I found some 14mm plastic sticky disks that fit over the magnet side . If you want to hide the mic inside a collar or something and have the magnet on the outside . They are for covering screws on furniture etc , for carpenters , found by accident in a hard ware shop , perfect for these mics , easy to take off too.
This works really well with my RC2 controller for my drone when I do voice-over, in real-time, of screen recordings with the drone in flight. Excellent, good value too for the combo pack.
I think it would be useful to have these along with the DJI Mic 1s. The DJI mainly cause sometimes it's still useful to have a standalone mic that records internally. There are times I had a wireless mic recording and I wished I had the audio from the camera recorded as well. If they were able to make a mic this size with internal recording as well, that would be game over.
Hey Mate, thank you for the info you provided. Really appreciate all the efforts. Came across your channel for the review of Lark 2. Finally decided to buy it to start my UA-cam journey. Thanks again. Love from India.
Your review gives more detail and considers more real-world issues that may come up. Very useful and realistic to what creators need to know. Thank you!
Hello! Great video! Thank you! How does stereo mode work on a camera? Is one microphone recorded on the L channel and the other microphone recorded on the R channel?
Thanks man. I don't have an iPhone 15 (or any other phone with USB-C) so what I did is I tried with my iPad Air 2022 and yes, you can do it and it works! ;) cheers
Great detailed review there! Question though. What if I'm shooting in multi-angles, and I attached, let's say 2 receivers, one in each camera. Would it still record the same sound quality? I hope you got my question.
Hello 👋🏼 Thanks for the message. There is only 1 receiver and 2 transmitters. That means you can have 2 people with a mic but only one camera receiving the audio. That said, you connect one camera with the audio (receiver) and in post you just sync the same audio on both cameras and off you go 😊 Hope that helps cheers
It caught my attention when you said that you've already user M1 for a year. I'm considering between M2 vs Saramonic Blink 500 B2 Plus. I really like the sound produced by M2 but there is no built in clip and its tiny size makes me think its fragile. Do you habe any minus when you use M1 or M2? Do you think M2 is worthier than Blink 500 B2 plus? Thanks
Hello! Funny enough I own the Saramonic 500b2 pro as well but never used them (still in the package - didn’t have time to review them). There are clips on the M2 as well and I use them all the time now as my main on-the-ho mics. They are fabulous and honestly the form factor makes it better over any other mic currently for me. Take care!
Thanks. They record the audio together with the video (no separate track). You can set them to either mono or stereo and use one for left and one for right. Take care
One interesting question about M2, can you use simultaneously one mic with camera receiver and one mic with the phone receiver, well, in different locations away from each other... Or what happens if you connect both the camera receiver and the phone receiver in the same location? Nobody tested that, and it would be interesting to know... Thank you.
Thanks and no, didn't try that indeed! The primary reason is that I dont need to have 2 devices recording at the same time in different locations (do you know a case when you would?) and if so (lets say 2 people work together and recording in separate places at the same time) I'd get a one mic kit with the iPhone plug and one mic kit with the camera receiver, that way you have 2 kits that can be used at the same time in different locations. - as for the camera AND the phone connector in the same location, no you can't I tried. It's either or, in fact the audio went on the camera receiver and prioritized that over the phone receiver. Take care
I didn’t try that! But why would you want to do that? Meaning, if your phone is away, how do you hear the person? Speaker? On that case you can talk and they will hear you no? I can do the test but not sure how 🫣
Thanks for your review ! But I have some questions, if you lose transmission does this mic have an intern saving or no ? What about a case with an interview of 2 people does it worth it or no ?
Hello there, thanks for your message. I didn’t try but I’d say you need a converted to be able to do that. That said, this really is a run and gun type of mic and I think there are other options that would be better for XLR or 6.35 jack inputs
@@cris_photography you are the most responsive youtuber I have seen in this year, subscribed happily! Btw, how serious you are about UA-cam? Do you plan to grow it further? Just asking to know .

Does anyone know if I can record split mono (as a stereo file) using the USB-C phone receiver (android)? For example into an audio recording app like the 'motiv' or similar. I cant seem to find anyone testing this and its kind of a deal breaker. Thanks! EDIT: The manual says "The mobile version only supports mono mode." Which is the unfortunate deal breaker I was dreading. WHY!?
@@cris_photography Actually, what about sending to a phone from the usb-c port on the 'camera version' module? Would that work? Or is it a function reserved solely for the TRS output?
Have you tried to wear the necklace under the clothes? I see noone reporting on the sound, and I guess it is actually the best way to have the microphone out of sight

@@cris_photography Thanks for your quick response. Do you think the magnet in Lark M2 might disappear?
@denniseazura9488 what you mean desapear?
@@cris_photography Do you think the magnet might lose the magnetism? I think we should attach them all with magnet. There's no built in clip.
@denniseazura9488 oh that! No it won’t, pretty confident. There is a clip that is attached magnetically and it works great 😊
hi i am interested to know how the sounds from two mic are recorded, are they in separated files or 1 file with left & right audio channel?

All the options that have that are at least 100 dollars more.
I purchased it with my Android phone.. Didnt even read it was for camera 😮 can I but another attachment for Ph?
If not included you can absolutely buy a little attachment they sell for iPhone or android 👍🏼😊
@cris_photography thank you just trying to track one down In Australia.👍
Would hey bluetooth to a Go Pro 13 whilst riding a motorbike ?
You could (with the jack 3.5 adapter tho - cannot connect it Bluetooth directly to a GoPro)
Great content.

I heard the Hollyland m2 gives HIFI quality recording sound. Is this true? Does it give a much better sound than the microphone of your telephone?
It does sound much better than a phone, yes. Not sure about HiFi though, need to check 🤔
@@cris_photography thanks Cris!
After recording 2 mics, can I separate 2 audios?
You can record mono or stereo, but you won’t have separate tracks afterwards though
I don’t know what to do, lark m2 or rode wireless 2
😅
Are you going to use it exclusively with a phone or with a camera too?
