Just a cruel reminder that violinists get so much more attention than good violists..... this is so artfully done. She deserves more views and subscribers.
this is by far the best recording of this piece on youtube. all the other ones I have seen have lacked a sense of tingly excitement in the more melodic and majestic lines which can make this piece in particular drag and give a lethargic quality. Thank you so much for this beautiful performance!!!
This is really great performance of that beautiful concerto. Her playing is lyrical, delicate and romantically intense, too, when it is needed. Conductor’s accompaniement is also great, precise and collaborative. Bravo!
Wow, youre even better than Yuri Bashmet!!! I am Scottish (half Scottish, that is) and I have never heard of either this piece or Forsyth! I'm glad somebody recorded your concert!
Wish I could play viola as well as you. How do you get the octaves so perfectly in tune (me knowing very well 2 things: she probably won’t see this and that I just need to play slow with a tuner, but not wanting to)
Lol, I’m in high school, not the one I am in, but a different orchestra at my high school was playing Dvorak American quartet, the violas cam in A MEASURE TOO LATE that was awkward for everybody else Edit: spelling

Also a reminder that great violist need small venue with exceptional acoustics.

Thank you for starting the video at the beginning of the piece instead of torturing me with applause and tuning!
Her defasında efsane güzel. Sen bu Dünyaya bir hediyesin.

PRECISE did you not see the concert master considerably ahead of EVERYBODY ELSE on the first two tutti chords it was kinda sad.
My favorite performance of my favorite viola concerto! Absolutely beautiful!!

II Andante un poco sostenuto 11:52

Not the best but happens sometimes, only human after all
It's almost like mistakes happen.
I've been there 😂

She’s an excellent violist and love this interpretation, but feel that the quality of the orchestra takes away from overall performance
Actually the biggest distraction is that she's been coached to "play out" and it's choking her sound.
Amazing🥹…
