- After spending the last week with Star Trek Bridge Crew, I think it’s safe to say I really am enjoying my time, but with servers off and no day one patch, I think holding out for the full review will let it be much more indicative of the final product. So enjoy this Review in Progress!

This is THE best freaking VR experience I've ever had. And what shocked me the most was that the single player controls amazing! The AI for the crew is really good and the way you issue orders works shocking well for such a complicated setup. Absolutely blown away. And I'm not trying to gush but for me it's a dream come true. The ONLY thing I wish they had was a Farpoint style camera box so I can see exactly where the camera is seeing for setup. It took a bit but once I got it it was pretty much perfect.

+IRONMAN4524 you're gonna have a blast, just make sure you get the camera set right before you boot up, I just keep checking my positions n until my arms can stretch and still be in the shot!
PSVR frank ok gotcha I seen a lot of gameplay on UA-cam and can see what your talking about I need to make sure I'm positioned correctly in the camera "BOX" so it sees all of my head and arms stretched if I'm correct? GREAT! Channel keep it up got my PSVR like 2 weeks ago. Have Farpoint also with the AIM anyway thanks.
I never noticed Captain Kirk wearing his Starfleet badge sideways next to his belly button before....
It is a lot of fun. Fun regardless of if you win or lose on a mission. Hull fails and ship dies but everyone is still laughing or happily discussing tactics to use on the next mission.

+Powermuffin it will be a while before we see it on sale, they dropped MSRP $10 about a month or so before release so I doubt we will see a drop anytime soon, that being said, couldn't hurt to wait and see how well the community grows!

I don't pay for PSN online (I use XBL) so is this game worth it for Single Player?
the only question about this game I have is can you be a crew of a different species ship like a Klingon or Romulan ship
+chris cutler not yet, and no word, you can just be a human or Klingon, and only two ships!
Loved this game, but after 6 months its a bit stale, and ready for an update. They need to add a playable Klingon and Romulan bridge, and new faction based missions.
I just hope this game doesn't steal the thunder of Space Team. I hate when the games that really start genres get forgotten in favor of the bigger games that rip them off.

Played it on a vive for a while, not worth the $50 with the amount of content and things to do, but i'd happily pay $25 for it.
Pulsar:lost colony is much better in VR.

My biggest question from the very beginning is, how are the other players? Is it easy to assemble a full crew? And, are those people actually playing the part, or are there many kids trolling and ruining the immersion?

I love the mans enthusiasm, but all vr gave me was motion sickness. I liked rush of blood and VR worlds, but RE7 and Farpoint was not a joyful experience. I loved showing it to my friends and family, but it's too much money for what it at this point, a fad.

Really sounds like you didn't do your research and like you were hoping for triple a games each month. I clearly knew it was going to be a slow burn. Vr hasn't been out long enough for developers to LEARN how to make vr games let alone put effort and time because vr hasn't been out for a year. When a game like COD or BF takes 2 years minimum to mAke.

Wait for E3 in two weeks before bitching online about a purchase you didn't research beforehand. You're the fucking idiot who shot yourself in the foot for not knowing what you were getting into as a early adopter or new tech.
Any idiot would know it takes time for new tech to be adopted and perfected.
