This is terrible.
*RING*
This isn't that bad.
*RING*
This is actually pretty good.
*RING*
This is probably one of the best short films I've seen and both actors did a great job.
This is exactly how I imagined this script to be played out in cinematography and I am in love with the acting. I don't think I am particularly in love with Luke Kirby, but his acting is quite decent, and Gia Crovatin is doing full justice to Betty with her reactions.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Came here for Luke and got a masterpiece omg💖
Gosh hes gorgeous and dreamy
coming here to watch luke Kirby only..
Me 😂
Exactly
He's so BEAUTIFUL
Okay this was so much better than I was expecting! Pretty brilliant, actually.
Short film is a fantastic medium. This represents an excellent example of the discipline it takes to achieve a such complexity is so little time.
A great testament to Reinisch's talent.
Just read this play and came across this... brilliant work! It does the play so much justice. The acting truly makes it and the cinematography takes the cake.
In no small part due to David Ives, the playwright, personally adapting this screenplay from his own original script.
I keep coming back to rewatch this. I just fall in love w/ it more & more.
HIS EYES HIS EYES HIS EYES HIS EYES OMG OMG OMG OMG LET ME DIEEEEE
Here for Luke in 2023😩😍😍
I first saw this performed when I was in High School... it's amazing how a 1 act play that's over 30 years old still feels so timeless! And this was a really great adaptation for film! Sharp editing!
I’m commenting as a sacrifice to the almighty algorithm gods that have somehow kept this amazing short film from blowing up.
Me too.
BRILLIANTLY done. I've wanted to turn this into a short film since I did it in college, and had never seen anybody do it well, until now! You got many literal LOLs from me! Beautiful work!
Luke. Luke. Luke Kirby forever.
the cuts are perfect, exactly how I imagined it while reading the script and sometimes better!
I came for Luke Kirby, I stay for the script
This man is so very handsome 😳🤩
truly sweet and romantic❤
It was definitely a little bit different than the original play, but great either way. I had to read the play in a chapter of my textbook for a quiz that I had to take. I liked it so much that I ended up finding myself here. Pretty much exactly how I imagined it.
So glad this was turned into a short film! The actors did a great job!
Sure thing is a brilliant short film which explores all the possibilities & different situations also a bit of humor nice work
This is the best version of this I've seen. Well done!
I thoroughly enjoyed this, and I’ve been avoiding watching this for a while (God knows why), now I wanna read the play too!
For anyone who doesn't know, this is a prequel to his latest movie *No Man of God*. If you have a weak stomach you might not want to watch to the end
Hahaha brilliant
This is so great! The director and editor really finessed each moment. And there are soooo many, in rapid fire. Well done. Terrific acting. Beautifully shot. Well-controlled lighting. Great audio. (Oh yeah, and the writing… But that goes without saying. Ives is a genius.) Kudos!
Fascinating. Thanks for sharing!
I loved this!
What an unassuming surprise. I'm glad I hit the button!
what this was amazing
Oh i love this
THIS IS AWESOME!
I liked it! Dreamy LK yess
This is great.
This gives me a mindfuck, and I happen to like it.
omg my friends did this scene for our school caberet and it was great!!
i’m doing this one act and i’m betty! i love the script
Hahhaha that ending every time. Dating feels like when shit comes up.
I saw this play in college and thought it was extremely clever. This short film does an excellent job adapting it.
Well this is better than when I did it in college lol
From someone who detests the current dating scene, while I think it's a cute production, it shows how people can dismiss each other way too quickly if they don't agree on Everything. So you don't read the same books or both like Woody Allen movies...that's really not a dealbreaker. What matters is someone's core values and if they are a good person. Start off with one date where you try to figure that out. You are bound to find commonalities and work through the awkward phases.
Nice!
I was loosing my social competence when I watched this
Cute 🥰
😍😍😍
4:47 oh Pakistan lmao
She looks like a bit Britney
modern/love
Tedious.
That's why every baby is a miracle
any girl that likes Woody Allen movies is a keeper
no credit to David Ives though?
i only scrolled through the comments looking for someone this one
He's on the credits at the end :D
Do i have to buy the script to make video ?
Can someone explain me this
Basically the bell sound resets time whenever the protagonists say anything wrong to end the conversation. Eventually the two fully agree on each and fall in love (I suppose).
It's about chances, timing, and the rarity of finding connection

Who came from T08 hahahahahhaah

Weak.
So AWFUL. But the original play is awful too The only thing that made watching this tolerable was his beautiful eyes.
