I totally agree!! I cannot believe he is the same actor who brilliantly played Lenny Bruce in the talented Mrs. Maisel!! It is a JOY to watch him as Lenny Bruce if anyone out there hasn't had the chance yet! I think he is the best actor out there ... truly. He has the rare ability to only make you see the character he is portraying!
Totally agree. He had everything down, from facial ticks to body language. The only thing the film-makers missed was not giving him blue contact lenses.
Bill and Ted's excellent experience...he was a very convincing Ted Bundy....it was the little things...the laughs, the looks, speaking out of the side of his mouth....even the cadence of his speech... he's doing a bit of Ted in this interview. Remarkable.
Luke Kirby is such a talented actor!!! I love him as Lenny Bruce in The Talented Mrs. Maisel!!! I had no idea it was him though as I was watching the Ted Bundy movie earlier tonight. But I kept saying to myself, wow, this guy is brilliantly portraying him... I had to stop halfway and look up the actors name!!! I was blown away when I realized that of course it Is the one and only, Luke Kirby!! With most actors, you always realize it is the actor first, playing a character second. It is pure talent when an actor truly makes you ONLY see the character they are playing!!! He nailed both roles and I hope to see much more of him in the future!
Watched this movie this guy is an amazingly talented beautifully poised compelling actor. He was too scary too close! The other best Ted Bundy was the guy in the made for TV movie. My favourite so far has to be Kirby
That was an amazing Portrayal, you can clearly see that Luke watched several interviews of Bundy and copied literally all of them in the movie to each situation. Zac Efron portrayal is laughable near Luke.

Luke Kirby is one of the best actors there is. When playing a character based on a real person he becomes the character, doesn’t just do mimicking.
