“Russell seems like such an angry man. There’s gonna come a day where he’s gonna get pissed and it’s gonna cost him.”
Vinny was a true visionary.
And it couldn’t have possibly happened at a better time… love it
And Vinny was right. The finale showed it all. His anger issue towards Rob and his impatience to give 3 orders at a time make him lost.
Trev and Vinny talking about how angry Russell gets, prompting Russell to pop out from behind a wall and start yelling at them, thereby immediately proving them right, is such a good moment omg 😭
It kinda like a jumpscare from horror movie too be honest
Just having that conversation alone made them both more qualified for the position. Russell never spoke of his teammates and competitors as members of a functional unit; he only spoke about them to talk about how much better he was than everyone.
No wonder his last name is a homonym for Cook; because he's not a Chef.
He also proved them right in the finale with the fact that his anger contributed to his loss
If there was a female verson of Raj in Hell's Kitchen, Gina was the closest
Yes however no can compare to Raj!
Both were probably plants…
What about the chef who just decided to put gingerbread cookie crumbles in her signature dish?
@@kenisme1000 Raj is just on another level!
@@seanswinton6242 No! That was just stupid but not not a complete moron!
Hassan clearly dominated in the beginning of S15 but began his downfall as soon as he was appointed to the red team. Dannie's toxic behaviour and individualism really did hurt him (she f*cking quit during the finale).
I wonder how far he would have gone if he stayed in the blue team. But let's be honest: Dannie staying much longer than Hassan was one of the biggest slap in the face.
I think even Tamday regrets letting her stay as long. Shevwas toxic.
He was destined to fail on the Red Team because of his cocky attitude. The ladies in the Finals from the Red Team wouldn't have tolerated his behavior for long. Besides, they were better.
It's like there's a curse for someone who has potential from beginning suddenly slipping in the middle and got eliminated too early even though they are way better than the chefs who made it further!
Like Hassan, Gizzy Seasom 18, Keona Season 20 are the examples of that.
If Hassan isn't too cocky, he would make it further than Jackie, Dannie, Joe or even Frank who mostly are inconsistent. Honestly, almost of everyone in Season 15 is terrible person and so annoying.
If Gizzy has more confident, she would make it further than Scotley and Jose who mostly there just to bully Trev or Brett who is one trick phony for only excells to cook Italian or Heather who is so arrogant and bitching a lot.
If Keona didn't have burn pork, she would make it further than Sam who can't cook chicken in general or Josie who mostly entire time simping to Emily just because they're both vegans.
Dannie completely screwed the fish station by not using non stick pan. I still have no idea how she made it this far.
What? Hassan is a cocky hostile guy who cusses every 5 seconds like a kid when their parents are not home, he brings in civil conversation, he disrespectfully refused when Dannie asked him for a private discussion, he threatened to smack Kevin
THEY SENSORED THE PUPPETS SWEARING
I love the editors of this show so much
Tbf I don't blame Hassan for acting out against Dani. Dani was a horrible teammate and only cared about herself while Hassan was looking into the best interest of his team like a real leader should. Also, for the Trev/Russell situation, I can see a few reasons why Trev chose Russell over Vinny. He either wanted to spare Vinny because Vinny was the only person on the blue team that he had a bond with or he wanted to put up Russell as a pawn to get Rob out because putting up Russell against Rob essentially guaranteed that Rob gets sent home while with Vinny it is a bit more of a toss up. That doesn't change the fact that Russell was way out of line in how he reacted to getting nominated tho.
Rob certainly got his comeuppance after the crap he pulled with Curtis.
@@NerdyHippy Yeah Rob letting Curtis sink made zero sense to me when watching back season 8. The entire team wanted Raj gone so wouldn't it make sense to help Curtis control his station so that Raj would stand out as the obvious elimination that night? And after that Rob says something along the lines of "It sucks that Curtis was eliminated and that Raj is still here." I don't know Rob maybe if you chose to help Curtis instead of being an idiot and letting Curtis sink maybe he would have still been in the competition.
@@nevenpatrk9661 And then also Rob after that: "Please, help me Russell-senpai! This is bullshit that no one's helping me!!"
Honestly, the cast in Season 8 is so bad, I don't count anyone besides Russell and Jillian are talented in general! If Russell is way humble and can control his anger and even not to threat to hurt anybody, he would win fair and square. Jillian is mostly just there and she's too passive to be a leader.
??? Hassan was not looking into the best Interested, he is the one who disrespectfully refused to have a discussion with Dannie when she asked nicely, he was very hostile and brought in nasty tone
"YOU COULDN'T COOK MY 🐓!!"
still one of my favorites
I still maintain that Dannie was a big reason Hassan got eliminated so early despite being one of the best chefs that season. She was clearly just jealous Hassan was a respected leader so constantly tried to mess with him and throw off momentum in the team which in part led Hassan to have a terrible service and get eliminated. In fairness his performance that night was abysmal and it was a fairly brutal boot from GR as he’d not been put up before despite Jacque going up constantly, but I think a big part of it was Dannie submarining Hassan.
Yep, because she did the same thing to Chad as well. She tanked TWO potential standouts/leaders because she was jealous that she wasn't the one in charge, despite the fact she was one of the worst cooks on the red team and only got spared by Ariel playing politics.
@@MrLeedlesProductions Exactly. I couldn’t stand her. Imagine keeping someone on who ended quitting mid service in the final.
@@MrLeedlesProductions how is she one of worst cooks? She’s made only 6 mistakes throughout her run
Also, let's not forget on Finale on Ariel's team, she's walking out on rage! Which is totally unprofessional and it will affect her future as well.
My favourite one episode rivalry is Matt vs Ben from season 4. After the F10 elimination and a huge tantrum thrown at Ben, Matt went toe to toe with Ben in the blind taste test, both scoring 4 points, and gave the red team the win. During service that night, Matt had his best service, carrying his team to victory, while at the same time laughing at Ben getting destroyed by Ramsay. His smirking at Ben during elimination was just icing on the cake for me. Say whatever you want about both men involved, but I find their rivalry extremely iconic.
Couldn't stand Matt, but it was pretty funny watching his reaction to Ben crashing and burning.
The fact that Danny actually was the better chef than Ben makes it funnier 😂
Can't wait for most despised chefs each season. Chefs while not necessarily bad cooks left such a bad impression that they'll forever be hated.
Elise and Russell for sure. Immensely talented chefs, but no professionalism or leadership skills.
@@teamguido555 i would've picked Sabrina just how insufferable she was.
@@frankieseward8667sabrina doesn't even feel real it's literally a character
What I never liked about Nicole was that she had as much passion as a can of beans, until someone called her out for it. Then suddenly she has a personality.
Also, if you look at her burning picture, her picture even looks boring, just like her!
Nicole on Season 12 is one of those chefs I have a major question about, in terms of her being on the cast for this. Like, why would she even be on this show if she was so quiet and had so little passion or personality the entire time? Did she have a great audition, and then something happened between that and her making it to set? Maybe she was told that Nothing she says matters unless that camera is rolling or something, who knows. And if not that, and she really was that dour and soulless, how did she even make it on the season? Who knows.
I don’t get how the loudest and most passion ridden shows would cast someone as quiet as her
She genuinely could be super passionate about cooking, but she just doesn’t show it like literally everyone else on the show has done with only a few exceptions.
Total casting anomaly that must not have panned out the way the show runners hoped it would
Sometimes I wonder if she’s related to Joseph from season 6
Fr. Nicole's complete lack of passion for anything was just frustrating, because that spot could've gone to a chef that actually cared. Like jfc, even Lacey and Tiffany had more passion than her. Not to mention Nicole was a crap chef on top of that
Nicole wasn’t just quiet she couldn’t cook, terrible communication, zero passion, no teamwork and wasn’t a team player. Rewatching season 12 im so glad she was eliminated by the 2nd episode
As someone who is shy and quiet myself, I don't see her shy or quiet. She's just lazy and doesn't even want to try at least once. Like how in first dinner service, she caused the red team lost because of how she orders Joy to drop the lobster and wants to quit. She is the type of person who doesn't take criticism very well and will never change because she doesn't want to try or get out of comfort zone.
I'm pretty sure the Kimmie rivalry happened with MULTIPLE women that season. Kimmie was at the centre of most of the drama and she should have been booted earlier. Really glad Russell didn't win in the end. Not a big fan of Trev but he was right about him.
Robyn was arguably worse. She was given way too many chances. Think about it, why was she sent to Blue Teams on both of her seasons? It wasn't for her outstanding cooking or leadership! It was because she was always part of the problems-the common denominator of drama and controversy!!
Danny was not lying from the beginning of the season saying that he'll 'dwarf' everyone on his path, and he did just that lol
He still couldn't cook his cock
Best short-term rivalry was Julia and Tiffany. Tiffany's disrespect for Julia simply because she worked at a Waffle House! One episode, and POOF! Tiffany was gone and Julia finished with a Black Jacket, I believe 3rd or 4th!
Julia finished 4th in S3
@@amirwilson2809 Cool. I couldn't remember while typing. I'm too busy watching HK other seasons.
Basically, the entire Red Team Season 3 bullying poor Julia for being Waffle House Cook but ironically, every single one of them has their own flaws.
Tiffany = Can't cook eggs
Joanna = Being too bossy and even tried to serve rancid crab
Jen = Takes pasta from the trash bin
Bonnie = is a Bimbo and Crybaby
Melissa = Starting out decent only later go cuckoo with messy hair
@@margarethmichelina5146No wonder Julia wasn’t happy to be on Bonnie’s team in the season 3 finale.
If you were to do another rivalries video, you could do:
Jackie vs Kristen (15)
Jennifer vs Roe (13)
Barbie vs Tiffany (10)
Josh vs Nick (14)
Hassan may not have made it far but at least he didn’t quit service like Danny.
Russell thinks he’s the victim and I feel that he needs serious help cause his attitude could cost his everything which it did.
Dannie didn’t really quit on the final service, she and Ariel confirmed that she never left and that they edited it other clips to make it seem like she left
@@JohnnyJimmyJon Found the simp
@@NerdyHippy nope they both literally confirmed it
Yo Flynn, you should rank all first eliminations either by "skill" or by how reasonable their elimination was.
This. I feel Pat in HK16 shouldn’t have gone home first. He did reasonably well for his signature dish and had more screen time than most first boots. Not to mention Matt received the infamous GoPro comment from Ramsay. 😂
@@ShadowLinkxMasterReally Pat? Maybe I need to rewatched Pat run again!
ben would prob be the most unfair as elise did terrible on meats.
Yeah, I might be doing a first boot rankings myself down the road. I would do it based on "gameplay" and Pat would surely be near the top. I legit told a friend when I watched it that I did not see Pat being that guy who's the "first one out." It was ironic how he was the one who told Chef how they were going to regroup, but in the end that meant his ouster.
@@RubyStretch Pat?
There was a short-lived rivalry between Brendan and Paul in season 9, I do believe it had the potential to be a somewhat male equivalent of the Elise-Carrie rivalry from the same season if it weren't for Brendan lying about the fish in night 2 which led to his elimination
“I’m glad Paul finally learned how to cook proteins!”
“Shut up, dumpling!”
@@SlickZero1028he was very obsessed with food related insults
Also, Brendan is already showing his arrogance and even telling how rich he is to everyone including Ramsay. His lying to Ramsay is his final nail in the coffin.
13:48 lmao nice voice crack 😂😂😂 "you've gotten the compliment yet BeEn?"
Trev was probably seeing Russell, Bret, Scotley, and Motto in that ice when he was hammering it.
“That b*tch folded like a piece of wet paper towel.” is one of my favorite quotes from a contestant. That cracked me up. Thank you, Nedra 😂
@13:32 That is such a funny insult to dish at an eventual HK winner. 😂
Seriously 😂
@@SlickZero1028 Am I right? Like unless it’s a foreign delicacy, who eats c*cks?
Thats why i love Ben
Ben and Danny rivalry was quality!
“You couldn’t cook my cock!”
I rewatched the season and honestly, I just found Ben entertaining. He was skilled in his own right, definitely much more than Andrea, but was also inconsistent.
That one conversation between Trev and Brett was true tho Brett has a point .. if he disregards the opinion of the guest judge that chef Ramsey invited to judge shows he just can’t handle constructive criticism.. she clearly is there for a reason she knows what she’s talking about.
That's true. Sure it's just one opinion, but it's one opinion from one of the best pastry/desert chefs in the world who clearly knows her stuff.
Trev is an idiot
He said it's just one opinion because he said previously a lot of people loved those desserts when he made them for them.
@@samleembardo6202of course he’d say that
7:48 - 7:53
Shakespearian-level foreshadowing to the finale.
1:57 That's really show how Christina is totally deserved to win Season 10.
Ben and Danny’s rivalry in that episode was funny
while I didn't like many of the contestants in the 18 season I liked Trev and Mias friendship as the two underdogs and had to laugh when Ariel nodded after Trev called Brett a one trick pony.
Hassan deserves a second run in HK. Danni did him dirty for being so butthurt that she didn't get the spotlight of being 'Red Team Leader'.
Hassan did himself in by wrecking chicken. Karma came for him and got him. His cocky attitude when entering the Red Team didn't help.
@@seanswinton6242 Danni didn't exactly help her credibility when she walked off in a huff at final dinner service because she got told once she did something wrong.
@NerdyHippy Dannie performed badly for sure, but Hassan messed up his chicken and Ariel had to fix it. Hassan sweating in the food also didn't sit well with Ramsay as well. When Ramsay sends someone to lead another team, they have to step up and maintain the same standards that got them transferred otherwise they are gone.
@@seanswinton6242 I do wonder if he would've made it to Black Jacket had he stayed on the Blue Team. Either that, or come within an eyelash of.
If there was ever an "Unfinished Business" for those who didn't make black jackets, Hassan would be a great choice. That said, he gets way too cocky.
I find it hilarious how they censor the puppet's mouth when Gina says a bad word using it at 10:15

As much of a joke Gina was... I kinda have to agree with her about the whole apps debacle. I don't think I heard Nedra communicate with Gina until after Gina cooked the scallops, therefore screwing Gina over.
My favorite part about the puppet is that even though it was Gina that was swearing, the puppet's mouth still got censored.
Season 18 Brett was insufferable.
I forgot how rotten Dani’s attitude was. She also quit during the final service iirc
Season 14, Milly vs Brendan. "YOU CAN'T BURN?!!!"
In Season 5, Danny backed it up when he said he's the best chef. Always liked Ben, talked a good game but was always 1-upped. This exchange between them cracked me up. 🤣
Hey Flynn, you should do worst service from every HK winner. Or worst performance by a winner at a challenge.
Hells kitchen is just brilliant isnt it 😂.
I love your content, have always been a HK fan, so I’m still waiting on that Black Jacket curse video you promised.
I couldn't understand why Hassan and Dannie couldn't get along over a simple leader click. They're like little kids arguing over who has the best hot wheels set.
Hassan tried to get along, but Dannie was stubborn in thinking that she's the leader, which was laughable since the red team lost three straight dinner services before the former's arrival.
@@chrismathgeniusopposite, Hassan was the one being disrespectful and cocky, Dannie requested for a private discussion and he disrespectfully and aggressively refused, he threaten to smack Kevin and brought in nasty tone and civil conversation
Raj & Melinda were both on the same wavelength 😅😅
One video in the future should be one chef from every season that had black jacket potential and missed out on a black jacket
Ben and Danny was 1 sided rivalry. Ben could not back up his talk, Danny even fixed a lot of Ben's screw ups when ben was accused of sabotage
Didn't know Ben had a pet rooster. Not sure why he was asking to get it cooked, roosters are generally tougher... 🤔
Kimmie piss me off so much in season 10! Especially when she failed on Southern Night! I’m also from South! But it’s not my entire personality!
Sterling and Bryant?
That's the best short-lived conflict. Sterling and Bryant clashed initially, sorted it out like men, and moved forward. As a result, Sterling's best kitchen performance came when Bryant needed it most...in the Finals.
Gina with the puppet 😂😂, hellooo, it’sa niceaaaa placceeee

Thanks For Sharing!
Video idea! Contestants that give off the same vibe and basically had the same story/outcome. Example Kasha and Melanie from season 12.
that would be nice!
I loved Alfredo the Puppet
something that really did rub me the wrong way was the confrontation between ben and danny.
for those who don't know, danny was the winner of that season of hell's kitchen. however the fame got the better of him, and a few years after his win, he was arrested for a DUI.
i don't know about you, but when ben said "danny's ego is going to get the better of him", it instantly took me back to that particular moment. ben was, in all honesty, right. he didn't prove it right then and there, but he proved it.
They put a bleep mark over the puppet’s mouth. 🤣
How about best elimination puns that Ramsey makes before burning their picture.
I LOVED those clips of Season 10 fights, especially that one episode where basically all the girls fought and it was a MESS! But i can't find it anymore, the videos got down??
Trev’s rivalries were so good. I was kinda on his side the third time, but don’t really care for him or Brett tbh 😂
I wasn't a fan of Trevor at all. Always whining. With Brett, whining but a better chef. Trevor was pathetic because he didn't improve from 10 seasons ago. While harassed and some say "bullied" by a younger Scotley, I'm sure Ramsay considered that when eliminating Trevor. We all have had co-workers who we don't get along with, but a leader is mature enough not to let it get to them. Focus on the job, and let them fall by the wayside. Consider them no longer a part of the actual team.
Just because you weigh 5million pounds 😂
i really didn’t like danny at first cuz of his arrogance
which is weird cause i was a huge fan of ben from the get go (probably cause he wasn’t necessarily AS arrogant?? and he didn’t walk around like that idk but he definitely had his moments too)
but danny honestly grew on me a lot
especially with the dynamic he had with ben cuz they went from at each other’s throats to best buds and i think that’s really nice
It’s a shame Guy had to go so early, because him vs Royce was hysterical
Also looking back at it, I never realized how Robert was pretty much the glue for the entire blue team in Season 5. He helped Ben and Danny get along and was the only one who seemed to be cool with Seth
Yeah, I also find it baffling how long Royce stayed
I liked the way Dannie ate her food at 5:57. It looked so sultry and sexy 😃
If Dannie was gone over Hassan at F11, I would have been way happier...
1:10 they def try not to make fat jokes
I thought it was cowardly of Gina to leave and give up an opportunity just because of Nedra, when she was the one annoying everyone with her puppet. She's not exactly a ventriloquist, is she?
Leaders can lead without having a hostile ego and hormone driven aggression. Dannie simply requested for a one on one discussion with him following his announcement and he disrespectfully and aggressively refused. They could have come to an understanding easier in private. That again that is not what leaders do. Ramsay has one on one's. If he was so great he would have won. Profanity doesn't lead to civil conversation nor does a nasty tone, both of which Hassan clearly displayed. Is that how he would speak to Chef Ramsay as he discussed his plan to improve the Red Team? Of course not. We saw this same garbage from Scott in Season 7. Guess what? Both fell on their faces and were eliminated! (both landing in 11th place) He's not Chef Ramsay, so why act like it. If someone is screwing up and failing to accept your leadership, nominate them. However he MUST then admit his screw-ups as well or then he's useless as a leader.
...Right, because that excuses Dannie being toxic to EVERYONE on red team except for Ariel, who saved her multiple times over voting-wise, as well as definitely made her to be the good side of when she completely buried Chad despite the fact it was her fault that he was messing up in the first place?
Hassan tmk only was getting "hostile" and as you put it showing "hormone driven aggression" BECAUSE Dannie was a toxic influence which he saw from miles away, and why? Because he was a leader and she wasn't, plain and simple.
@@MrLeedlesProductions Hassan was always hostile and aggressive, he threatened to smack Kevin, Had a conversation with Ariel during mid service, and randomly cussing and yelling at Dannie after she requested for a one on one discussion
@@JohnnyJimmyJonExactly! I guess you and I see it the same. All Dannie requested was a civil conversation as 2 grown adults. Yelling and profanity was totally uncalled for, especially in the dorms. Saying crap like, "I'm not yelling, this is the way I talk!" The second I saw that BS, I was done. Sure Dannie didn't get along with her teammates, but that is a common occurrence on Red Teams strangely. HK is unlike real life and some forget that. None of us LIVE with our co-workers. We deal with them at work. We get no idea of the dorm life. That definitely affects life in the kitchen because there is no reprieve. Hassan's elimination was karma for his garbage attitude on the Red Team. Also for his crappy performance on that Red Team. If he crumbled there, he had no chance! Such is the case for most men. They have a superiority complex and lack humility. Just cook and lead.
Do worst chefs to get a black jacket, and best chefs to not get a black jacket

Paul v Brandon S9
Even though Scotly was an asshole he's right about one thing, the red team did fall apart as soon as he left.
There was no leadership from anyone. They did not wanna work as a team. I think it's Gordon's fault for turning the season back into Men vs Women. the two finalists were a Rookie and an all-star, which is what it would've ended up as if they kept the teams as rookies vs all-stars

This Scotley was bullying narrative has stop. Trevor was acting like a girl, too much in his feelings when he grown man.
I agree the "bullying" term was wrong. Harassment and nagging, for sure. Bullying implies physical intimidation or a threat of violence. For examples look at Season 10's Tiffany, Robyn, and Kimmie. Getting into teammates faces with hands and violently knocking stuff over like Tiffany. Season 8's Russell is the best example! He threatened to beat up teammates. Trevor was simply not ready for the job. Especially, begging Christina for a job in the middle of the competition! Who does that?
Nah bullying doesn't always imply violence. I dealt with plenty of bullies in middle school, and 80% of them were like Scotley. One of them jumped out at me in the hallway and I threw him down the stairs. He wasn't a physical threat to me, but he was still a bully. @@seanswinton6242
