A massive number of all youtube viewers are from the Nordics - we tend to speak English as a 3rd language pretty well, we speak all our 2-3 languages more or less as our mother tongue. While Europe is massive in population (450 million), I think many European countries are not that interested in anything US, only mostly us Nordics.
Having gone to high school in the early ‘80s, I do love the New Wave artists of the era - Soft Cell and Erasure near the top of the list. I do, of course, adore Elton John and Freddie Mercury, who are simply two of the greatest artists in popular music history. Luke Evans is fantastic, too; I bought his latest album a couple of years ago when he first released it. I’m a big fan of several LGBTQ+ Broadway performers who have also had success in either popular music or acting. Raúl Esparza, Gavin Creel (omg he’s sooooo hot!), Billy Porter, Ben Platt, Jonathan Groff. My favorite gay male singers, though, are a few guys I know and have worked with in my opera career. Michael Chioldi and Troy Cook are two I’ve worked with multiple times. They’re both quite successful, having performed at the Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, Los Angeles Opera, places like that. Efraín Solís is someone I’ve only worked with this year, but he’s phenomenal - plus he’s adorably cute…

I still cringe when men in the entertainment industry say they are Bi or Pan. I've even had lovers who insisted they were straight. All I could do is sigh and think, "Is he trying to convince me or himself?" Follow the evidence.
Maybe they actually are Bi or Pan and that they know themselves to be. There are more than two colors in the rainbow. I wish people would be more accepting of the other colors.

I met Andy Bell as he was a performer on a gay cruise. He sang all my favorite Erasure songs to the point I was in tears with glee. I asked if I could get a selfie with him and he was happy to oblige. He was very nice and I was actually surprised at how tall he is!

Ricky Martin released his hits in 98/99 when I was 12. He was my "Ohhhhhh, ok!" moment and the reason this random German speaks fluent Spanish.
