You missed Riptide with Perry King and Joe Penny, two guys living together in close quarters on a boat. The best thinly veiled homerotic subtext ever. They bickered like an old married couple. Also loved Hercules but was into Michael Hurst (Iolaus)!
60's kid here, shows my age but Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock and Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin, interesting that in both cases the "exotic" hero became the one most had crushes on.
I was an extra on an episode of 21 Jump Street in 1988. I was sent to the makeup trailer which had only two chairs and there was Johnny Depp in one of them! We even chatted a bit. Really nice guy. The best part was when his makeup was done. He stood up and adjusted his costume while looking in the mirror and ended with adjusting himself! I so wanted to ask if I could give him a hand with that. 😄 Swoon....
What about Merlin with Colin Morgan (Merlin) and Bradley James (Arthur)? The first season was aired in 2008, so it meets your criteria. They always a special chemistry between Arthur and Merlin. In Season 2 we got to see Arthur shirtless quite often. 😍 Also, a bit of an odd one, but Hardcastle & McCormack. As a daddy admirer, I thought Judge Hardcastle was just as hot as Mark McCormack.
I enjoyed most of these shows when they were first aired on American tv, and I still watch Mash reruns regularly -- a truly exceptional show in every sense. I loved Hercules because of Kevin Sorbo, and yes I was disappointed by some of his comments, but the character he portrayed was amazingly appealing. I was an avid Supernatural watcher, too, because of Jensen's Ackles and Sam Padalecki. I always had a difficult time choosing my favourite one of the two actors, I still cannot choose. Both of them were and are beautiful and exquisitely charming. They certainly belong in first place.
....some forgotten Duos throughout the (Gay) Years, if I may.....(cont.) "Bosom Buddies" (1980) (Tom Hanks & Peter Scolari.....and, his GORGEOUS LEGS..... ) "WINGS" (1989) (Tim Daly & Steven Weber) "Riptide" (1984) (Joe Penny & Perry King) "CHEERS" (1982) (Woody Harrelson & Ted Danson) ...ensemble cast, but these 2 were the HOTTEST.. "Sesame Street" (1970) (Bert & Ernie) *"STARSKY & HUTCH"!!!!!* (1975) ...The most ICONIC (& HOTTEST) TV Duo of ALL TIME!
I loved Michael Hurst's Iolaus ever since he discovered surfing wearing the skimpiest of blue loincloths at the start of The Apple episode. It was so fleeting but memorable.
Surprised Starsky and Hutch didn’t make the cut. My vote goes to Slim Sherman and Jess Harper from Laramie, a western that premiered in 1959. A young rancher partners with a young, gunslinging drifter in post Civil War Wyoming. Shared a bedroom, adopted a child and had a live in house keeper.
"...Surprised Starsky and Hutch didn’t make the cut...." *...THANK YOU!* ....I KNEW I was Gay when I saw Hutch jump on the Car and land on his ASS....and Starksy's Ass, in GENERAL! ...Man, did I have a thing for Paul Michael Glaser, a THING! ...ha-HAA!
Hercules had an added bonus in that Sorbo made light of the fact that he and Michael Hurst (and the late Kevin "Ares" Smith) had to go commando under those leather pants. Which were often in need of repair after some of the action stunts. No word on Bruce Campbell (Autolycus), Ted Raimi (Joxer), or Robert Trebor (Salmoneus)? or Karl Urban?? (Cupid/Caesar/etc) Kirk and Spock INVENTED the "slash" in Slashfic. Cliff & Norm on Cheers? HARDcastle & McCormick? Lee Majors and Doug Barr on Fall Guy? Buck Rogers and Hawk? Sgt John Cooper and Ben the BOOT on SouthLand? (It helps Cudlitz snuggles with ALL his costars! I think TWD's Abragene just misses your 2010 cutoff?) Jack Harkness and 9/10/Ianto/Real!Jack?? Ianto's Shrine in Cardiff is still going strong after almost TWENTY YEARS. Heroes fans paired Sylar (Zachary Quinto) with ERRRYBODY. Peter was the usual pairing, but s4 made Parklar canon when Sylar literally lived INSIDE Parkman's head. Also, Apartment M was a thing in s2, with Matt & Mohinder (&Molly).
Bill Cosby and Robert Clup in "I Spy" despite what Cosby became one should point out he was the first black man to be the lead in an American show that wasn't a black sterotype or a servant.
Dean Winchester was my favourite, but let's face facts, EITHER of them could warm my sheets, lol. I think Kevin Sorbo was great looking but finding out he is a trump supporter (among his other awful beliefs) killed my opinion of him. Sorry to get political. Love your lists.
You forgot the most famous duo: Starsky & Hutch. There were quite a few episodes which showed them as true friends.
...a truly GRAND omission....One look at Paul Michael Glaser in those TIGHT JEANS....I mean, c'mon.......

Obviously plenty of scope for another episode here - Starsky and Hutch, The Man from Uncle , Merlin, and my personal favourite Alias Smith and Jones

Kuryakin was beautiful 😍😍😍😍😍😍

I definitely would like to add Shawn and Gus from the tv show “Psych” which ran for 8 seasons and had the chemistry that rivals JD and Turk.

Yup…Hercules and Iolas….especially Herc. Kevin Sorbo was great…and good looking.
unfortunately, Kevin seems to have gone full Maga crazy, lol!
Gotta love Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester)! Looking forward to binging The Boys soon.
YES‼️😍
And they seriously worked the gay innuendos. LOL! But what’s binging? Do I wanna know>.
@@Erin-Thor Binge as in watch many episodes of a show. Maybe it was best left to the imagination?🤔
@@Erin-Thor Binge watching a whole season in one day!
@@Work4Love3000 I’ve binged, never bing’d. LOL!
As ussal, wonderful job, thanks

“Simon & Simon” 1981-1989 - A.J. & Rick Simon, kind of like Sam and Dean Winchester, only a crime drama comedy with good looking and charming duos. 😊
was always Hot for the mustachioed Simon!!
You got number one completely right!
SUPERNATURAL is my all time favorite show. I agree with most of your list.
Kevin Sorbo had the best chest! I always regretted he wore the vest.
it does seem like a wasted opportunity... but maybe, as it was made in New Zealand the weather just wasn't conducive to doing whole scenes Topless!
Eric Estrada was HOT! HOT! HOT!!!

Micheal Ontkean was a HUGE crush of mine back then!
and even cooler for playing one of the first "mainstream" queer films "Making Love" as its lead character.
And let's not forget The Time Tunnel, with James Darren! He passed away a few days ago...
Create video Eduard. I missed Hercules, but I made up for it with Jenson Achles...my favorite!😊
I remember them all great series at the time they aught to bring some back.
Sam Winchester, Luke Duke, and Ponch helped me figure out my sexyality.
...Ponch & Jon, yes....Bo & Luke, of course...but, NO *STARSKY & HUTCH!???* ...a shaaaaame......

Don't forget Reed and Malloy from Adam-12 and Gage and DeSoto from Emergency!
❤❤❤ Sam or Dean ❤❤❤ or Sam & Dean❤❤❤ And boy did they know who their audience really was?!!?!!
Bill Cosby and Robert Clup in "I Spy" despite what Cosby became one should point out he was the first black man to be the lead in an American show that wasn't a black sterotype or a servant.
Starsky and Hutch!!
PS, typo on the Hazard page, Beau not Duke

Always wanted to be in a Sam and Dean sandwich.
