I do believe that in their own messed up ways, they do love each other but Tom, you wanting to be close to power and money & climb the corporate ladder is a big reason you are with Shiv. Shiv, you wanted a dog that wouldn't leave when you kicked it. It was messed up for Tom to proposed when Logan was in the hospital, really taking advantage of her emotional vulnerability which is something he often does. Shiv, it is straight up evil to cheat on tom throughout your engagement and then tell him on the wedding night after the I dos that you want an open marriage and that you've been cheating on him with your coworker ex whose downstairs right now drinking the wine his parents contributed to. Tom, the betrayed was the smart play but still really messed up. Shiv, you had no empathy for Tom when he thought he was gonna get sent to prison. Tom, you went to some very weird places in season 3 with trying to get her pregnant. Both of you are bad people, your love is toxic and this marriage should not have happened. To quote kendall, "it's the wrong kind of love expression"

I love your reaction to the TomShiv balcony fight, it’s such a great overview of their character flaws & relationship history. They’re both so hurt! It’s easy to forget how earned Tom’s betrayal of Shiv felt in the S3 finale (I still cried for her tho) bcuz he’s kinda been the worst version of himself in S4. I maintain that Tom had the best arc of Season 3 & the writers did a great job building up to that ‘Nero pushes his wife down the stairs & commits to his Sporus slaveboy instead’, however the aftermath this season is tragic. Tom is a quintessential “company man” (derogatory) and it’s why he’s been so successful rising up in the show. I honestly want all the kids away from the company bcuz it’s the only chance they have to heal & build healthy identities. This show is truly Shakespearean & brilliant! None of them are good people but I empathize with all of them at different points. Shiv has got the most sympathy from me this season compared to the last 3 seasons tbh, but she hasn’t actually changed much…her circumstances just keep getting shittier & complicated :(

In Agents of Shield, it even corrupted A FREAKING ROBOT! That's a hint on what kind of person Wanda will be the next time we see her.

The new silver haired riders literally can challenge Jace, and they got bigger dragons too 😭 this is why Jace wanted Highborn riders cause their targ blood is so small they can still bond with a dragon but their claim for the throne is small.

I don’t know if Jace’s internal conflicts go as deep as self-hate, but i definitely see what you mean about his insecurities being exposed even more by Rhaenyra.
