America has spoken....
@@chrisberdis6228 yes, loud and clear on more tariffs they can’t afford
@@rickai9945just admit you would rather corporations line their pockets hiring cheap foreign labor than give Americans a fair wage
@@morganwartman8507asked yourself this, why would these greedy corporations like to make less profit?
@@rickai9945that’s not the question that needs asking because the answer is so obvious. It doesn’t matter if they like it 😂 Americans won’t pay for the product and they’ll be forced to shut down business or move manufacturing to America.
@@rickai9945 lol they will raise prices I know that, however trumps proposed tax breaks to companies making their products in America will minimize these price hikes and will still result in significantly more good paying American jobs, that’s a price I’m willing to pay even though I personally will likely not benefit from this as I work in finance and not manufacturing because I actually care about my fellow Americans
No matter what happens, the cost of anything will be passed to the consumer. At least tariffs will help bring manufacturing back to America
That doesn't help anybody. Demand for those manufactured products goes up as supply is limited to US only. Same thing happened with the washing machine tariff...
@ yes, and washing machines have gone down in price to pre tariff prices and are competitively produced in the US for world consumers …great example of how tariffs work
Some manufacturing will return. Some will leave. Some will choose to stay where they are and eat the tariffs, others will have no choice. Some will downsize in the US and move their exports overseas to avoid tariffs. Every company that moves operations because of these tariffs will charge you for the move, even if those operations move from China to some other nation that isn't the US. Even if it's from the US to another country. Every material used in manufacturing that is imported to the US will be more expensive. In the end, manufacturing isn't coming back to the US in the way people envision it, but they'll all pay more at checkout.
@@tripe2237 we still have plenty of resources left here in the US. you may be right manufacturing , but tariffs are the only hope in getting some back, and building a sustainable future…unless you got a better idea.
Nah, still cheaper to pay tariffs than set up shop in america
so we're going to be the only country using tariffs, because they're so toxic and bad policy? i can tell they don't even realize how dumb they sound. its actually funny.
Were like the only country who doesn't use tariffs.

Well, wont be buying anything from YETI or AutoZone...when those companies go under, ill bet those CEO's will wish they had made their sh!t in America. Maybe they can sell coolers to the Chinese.
Yes because the THREE companies are mentioned are the tiniest tip of the iceberg! Get a brain and FAFO!
Well ... back to buy USA made products only! They can sell much cheaper without the added tariff cost. #nolongeraconsumerofyourproduct
Thats not going to happen... damn I never realized just how dumb americans were until this comment. Those tarrifs are going to destroy our economy
That's not how it will work. Demand for those imported products will go up, causing USA made products to become more expensive. The same thing happened when the tariff on washing machines occurred. But now it will be on all products.
Good, this will equate to more jobs for Americans citizens domestically.
lol ok
This is so great! It’s like an environmental tax. The planet will thank Trump. Also other countries will match the tariffs- perfect🎉👩🌾

no they won't, they will raise prices for consumer..
You don’t understand how these work, clearly
@satulindell6995 You won't thank t-rump, because the companies will pass on those higher prices to the consumer, duh. No wonder he said, "I love the poorly educated".☝🏾🤭

You wanna bet? $100 says the economy closes lower at the end of Trump's term than it began.
If u set aside blaming what ever side and look at trends in the US and world economy leading up to the Great Depression, Black Friday, Dotcom Bust, Housing bust, etc. u will see that tariffs and trade wars hurt the US in general. Of course there were other factors in play but when actual companies flat out tell us they will pass on any tariffs to the consumer, that means prices will
go up. This is history that u can look up
Made in USA, anything else isn't worth having.
My bmw is far superior to anything American made
My 6 year old FORD has only been driven 4 months in the last 3 years I've owned it because it keeps breaking down. My 21 year old Toyota has never let me down.
Well…I guess then you’re right(if YOU WERE BORN HERE) along with every other cult member LMAO
You still can't even make cars ffs. EU and Japan and somewhat South Korea are the only places in this world that can actually make good cars. Let's not even talk about the fashion, clothes, food, cuisine, art, paintings, architecture. All of that and MUCH MORE is COMPLETELY UTTERLY superior in Europe.
With this comment I hope you only buy us made products yourself
