  • Chevrolet (GM) is taking a bold step into the future with the debut of its Corvette E-Ray, the first-ever hybrid Corvette produced in its Bowling Green, Kentucky factory.
Among the E-Ray's most prominent features include front-wheel drive powered by an electric motor, in addition to the traditional V8 engine in the rear, and boasting over 650 horsepower capable of reaching 0-to-60 miles per hour in 2.5 seconds.
Priced around $105,000, the E-Ray aims to offer Corvette enthusiasts a thrilling hybrid option. Yahoo Finance Senior Reporter Pras Subramanian is along for the ride as he test-drives the E-Ray and breaks down its specs.

Continuous, regular ERay production starts Monday, January 8th. I've been waiting over a year for this, so it's very exciting! 💥
