      Stef Murray is a BMF. I'm glad that he treated it like a light sparring session. He hit you enough to make it painful, but not enough to do permanent damage. He also hit you in strategic spots to avoid knocking you out or breaking your bones. Classy dude.

    Respect. I feel like what really separates a fighter and a trainee is the fact that fighters are not scared of damaging themselves in order to damage the opponent. A big example is the leg kicks, trainees will usually pull back on the power to try and get less recoil but as people have seen in the UFC, fighters will fully commit on power even though it can break their own leg.

    I did a program where I trained from no experience and then got to try an amateur MMA fight, watching this brought back all the feelings that I had when I was in there, I know exactly what he was feeling, getting hit is actually stunning.
    It truly is insane what the body does in a situation like this, the adrenaline is something else.
    Big respect to Dara for getting in there. Goodjob

      Fight could've ended at any point in time that Steph chose to end it. It was like watching a a grown man fight with a child (no offense). A pro fighter trains most of their lives. He was basically playing with this guy the entire time. Nice video though. Great work nonetheless.

    Love this. All of it! What sportsmanship! Honestly it reminded me of watching a good father wrestle his son. No malice from the “father aspect. The pro was exactly that. A professional to the letter! What an absolute gentleman. Knowing the apprentices skill set and playing directly to that! From the second it started to the millisecond it ended! Maybe it’s the devil’s lettuce? But man, what a text book lecture! Proper skills! It’s refreshing to see that. Respectfully. Thank you!

    Well done Dara, you look to have more than 30 days experience. To the point where I speculate wether you've casually trained in the past or prior to upping your training for the challenge. Looks like you went pretty hard although he might have been holding back a bit from what I can tell, or at least selecting his shots to cary you a bit... like he practically had you in a triangle choke near the end and then opted to stand up instead... but either way, you held your own for the most part and looked pretty decent, incredibly decent for 30 days... good stuff :)

    • @DaraTah
      @DaraTah  3 роки тому +4

      100% -he was looking for a much more stylish ending haha. like that spinning backfist was beautiful - it's not most opponents he would be trying that on! I'm really glad it wasn't the triangle choke that he decided to end it on

      @@DaraTah haha, if you come to Denmark I’m down for an MMA fight with you (with no elbows and ground and pound to the body only)… maybe like an exhibition where it’s harder and more competitive than sparring, but we’re not trying to destroy each other. UA-camr vs UA-camr, “fighting a Kung Fu black belt”, there could be a couple of interesting angles :p awesome to see how your channel has grown since I first subbed, are you also experiencing a lot of subscribers unsubbing or getting deleted by the algorithm? I was hoping to reach 35k subs this year, but looks like 30k is proving difficult enough :p
