grinding!
Funny enough, as I'm editing my vlogs (quite backlogged from real-time), I've made a number of -EV decisions where I got lucky and won the hand so it's good learning for me
On the the q10s hand, just because he showed up with some nonsense river two pair doesn’t mean you shouldn’t bluff that spot. 1 he’s likely folding without hitting two pair 2. If he has 86o he’s gonna have a bunch of bs that you can barrel off on the turn
That's a good point - he got the best possible river in this scenario but if I played this hand out 9 more times, I the river bet is most likely +EV. I could probably get away with betting less though to get off any weak hands

I am barely 3 minutes watching the video: "Play tight, play right and play in position".............. continues to raise K6s UTG and making 2 bad bluffs in a short time. (1 bluff against a calling station) 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I get some Rampage-vibes when i see you play. "Yeah, i shouldn't bluff here against a calling station but hey giving up is boring".

So I open K6 suited under the gun for $15 cause the session blows...'

Good comeback

Common Magikarp Poker W video, keep it up bro!
Thanks brotha!
I feel like you gotta 3bet AK and possibly wider range too depending on table dynamics
You said play right play tight in imposition and you’re very firsthand king 6 suited at a position and you try to bluff lol
Crazy to imagine some of the people playing in these games with how awkwardly some of these hands are played you won.
You see a lot of interesting things at the poker table... especially 1/3

playing 1/3 i feel it is likely a table where no one can find the fold button.

Tbh I wasn't really thinking much in the moment... but working on thinking through my hands more in the moment
I hope Aero is willing to turn your thought process around on AK. That hand was hard to watch, even though it worked out for you.
Also, AQ limp/call is not going to work out for you long run

What you mean when you say, "We basically look down at"? Are you some how hinting that the hand you have is not the real hand? :)
Haha good catch - I'm still getting used to voiceovers so it's good to know I'm adding random words in there 😅

Maaan the call with the AK made me cringe!! So much dead money….. you can’t let previous hands deter you from getting value in the present.
