Good nation to role play as full reformed and push all nations to reformed and get that one government reform to get points from forcing religion on other nations. Super fun and kinda OP lol. Love ya broski!
Lübeck is a good contender for only merc runs, they can trade company most of there eastern expansion (teuts, pol, lithunia, russia) territory, which allow them to spend there massive income into +5 forcelimit building in tentacle trade company deep into the steps and eastern europe. Normally my lübeck runs in 1490 around 100k merc army. At the same time, there "trade league" gives you around 60-80k extra "scary forcelimit", so that you can ignore AE. And when you get your 100k merc, you are so powerful, that you can get HRE electors in 2-3 years per alliance into a war ve the emperor to dismantel the HRE. And there best, you can finish, if you aim it, the 75 mercantilism mission, "queen of league" (free cassal out of your league members, and +6 dip slots) around 1510. Crazy good expansion, diplomatic nation, for a merc play
This run was so much fun to watch, I wanted to go with Switzerland but I think my self-esteem is pretty low after this video 🤣 Keep up with your great work 🤩
If you're worry about GC from developing than dev up in your province which host your capital. They got an insane discount to GC so there's no downside on developing it but i guess as Swiss you have to deal with mountain dev cost. Also damn are we playing Swiss or Prussia here? :v
When it says "gain 1 base tax in switzerland area" it chooses a province at random and gives you 1 base tax, you don't get 1 tax for each province in the area lol
Army professionalism. Scaling down from 50% to 0% (max effect at 0%), there are also bonuses for recruiting mercenaries: −15% Mercenary cost +15% Mercenary manpower
yup but it's just something that helps a tiny bit in the early game, later on you have so much money that the siege ability alone is much more useful from high professionalism i could've explained it a bit better though, so thanks for the comment
@@GolemEnt ye just saying in video you said. The more you have the better the bonus for mercenaries or something like that. Just correcting the mistake- the less professionalism you have the higher bonus for mercenaries.

devs obliterate that reform on current patch unfortunately and it gives devotion instead of mana

also i am both the account above and this one fyi. i just use this one when i want to be extra lol.
Bro, two days I watched Quarbit's only mercs run and I was left looking for more only mercs runs that were fun to watch.
You absolute legend

you’re the man bro!!
thanks buddy!
Thanks for the guide man!! Really appreciate it.
"This is possibly the worst Switzerland RNG" - immediately inherits 3 Leagues and has 41 year old 6/6/5 ruler with AE reduction trait in 1452 😂

Glad you liked it! You should still try it, don't worry about the pace:)

If you have influence ideas, you can unlock client states more than a century in-game early
right, i did briefly talk about it in the video
I have a idea for that campaign as the Swiss Republic to conquer all provinces in Europe.
This event can happen once you rent conditionerri to either England or France, it does not happen by itself during ,,100 years war"
I love Switzerland 🇨🇭. Especially its Europa expanded tree. It’s a brilliant nation.
You don’t need to tell me I’m a big Swiss fan. I even did Coptic hre with them while maxing out my fort defense
Fort defense goes crazy in this region. I didn't even think of the possibility of going coptic. That's awesome
@@GolemEnt I just looked it up had 200% fort defense so each siege tick took about 80 days

No, that's incorrect
(I'm delusional and i need them to specify it's random in the tooltip)
Don't force vassalise Savoy, take provinces and release and Savoy will like you (costs just a little bit ae like 2 extra or something)
Just failed my switzerlake run.. i got almost all of original burgundy and boom hre coalitioned me

How named this visual mod for map?
it's "Graphical map improvements"
Do one more episode :)
i'm thinking about it!

are you playing a mod on this video?
nope, regular game with all dlcs enabled
Does merc + influence ideas' client states help with the Switzerlake achievement? Or do you need to never have owned a coast as Switzerland?
you can own coasts before giving them away, so yes, you can use client states to lose overextension and continue expanding!
You need to currently not have a coast. Easiest way is to move into africa and give your coastal land to a vassal.
thx for asmr
