The new silver haired riders literally can challenge Jace, and they got bigger dragons too 😭 this is why Jace wanted Highborn riders cause their targ blood is so small they can still bond with a dragon but their claim for the throne is small.
I don’t know if Jace’s internal conflicts go as deep as self-hate, but i definitely see what you mean about his insecurities being exposed even more by Rhaenyra. I liked what you said about Rhaenyra solving her succession crisis by opening up another one for her son. Great reaction and commentary as always!
