I wouldn't have been able to resist digging all those pennies 😂
My son found a trove of early 1900’s British coins and tokens in the ashtray of a truck i bought. It also included the same sterling rifle pin you found in this video
Awesome!
12:45 hey John this is a US Army Expert Infantry badge. If it’s sterling than it’s definitely vintage plus it’s missing the blue enamel around the rifle so it’s probably been in the ground for many years! Great Find👍
Came here to say this. The combat infantryman badge has a wreath around it.
I'd be thrilled with that silver quarter! Wheat pennies are always a good score too! Thanks for the effort you put into making these videos! We all wait for Wednesday to see the next adventure
You're welcome, thanks for watching them!
I dug 49 wheat cents in one hole before. Dug them out one at a time took about 20 minutes. I also dug about 30 wheats in a 4x4 area at a baseball field also took about 30 min I swore I would find a silver among them but just wheats. Happy Hunting!
All those zinc pennies sure did made a nice tune! Could almost jam out to that! lol
I'm typically a solo detectorist - it's peaceful to me. But, I always enjoy going out with the fellow detector guys - it's bonding and entertaining :) Happy hunting to you and the gang!
“That’s it!” That’s enough for a day! Well done!
Hello John,mike and Gary
6:58 you and the trees were dancing together
Looked like it :)
Love that pin, very cool. Really like y'alls channel
"Telling myself good job" 😂 That's a great location, love the infantry pin! 👍🙋♀️🙋
😂
That’s a great day. I use the nox800 too and love that you show numbers, fun to guess what the target is. Keep the vids comin’
Good job John
Wow John this hunt was cool with the silver quarter and the other ones and that WWll sterling silver pin .
Thanks for the video John , awesome finds stay safe and lots of love from West Virginia ❤️🙂
Thanks!
You had a very good hunt. I love the silver pin.
Thanks Mike!
Enjoyed watching!
Awesome finds today 😊
Really enjoyed your solo video. Quite the haul for 3 hours!
Expert Infantryman Badge. Combat has a wreath around it. It's probably off a dress uniform being that it's smaller and sterling
Nice work out there! Love that infantry pin!
Another Awesome hunt John, you an your boys are Killing it.. Always on board brother, Props again from New Jersey..🤙..
You can take a test and get an expert infantryman badge. You have to be engaged in ground combat as an infantryman to earn a Combat Infantryman Badge. Everyone else in the army gets the combat action badge (if engaged in ground combat) Anyway, love the E.I.B!
Ground still wet easy digging. Couple pieces of silver & that cannon charm could be a Monopoly charm.
Always enjoy watching and that silver pin was nice along with the silver quarter. Looked like a nice place on a beautiful day, thanks John 👍
Thanks 👍
Nice hunt
Good finds
Cool hunt thanks for sharing!!!!!
Sounds like there might have been a penny toss game in that area. Used to toss coins to win a goldfish.1960's.
Very good day 👍
Nice hunt and finds Congrats 👊
Hello, John. I hope you're doing well. I will be back in seven more months.
Hey Gary! Thanks for dropping by and see you then!
The nox is still the best machine Ever 😊
John, that sterling silver WWII Combat Infantryman's Badge would have originally been superimpised on top of a wide oval wreath of overlapping oak leaves that formed a 7/8's oval with the opening of the wreath facing up.
In the United States Army, the Combat Infantryman's Badge takes a back seat in importance only to the Medal of Honor, the Distinguished Service Cross, the Silver Star, and some might include the Bronze Star Awards. It means that you have seen extended combat duty, not necessarily direct close combat.
The military rumor mill separates the true warriors with direct combat experience fighting the enemy at close quarters, from those who have distinguished themselves to a lesser degree by fighting from a distance, such as artillerymen.
The CIB is a true badge of honor that signifies that one has been there, done that, and in all likelihood has a drawer full of t-shirts to show for their service. Service that they usually never talk about.

It's Expert Infantry Badge, not CIB
You're right. I do like wheats.
Always!
Hey John I have always hunted with my horseshoe button on because there is a lot of iron on the farm I hunt. Problem is I feel my Nox 7 and 900 false and trick me into digging iron items that ring up in the 40s or 50s. Do you recommend leaving that off? Any help would be appreciated!
How do you find old carnival sites?
We had no clue, several locals told us after the fact. Thanks for watching!
