Allana, just a tip. Been noticing you often spray overtop of your skincare, like u did with the mask in this video. The mask is so thick that that spray can’t penetrate and just lays on top. For a better result spray before putting heavy creams or even serum on top. It moistens the skin so it better absorbs the serum/cream/mask and the thicker product overtop locks in that moisture. Always start with a light liquid (spray, serum) and gradually build based on the thickness of the product 😊

Another tip: try the round brush for the front bits and also go over your tighter curls with the round brush.
It does make everything blend more nicely.

Oh by the way, I’d encourage you and any one else to please apply serums FIRST and then follow with moisturizer. Skincare should be applied from thinnest to thickest so it actually is able to penetrate and benefit your skin, instead of being blocked by say a heavy moisturizer. Also applying a few drops of hair oil prior and after blow drying/heating will help with the glow and health. Hope that helps!

For the hair loss or, general feeling of gross-ness in your hair AND the dry skin and KP... I HIGHLY recommend getting a water filter for your shower! They're about $40 and you can very easily install them yourself behind your shower head. I have super hard water where I live and I noticed my hair feeling a little gross still after washing it and my skin just feeling so dry despite exfoliating and moisturizing. The water filter has helped so dramatically with all of these problems! I had one a few years ago at my apartment and just have been forgetting to install at my new house, but it's so worth it!

allana, thank you so much for sharing this glow up video!! i have been following you for many years now and though i can’t always afford some of your recs, i am almost always inspired to try out similar products. that being said however, i def made a necessaire order just now and am excited to try the body exfoliator and deodorant gel in eucalyptus!! can’t wait to up my showertime routine!
I always love your little glow up vids! Whenever I do an air wrap or even a curling iron styling session. I then take my Dyson hair dryer and quickly on the lowest session blast it to loosen and mess up the curls. Then I take the flat iron and straighten just the ends of the loosened curls. It gives you those beachy curls/waves/lived in hair. And less Victoria’s Secret curl vibes. Then do texture spray and etc. Maybe try that and see if it helps!

Agree with spraying before serums and creams, world of difference!! And for the dandruff or product built-up, have you tried the ACV by dp hue?? Or even head amd shoulders has one and it is A GAME changer!! Just 2 times a month maybe just once, but it is suuuper effective!

Hi- I have the old air wrap as well. I also live in Canada so I ordered just the 40mm curler attachment that goes in both directions! You don't have to buy a whole new air wrap, the parts are interchangeable. 🎉 Definitely worth it! You're welcome😁

With the airwrap do the ends holding the barrel upside down. That changes the shape in the front to more of a flat curl.
I think you can buy just the attachments for the air wrap if you wanted to try the new attachments!
I agree 100% with your conclusion about the air wrap! My hair ends up looking exactly like yours did when I use it. That’s great if you have a wind machine and a camera in front of you but not so much for casual dinner out 😂. I wish I knew how to blow dry my hair like my hairdresser does! If you figure it out please let us know 🙏

i use my tretinioin to spot treat acne specially period acne, and it usually doesnt leave dark spots unlike other spot treatments i used before

I switch attachments for the front of my hair so its less curly, i either use the amoothing brush or the round brush with juat a little flick of thw hand for a more natural bend
You can buy just the new attachments on their own. I sold all of my old Airwrap attachments for the new ones and they are so much better.

My spring glow up yesterday was….hilarious. I did all the good things, but then got to my fake tan….. I knew I was low but didn’t know just how low. I did one leg. Great. Went to do the other leg…. It was the bottom of the bottle. “Ooooooh no.” So my bottom half is tanned… sort of. One leg looks great, the other is a bit iffy. But my top half is pale. Good thing I’m not going anywhere for the next three days…..
I know this will sound insane. I absolutely love makeup. I love watching makeup videos and doing all the things. I’ve spent so much money on makeup, but I am just not motivated to use new products. Literally have 4 products in my everyday makeup bag. FOUR PRODUCTS! I don’t know what’s happening to me but I am just embracing my natural skin and not using much makeup. Hi Allana, I just wondering why you choose Phloretin CF over the C E Ferulic from SkinCeuticals? The C E Ferulic is supposedly best for dry and normal skin because it has vitamin E which replenishes lipids. The Phloretin CF is better for oily skin (which I don't think you have). The Phloretin CF doesn't have the vitamin E which may be too rich for oily skin. I don't want to think I'm telling you to switch. I just got the info from the website and was curious if you had reasons why you chose one over the other. Thanks!

I’ve been wearing terry athletic wristbands while I wash my face FOR YEARS. TikTok is late to the game on this one!
Using a retinol that is destroying your skin barrier isn’t the only way to use retinol! Try the Retinaldehyde from osmosis or Avene. You will get a better result without the irritation. Also if you want a richer vitamin c, CE ferulic is the way to go.
Need to wash the hair more often to combat dandruff.
