Court ideas should be better if they:
1. Reduce the cost of removing the heir and ruler by half
2. Have mtth events that make the heir and ruler get their stats increased the longer they are reigning.
And removes stab loss on Monarch death
I was literally doing Ming run and completely agree ming is fun tho that one river event that u cant prevent no matter what u do is kinda annoyance

One of the strongest things you can do in a Tributaries focused game is full annexing Ava so you can steal all their tribuatries for free

Upon calculating it, you got 15 more ducats in tax, and lost 10 ducats in state maintenance. I guess +5 benefits is nice but honestly I doubt it’s worth all the clicking it took to apply the edict lmao

Did they finaly fix that bugged modfier called "Tibetian horse monopoly" ? Its giving some flanking range for cavalry and its pretty op and should be permant as long as your vassal holds Lhasa, but for years it keeps dissapering 😢
The last time I played Ming it was before they fixed the crisis bug where the heir and rulers flags were swapped.

I havent gotten far into the video yet, but if you plan to continue remember to keep aan eye on the jurchen/manchu tribes. If manchu forms you lose 50 mandate. You can prevent Manchu from forming by taking Jilin and another province

When you get -Goverment reform progress event, simply increace your goverment capacity, so taht you govermen progress go to 0. You cannot go negative in Goverment progress, if you do not aim a specific reform
i know that bro, however i prefer not to increase it if i have more than 20 gov progress or whatever amount is needed for gov capacity increase, i think it's more important to speed up the next reform

Note: you can take some loans if needs be, you only start losing Mandate when you have 5 or more loans

Honestly Yuan China(not Yuan into Mongol empire, so would not stay as horde) appeal me more but that's a me thing and definitely would be more fun to play on my own rather than watching it haha.
All i could say you handle Ming well, more stable than what you usually play despite Ming disadvantage haha
i absolutely love the Yuan map color and haven't played it in ages, so will do that one in the near future too
thanks, i put extra effort into making it super stable, that many tributaries compensate well for the stab hits too

Unfortunately you can't get varanasi as Ming. It specifically states you need to be either syncratic or hindu to get it. Monuments that can obtained with harmonizing will specify if they can be used with "Harmonized religion". I only know this because I did a confucian Mughals run attempting to get benefits from almost all of the monuments with accepted culture and religion.
I'm pretty sure it also specifies is not mughals
@@jasonmain6398 Yup! You could swap from sunni to hindu when you formed the mughals to get it before, but now in the later update they changed it so if you ever had the mughal tag it doesn't work.
