It's so much fun to see how medieval and folk rock, which was previously only known in Germany/Switzerland and the immediate vicinity, is suddenly loved all over the world.
When I spoke of Feuerschwanz 5 years ago, no one knew what I meant 😂
to bad most of them dont even react to the bands who made that genre kinda "big" like In Ex or StS haha :D
I would argue, that the Brits had a lot to say on this matter with Skyclad.

I'm not that good in German, but from what I did get this is about Fenrir. Son of Loke who was chained to a rock until ragnarök. Fenrir didn't trust the Gods, so to be able to chain him Tyr put his hand in the wolfs mouth. When Fenrir realized that he had been fooled he bit of Tyrs hand.
yeah. this part of the story is where he killed Odin though

Don't forget, that Fenrir was a Wolf, but a realy friendly one. He was loyal to the gods and only want to play and so. But the gods where afraid of him and tried to put him in chains three times.
Fenrir has also two sisters. The Midgard Snake and Hel. The ruler from Helheim. The empire of the Death

Fabienne transforms into the Wolf, it's not easy to get it by a first view 🤘
The song is about the story but f Fenrir, how he was tricked by the gods to be chained to a rock as a test of his strength, after he brought two chains they had another magical one made by the dwarfs, Fenrir(who actually isn't a Bastard, but a legitimate son of Loki, unlike some of his siblings) was weary and thought it was magical, so he demanded one of the gods would place his hand in his mouth, which Tyr, the only one who was ever brave enough to feed Fenrir before, did it, then when they chained him up all were laughing, except Tyr who lost his hand. Fenrir remains in chains till Ragnarok where he brakes loose, (either him or his son's, the sources aren't clear) swallow(s) the sun and Fenrir kills and devours Odin, chief is f the gods, before one of Odin's sons kills him, either by ripping his jaws in two or a knife/sword to the heart, depending on the version of the story. Of course some details were missing and Fenrir isn't a Bastard, but the rest was mentioned in the Song, which was definitely fun to watch and listen

This song is about Fenris from the ancient northern European Mythology, The Fenris Wolf (Fenrisúlfr), the son of Loki and a Giantess, whom the gods feared so much that they put this demigod, this bastard in shackles. The Prophecy predicts that in the time of the world fire, (Ragnarok, the fate of the gods) Fenris will free himself and devour Odin, the one with the eye patch. Odin's son Vidar will avenge his father and kill Fenris in a duel.
