as an opera singer myself I have to say Robot Devil is wrong, we announce our feelings to the audience ALL THE TIME, shit half the run time of most well-known operas is each individual character spending 5+ minutes telling the audience exactly how they feel and what they are going to do about it

The joke of the machine ringing when it's finished it's for me the most unique, funny, and well written joke ever. I always laughed at how the professor says no with his head when fry thinks its ready
