For those that like using the single blade/derma plane type razors, but have issues with breaking out or it being too harsh for your skin: I, too, have been there. Until I found Dr. Alexis Stephens video on Oil Planing. Instead of shaving dry skin, you apply oil to cleansed, dry skin and then shave. I was previously shaving with a mane’s razor, like Lan, but since switching to oil planing, I’ve been enjoying that, and it doesn’t cause my skin to freak out. I’d recommend watching her video and see if you think it’s right for you. ☺️

Glow ups are so important, always give me a confidence boost. For me a face mask, hair mask & doing my nails is part of my regular routine when I need that boost. Loved the extra info on what was done to your hair, looks stunning 😍

haha yes! Even when I’m made up and thinking I look OK, the hairdresser’s lighting always brings me back down to reality! 😂 When you’re doing your makeup at around 6:40, the light is soft and gorgeous and you look amazing! Your hair looks great - you now have the same cut as me. It frames the face nicely.

My fav razor to shave my face is a men’s straight razor, “van der hagen.” I feel like the one blade is better for my sensitive skin.

Omg I usually use one of those scary Revlonish straight razors on my face but my skin is so sensitive I usually get like a razor burn on my face (I just have blond peach fuzz). I also buy men’s razors (Mach 3 I think great razor) so I’m going to try that now!! Yay thx for the tip girlfriend 🥰😍🤗❤️✌🏼 Also saw on IG….your hair looks gorgeous. I feeeeel you on the evil hair dresser lighting! I intentionally suffered through my last appointment without makeup so that my colourist could really see my skin tone and so we could achieve the most complementary tones for my skin in my hair. Your brows are phenomenonal btw, loving all the hair you've decided to keep on your bodayyy

Whenever I get my hair done, I always get dressed up and do my makeup. Two reasons. 1. The women at the salon always look fabulous I’ve noticed haha 2. Your hair feels all fabulous when you leave, and being/feeling drab w no makeup or casual clothes kills my new hairdo vibe! 😀

How do you keep the underside of your long nails clean? Every time I try to grow mine out, I get so annoyed by how dirty my nails get…
Also, I love using CosRX pimple patches for those zits. There’s a thicker version that I wear overnight, and a thinner version that’s barely noticeable for daytime. They’re hydrocolloid patches that basically absorb the “leakage” mentioned.

Loved watching your Glow Up! And your hair is stunning! I love the color and the layers. My glow up also starts in the shower with a good scrub then moisturizer and body oil on my damp skin. I'm still trying to perfect my self tan. Sometimes I'm great, sometimes I'm "need to improve." :)

I kinda do the same thing.. exfoliate, put a tan on and then wash my hair because that is always a half day project #rapunzel. Then before bed I always use a darker fake tan and do some faux freckles on my face because that just makes me cute haha. So in the morning I feel so fresh and readyyyy!

i always use men's razors!! and i always buy the refills from costco haha i haven't used them on my face but they are so much better than women's razors!

A tip for anyone who used crest whitening strips: if you cut them in half the long way, you get more bang for your buck! They still fit on your teeth, you just don’t end up folding them onto the back of your teeth (like shown in her video) 🥰

I love some self care. I personally enjoy having my hair freshly colored and styled too! I also love taking bubble baths, listening to music, tan, have dinner with friends, take long walks by myself, do pilates and yoga as well as put a fav outfit together and makeup. Love that you're taking care of yourself. It's so crucial. ❤
I like the Colgate pen a lot more. You can put it on and go to sleep. Wake up with whiter teeth without drool or sensitivities.

For those who do face shaving, do you otherwise remove facial hair first? I was my upper lip so I'm wondering if it would cause it to grow back thicker?
I shave my upper lip with a facial razor and if anything it grows back less! I prefer it to waxing because I can top it up at home whenever I need to 🤍

If I have a bad spot I go ahead put a big pimple patch over it (like the cosrx hydrocolloid ones) and it helps massively with mask wearing!!

How often do you get your hair dyed? I feel like you've done yours like four times since I've last been lol. I love the fresh dyed hair feel or just a couple weeks in. I'm thinking maybe I should go more often for touch ups just scares me with bleaching too often but yours always looks so beautiful and healthy. Also do you find hair grows back thicker or quicker on the face shaving it? I wanted to try but I'm afraid but I see so many women doing it. I usually bleach but I'd rather it be gone fully.
Armineh does a full head of highlights on me every 5-6 months, and then we do a tone and any face framing highlights as needed in between! ❤️

Tan tip: first put lotion on wrists, knees, elbows, hands and feet, gets less harshness on those dry, tricky areas
I'm interested to know how many laser hair removal treatments you needed before you were finished. They usually sell them in packs and I'm not sure if I should purchase a 6 pack or a 10 pack...
Tbh it would be impossible for me to tell because I’ve been doing it since before covid, moved before that and in between, and the salons kept going in and out of lockdown in Toronto LOL I’ve technically started three times over!! But I had thick black hair (tmi) and would have bought an 8-10 pack if I were starting fresh
