    The internal ND filter was originally put into the camera to be able to shoot wide open photos in bright sunlight with the leaf shutter. In case you aren't aware anything over 1/1000 shot with the leaf shutter at F2 causes strange looking bokeh due to the fact the leaf shutter is not fast enough. Anything stronger than 4 stops would be too much for this use.

      the amount of people making videos about this camera, talking about the ND filter and not knowing why it's even there is surprisingly a lot. I have maybe seen one youtuber actually mention that fact, some of them even include shots they have taken with the obviously strange looking bokeh.

    I had to stop watching after 3 minutes, when you said that AF in X100VI is better than Canon R5. Had to replay it a couple of times to check I didn’t misunderstood 😂 Dude, X100VI is a great camera, make no mistake, but maybe a reality check could be in place now? Canon Dual Pixel CMOS AF II with 5940 AF points and total coverage is superior to X100VI AF and that is not even a competition 😂

    I went online looking for it last week and randomly found 1. I was searching for a week and managed to luckily snag the black one, didn't even bother pre-order. My advice is constatntly check online for stock.

    hey Joey! which lanyard is that? do you feel comfortable with such a tiny wrist ~strap?

    • @joeypusateri_
      @joeypusateri_  2 місяці тому +1

      the strap is an old canon one, i personally like it more because its not a full strap but give your the comfort of having an extra level of support

    dude... I wish I had some extra cash or one fr. Looks so fun! I bought a ton of cheap digicams instead for a few hundred to stave off my x100-hunger

    Now, Fujifilm India has revealed the price of x100vi in India and too high.
    On paper it say's 1600 US dollars - And that does not translate to ~1.35 Lakhs but 1.8 Lakhs (i.e; ~45K more) .
    With this pricing, seriously, it does not make any sense at all. X100v initially was just 1.2 Lakhs . X100vi's 33% hike in pricing is just odd.
    I'm very much decided now, not to go for it. I rather will increase budget a little and get some compact full frame - That's a wise decision.

      yah i think you can get a lot better of a camera for a similar price range that can be used in many different situations

    I chanced to walk into super good camera shop out in the wilds of Scotland two days prior to the V1 coming out. They saw I was carrying an x100v and mentioned the V1 was being released in two days time. I immediately asked if they wanted a deposit. Next day they phoned looking for the balance. I got it in the post on the day of release. Lucky or what! Thing about the x100 is it's really complicated. Anyone wanting an easy time will suffer. It's taken me a few years to learn how to use these cameras. I really don't understand why the things so popular. I think people must be running it in auto all the time Just saying.

      @@joeypusateri_ I actually gave my old x100v to a friend who's a decent photographer. He's never used a fuji before and its stumped him. Maybe you need to pay so you put in the effort to learn all the fuji stuff, make it work. Almost feels like it's a puzzle that becomes addictive. Certainly I learned a heap more about photography using the V1 compared to my Canons.
