This young and beautiful Korean guitarist is a genius of the classical guitar. After seeing and hearing her playing this piece (and many others) with great difficulty level, I am convinced that it is the best guitarist I ever heard (I have heard classical guitar for more than forty years).

She truly is in another level, not just from the difficulty of the pieces, but the expressiveness with which she plays, the near perfect dynamics and the insane capacity to make the whole timbric range of the guitar truly shine. As a young man I played guitar in the 60's, then the internet was not yet, but my father considered Andrés Segovia perhaps the greatest guitarist at that time. Then there was a 40-45 year dropout, and on my old knees I bought a guitar and started watching internet to learn. Since watching the performances of the greatest guitarists on the Internet, I have seen many excellent guitarists (Eliot Fisk, Ghiglia, Moran Wasser, John Feeley, John Williams, Redzic - sorry if I missed someone). Then I came across this Korean girl and I must say that she rightfully belongs among the greatest guitarists in the world. I don't like it when someone talks about the "best" guitarist, because there is no such thing - all of them belong to the elite - and maybe I don't even know everyone.
The only one able to make real music out of this incredibly difficult but wonderful piece. The composer would be proud that his piece was eventually interpreted as it should. She is by far the greatest guitarist around.

자신의 메인 악기를 고르는 안목...귀도 실력임. 그런면에서 박규희씨는 작은손의 핸디캡을 보완하기 위해 음량, 원달성 있는 악기를 선택했을 수도 있었지만 음색을 택하는 탁월한 선택을 했음...안나비도비치, 무라지가오리 등...좀 안타까운 면이. 음색이 너무 가볍거나 응집없는 그 벙벙한 소리 등...그 출중한 실력을 악기가 못받쳐주니 라이브연주에서 감흥이 반감됨....반면 다니엘 프리드리히를 받은건 저분 기타 인생에 있어 정말 행운이자 운명인듯.

But for me, this one is by far the best one in the terms of musicality and interpretation. Unfortunately, the very bad quality of the audio/video recording of this stunning performance cannot completely highlight the amazing talent of Ms Park. She is clearly a world-class classical guitarist, and consequently she deserves the best in video production. I really hope Ms Park will record this piece again in a near future with some high quality audio/video equipments involved. 🙏🙏🙏
When hearing this composition played, I rarely hear music and just a technical performance, and of course it is a technical high-stand but this young lady makes real music of it!

there is nothing bad in small hands I play the guitar but I have so massive hands that I had to invent new finger positions for some notes
