- NOIAFT’s Chief Entertainment Critic Giò Crisafulli spoke with Luke Kirby (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) at the 2021 Tribeca Festival premiere of No Man of God.

No Man of God Synopsis: It was a radical new approach to criminal investigations: “profiling.” Through one-on-one discussions with serial offenders, FBI researchers could go much more in-depth. FBI analyst Bill Hagmaier (Elijah Wood), emboldened by this new philosophy, sat down with famed serial killer Ted Bundy (Luke Kirby) for several interviews from 1984-1989 inside Florida State Prison, in hopes of figuring out why Bundy murdered more than 20 victims. What started out as a straightforward informational assignment gradually turned personal for Hagmaier, whose feelings about his charismatic subject grew more complicated with each conversation. Is it possible to empathize with evil?

Best take on Bundy I've ever seen in a film. Great job!
Luke Kirby was mind-blowing with his portrayal of Ted Bundy. There's been very few actors that have impressed me as much as he did.

He's brilliant in this movie and has a great background performance in Percy v Goliath (there's a scene where he is with his mother in hospital and his father comes to see her. He goes pat his father on the shoulder, but doesn't quite touch him. It's such a small thing but so meaningful in the context of the film). Hope to see a lot of this guy in the next few years. A genuine talent

Loved him in Slings & Arrows, first season. He obviously was charismatic and was going places. So happy to see how well his career turned out. He clearly worked hard, is thoughtful, and has an intriguing relationship with the camera. He did capture the raw, animalistic side of Bundy that was visible as he fought for his life in the late '80s. It was like the outer shell "handsome charming Bundy" had been dumped by the side of the road in Bundy's fight for life. And this actor captured that.
