I love how you put prices in your product description along with where to find products. Just an extra perk that is appreciated. I’ve not seen any other influencers do that. Great info!
Thank you for reviewing the Mercier Caviar Liners! I know they’re new, but you’re the only person I watch on YTube that has reviewed them! I will definitely be purchasing a couple. The new Ultra Blur powder is also great! I use the Mercier Secret Brightening Powder under my eyes.
Excited to try the plum plump glow recipe serum once it comes in my fff box. Beware the Avocado line has niacinimide in many of the products (for those sensitive like me).
100% agree on TF BTS mascara - horrible for me. BUT the waterproof version has been great for me. No smudging, flaking, or clumping and it holds my curl.
I have been using Huda's Easy Bake for a while now. It's worth an investment. It's really good. Since I have stopped using concealer for a while now using cherry blossom as a brightener has worked wonders for me 😄😄
Stephanie, I am with you - even though we have slightly different skin types, we are about the same age and I have NEVER liked the elf Putty Primers. They just do not work for me! I like the liquid version of this better but it's still not my favorite as a true primer. I don't feel like it does a lot for me in terms of the wear of my foundation. My skin tends towards dry and I actually like it best by itself with just some concealer on no-makeup makeup days. It helps with some of the texture around my nose, gives me a little bit of a blurred effect and works as a nice base for concealer and helps that meld into an overall look so it doesn't look imbalanced that I've got concealer on but no foundation. But as a primer for foundation it's kind of meh for me.
That makes the third palette they have made with that cute setup on the inside.....the different shaped squares that u can use in quads..... there's two more brown/nude palettes. I loved the other two. ..may have to check out this one too
Thanks Stephanie!, looking gorgeous! And I love your content and videos. Could you maybe try the made by Mitchell cream palette?, I have 3 unopened and on u tube have not seen anyone around 50 testing them?, they look great!. X❤
I love the Huda Beauty mascara. It gives me lift, volume and it doesn't clump or smudge. In all sincerity I believe less is more. No primer, I don't curl my lashes. I just use mascara.
Hi! You usually want to apply your skincare from thinnest to thickest. Serums are much lighter than moisturizers and are to be applied after cleansing/toning. So it's the first thing I put on usually unless I'm applying a liquid essence or something. I hope that helps! :)
I’m so glad I found someone with similar lashes because mine are straight down lashes and only few mascaras will work for me! My favorites lately are the elf big mood waterproof mascara and then the maybelline sky high waterproof mascara. Only waterproof works for me so far
Hi Stephanie, the one thing that was a game changer for me in July. Discovering the Ordinary’s Amino Acids and B5. My skin is finally hydrated ! I have to try the green bottle of glow drops Niacinamide next. Love this video ❤
I am curious as to your go to eyeshadow primer now, I have so much trouble with shadow staying in the hot weather and can rarely use cream sticks without creasing. Appreciate your recommendations 👌
Thx for the heads up on the LM tightliners. Sephora is now carrying Bleu Marine, Cocoa, Tuxedo and Bronze. I'm always on the hunt for a pencil that will stay in my very watery eyes. I'm getting Bleu Marine & Tuxedo. I have fine, bone-straight lashes so I'm ordering the Too-Faced primer as well. That shade of pink is GORGEOUS on you!
Love this, thanks so much for all the recommendations. Do you by any chance have a video on how to do eyeshadow? I struggle so much that i no longer wear it. Also, what mascara do you use, and do you use a curler? My eyelashes are thin and have little curl
Hi! In this playlist bit.ly/3YgUjQQ I have several eye-focused videos over on the right. There are a couple of mascara routine videos in there, one of which is the one I use more commonly, where I apply a waterproof layer prior to a waterproof. Here are some mascaras I enjoy that include both waterproof and non: shopmy.us/collections/15147 I hope that helps! :)
Totally random, but have you tried putting the initials in your background in front of the vase? They may show up more... They are so pretty but blend in with the frame. 🙂
Hey Steph! I took the sponge off of the Huda mini. It's way better! It will last you a while too! I have the exact same lashes as you. I hate I'm limited to waterproof but it is what it is. No way around it for me :( so much money lost on hyped up "long lasting" mascaras lol
Thank you for sharing that! I'll go for it now! You may like the Too Faced Primer - I feel better that it at least has some nourishing ingredients in it too :)
I got the Givenchy mini in 2 I love it first time I tried it and I’m hooked. Wow ! Also have you tried the Dominique cosmetic rosita pink powder ? I like it alot. I’m 62. So maybe ?? ❤😊
Hey! If you haven’t tried the Necessaire scalp serum, I recommend it. It’s been great for me - no more flare ups of my dermatitis. And it’s watery, so it’s undetectable.
I wonder if you could repurpose the colour adapting blusher to use on your lips? You never know, you may like the shade it creates 😉 Two products I've been enjoying this month are : the Beauty Pie Super Retinol Eye Cream and the Dermelect Smooth Upper Lip and Perioral Treatment. I'm using the Retinol eye cream just 2 or 3 nights a week for now and haven't experienced any dryness etc. Now I'm interested in the LolaVie hair products for my dry, curly hair. Lots of love 💗 💗💗💗💗💗
I'd love to hear how Lolavie works on your hair type if you try them! I did see JA use them on her undone natural wavy hair and they looked fab! I'm sure the blushes would work well on lips too. I need to try them :) Those products sound great! Have a great Sunday! 💗
Hi Stephanie! That color looks beautiful on you. I am so glad you reviewed the Huda mascara. I have the same issues with my lashes so I will pass on this product. I resisted the Glow recipe products for a while. Then I got a deluxe sample of the Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops and fell in love. I saw improvements in my skin right away, like you did. I'm going to give the Avocado a try because I do deal with redness. I am looking forward to trying the Rare Beauty eye shadow sticks, too. BTW..you recommended the Living Proof dry shampoo a short time ago. WOW! I honestly feel my hair actually gets clean. Thanks again for another great video. 😊❤
We have the same lashes! If I use anything other than waterproof mascara my lashes go straight again. I am looking forward to the lash primer you mentioned that won’t drop them down. Thank you for sharing that. Any recommendation for a great volumizing mascara that is waterproof?
Hi Steph, sorry to bother you again. Have you tried the mac I pellet in art library. It’s fabulous. Have a great day and sorry for bothering you again.
I've tried to do that in my head a few times and it's hard because I like both. I feel like JVN may be a wee bit lighter but doesn't help as much with manageability, which I didn't realize was a "thing" until using Lolavie. After using it several times, I was trying to pinpoint exactly what it was that was so different that I was liking even if it was almost imperceptible. And I think that's it. I also think there's more frizz prevention. But I love that you get so much out of JVN in one product. It's kind of hard to compare them in a way. lol
Stephanie, I loved this video of your July favorites & fails! I think the pink jacket/blazer iS too big for you & that’s why it seems to ride forward or whatever you mentioned. I hadn’t watched your channel in awhile bc I’ve been going through a difficult time w my son’s passing. I wanted to say that you look like you’re getting younger instead of older! Your skin & makeup looks flawless!! Your hair looks gorgeous & I especially love your highlights! I didn’t know that anyone used filters that reviewed makeup so they could give us a “true look”, however an influencer said on their channel & I’m trying my best to remember exactly the way “they said it”….they said, “No foundation nor makeup products will make you look like the influencer is trying to make you believe it will without using filters!!” They stated that “products” did not make us look flawless IF our skin wasn’t flawless to begin with!!! I didn’t agree w them 100%, but it did make me begin to think about things a little more before I bought everything I saw an influencer use like I used too 3 yrs ago when the pandemic was going on. However, before I had heard that statement…I had tried some foundation that was in the $130 range & did not put mascara on nor any other products & was given several compliments from ppl that never gave me compliments very often & never when I only had foundation on, so I know the $130 foundation had a lot to do w the compliment I received as they were “direct” w their compliment by saying “your face looks nice today!!!” Either way, filters or not, you are such a gorgeous looking lady Stephanie!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤ You also have the most beautiful teeth Stephanie! I love your smile!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi! Glad to have you back! I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss 💜 The blazer is made to be oversized, so it’s meant to be bigger 😃 There was some fear-mongering going on a while back about beauty influencers and filters. A bunch of us got asked about it often. I always thought they were referring to the bigger influencers because one I know uses them or even knows how to use them or where to get them - including myself. I don’t see the point, especially in my age demographic. It would be the opposite of helpful to not be honest about how my skin looks. Plus I show my skin in various lighting conditions here and on IG from my phone and big camera in various lighting conditions, which makes things look a bit different each time. The improvement is most likely my skincare and incorporating facial devices that I wasn’t using before. They make a huge difference. I’m happy to see the difference is noticeable! Thanks for your kind words and I hope to see you around! 💗
Love Beauty Pie lash primer, my lashes stay curled and it is very effective. Wonderful video as always! BTW the Huda mascara package matched your blazer perfectly!
I’m sorry, but I don’t understand having an issue with the “Too faced better than sex foreplay” mascara name? Sex isn’t a bad or shameful word. Foreplay isn’t a bad or shameful word. It’s a very natural, and healthy part of life.
I'm a totally open person with that and yes it’s healthy. I just find it kind of "try hard" and cringe, when brands like them and Nars (even though I like the brands overall), tend to try and be super cool and overreach with product names sometimes. It’s kind of like video clickbait but with product names. As a side note though, young teens and kids buy makeup too and shop with their moms, so there's also that. My kids are older but one thing for us to shop and come across this stuff at our age and young girls shopping online and seeing products named foreplay, deep throat, orgasm, etc. It's food for thought. No need to read into it. I simply find it cringe. And it's OK to have an opinion on something, right?
You looked so very lovely! The pink blazer is so pretty! 🩷 I have the Huda mascara in my cart and I have to say, I was surprised that it wasn’t more expensive! It does seem to be polarizing-some loooove it while others hate it. I was not a fan of the original E.L.F. putty primer-I had to keep massaging it in and it wasn’t pleasant. I think I’ll get this new version as I have heard great things about it! I have to confess, I still haven’t tried any thing from Glow Recipe but I think now I’ll pick up the Watermelon serum at the next Sephora sale.

Thank you! I appreciate that! ❤️

Clothes hair and jewelry giving boss babe vibes today!! 🎉

Could you do a video on your Glow Recipe products and what are all the results?
Stephanie! That hot pink
looks awesome on you!! Bright colors look great on you!! 🥰
Thank you! 💗
Love the look of the too faced pallete as the natural nudes is one of my favourites 😍 love the reviews ❤
Excited to try the plum plump glow recipe serum once it comes in my fff box. Beware the Avocado line has niacinimide in many of the products (for those sensitive like me).

Another great video! Love your detailed analysis of the different products.
I loveee that Glow Recipe Watermelon AHA Body Lotion !!! Never thought body moisturizers could be that good !!! Lol
Thank you Stephanie. Lovely review.
You have a gorgeous tan Stephanie!❤❤❤

Essence lash primer works good

Hi Steph, sorry to bother you again. Have you tried the mac I pellet in art library. It’s fabulous. Have a great day and sorry for bothering you again.
The face serum intrigues me. I have a lot of redness.
I’m going to see Barbie with my 19 yr old daughter tonight! Could use the jacket!
Do you think the elf primer could be worn alone? Does it have a tint?
There is no tint. You could wear any primer alone if you just want the primer benefits and no extra coverage :)
@@StephanieMarie thank you
How would you compare Lolavie to JVN?
I've tried to do that in my head a few times and it's hard because I like both. I feel like JVN may be a wee bit lighter but doesn't help as much with manageability, which I didn't realize was a "thing" until using Lolavie. After using it several times, I was trying to pinpoint exactly what it was that was so different that I was liking even if it was almost imperceptible. And I think that's it. I also think there's more frizz prevention. But I love that you get so much out of JVN in one product. It's kind of hard to compare them in a way. lol
