Hi there, I would like to know who to fix the cracks in my dry clay!, please can you kindly give me a tip, I would grately appreciate your input. Thank you.
Hi there! With air dry clay, cracks are totally normal. There are some tricks to minimize it though! A lot of people will lay a damp paper towel over the mould while it dries and it will help prevent cracking. Another trick is painting it before it dries. Really, the biggest trick is slowing down the dry time! The slower it dries, the less cracking you will get. Any cracks you do get, you can always fill in with a little extra clay🤗
Air dry clay probably would break - it's designed to be adhered to furniture to give it extra support but you could use resin in the moulds to make the appliques. Those would be more likely to withstand a drop. :)
@@IronOrchidDesigns please advise to use a respirator with resin. The effects from not could be life altering unhealthy lungs. Always coming from love ~ Deb
I thought the pieces were to dry first but I can see you are using them wet. Also how do I blend two pieces together like a continuous rope perhaps there is another video thx
You can roll them as a continuous rope and cast as you go along for a trim piece - there is a video in our Facebook Group (facebook.com/groups/IODcreativetribe) that shows this. Alternatively, you can push the end pieces together as you glue them down on your project so they appear attached.

Not always, but it is easier to get them into exactly the right place when there is a bit of flex left in the casting.❤️

No need to wash in between castings unless you see junk visibly stuck in the mould cavity. Just dust with cornstarch again and keep on casting!

See the pri to on the molds
I did really want to buy your products and I tried your online website and amazon y I was not able. I end up buying somebody else's clay and moulds. You should make easier for people to buy from you.
I love all your products, but especially the moulds. I’m about to start painting an antique carousel horse and I’ll be using lots of moulds. 🐎 anglin_art
Hi Bonnie! That sounds awesome! Please be sure to share it with us. 💖
I have ordered every one of your molds and have used your Air dry clay and resin. The detail in each mold is gorgeous! Great job on the molds & your clay.
I love this video. I'm very sensitive the certain noises that absolutely drive me crazy and your handling of the clay wrapping paper was like scratching a chalkboard with your nails. Can you create a packaging that is soft and quiet like the zip lock bag and include a zipper closure. Just a suggestion.
I think to much paint was used.
Les Meyer oh girl they don’t know you like I do. Be nice❤️❤️❤️❤️. Love ya!
you might be right! I tend to be heavy with the paint! and no worries, at all, we know we're not perfect and love to hear feedback!
