@Gamer Town I'm not a veteran hunter or even above average by any means, along with world being my first MH. Even when I was brand spanking new I think I could count the number of hunts that took 20 minutes + on one hand. I'd say the average was like 10-15 minutes. Again I'm not good at these games, I take hits very frequently in hunts. It's only when Iceborne came out and master rank with it that hunts really got closer to the 20 minute mark. I'd see above average hunters doing world hunts in the length of like 7 minutes. So it's really all about skill and gear. I think people are misremembering times Master Rank vs the base game hunts in duration. So we have to wait until Sunbreak is out to really compare anyways.

the World community will still be active for the next year i assume. especially since Rise is Switch exclusive. you should just beat MH:W and Iceborne. plenty of content and i’m sure you’ll be able to queue for matchmaking no problem. itd be a shame to miss out on World and Iceborne. they’re fantastic.
Honestly think ppl are low key upset this was Switch exclusive so any differences they’ll complain about bc heaven forbid the Switch MHR is on par with MHW, especially in the challenge department. Funny too as now that it’s not exclusive the complaints morphed to “o actually it’s just much faster and intense and not easy” lolol Tbc I’m only referring to some, ie the petty ones that never even played on Switch, criticizing not all. A lot of it no doubt comes to which you played first; this is understandable but something we all must either overcome or not.
I just tried MHR and I felt it was a downgrade from World. It's much more arcadey and cutesy and feels dumbed down. I got to magnamalo without a single faint and defeated him on the first try. Compared to how many times I got my butt handed to me in MHW it was so easy it was boring. The wirebug mechanics and wyvern riding was pretty meh and mostly felt gimicky and the tower defense style rampage quests were just annoying mini games. The only good thing they added was skippable cutscenes.
I hope when they make the last monster hunter game they should have all the monsters, maps, weapons and battle mechanics into one game with a way longer story and that our created character can finally speak for themselves as a finale.🤩🤩🤩
Would be cool if we could change whether our character is right or left handed but at the same time it's never really been an issue in anyway so ehh doesn't really matter to me at least

I would really like to watch one of these videos that’s not full of late game spoilers.. ugh. Why is it so hard to make a video like this without spoiling new monsters and locations ??
Hey! I'm quite interested in buying one of these with friends but currently don't have any monster hunter friends. Which one has the cooler multiplayer?
So, I've played MH since the first one released in the US on ps2. I just got Rise and I see the appeal for new players but so far the additional crap like silk bugs and random buffs from wild life (bugs) and other minor things.....it's just, weird to me. Hopefully I'll warm up to the changes like I did in World but I'm kind of just bleh about it. I enjoyed that you had to work with what you got in the older ones and loved the challenges with it. Hopefully the palamutes don't make the monsters an easy push over.
I played MHGU and it was fine, still wasn't quite into the series, I played World and it grabbed my interest but not for that long, played the demo for this game and I'm in, pre-ordered and I think I'm finally going to enjoy Monster Hunter, love how fluid the combat is and how many options there are while still being a tough game.
were in the gaystation 5 xbox series x s whatever tf its called ERA... and shitendos still stuck in the fuckin past of the ps360 era with its weak ass tech, so to think anything on switch is going to be as good if not better than xbox or gaystation would be foolish. with that said i had a blast with my 95 hours completing every high rank hub mission in less than a week, but i have 1000+ hours in mhw and still have lots of shit to do
All monster hunter is worth it. Rise obviously doesn't have as nice graphics being a switch game, but it has better combat and new mechanics and new monsters.
@Gamer Town well you would be factually wrong, with the addition of silk bind moves it gives each weapon more options and playstyles that's facts. More options is always better that's not up for debate. The monsters in rise are faster too compensate for the wire bug. So that's your opinion, personally the emergency event quests in rise are harder than anything in base world. But yes both world and rise feel much easier with all the QOL. Not sure why this topic was brought up? Trying to find a fault with rise but won't mention world's easy base game, horrible hub system with forced cut scenes making multiplayer horrible and annoying, Smaller roster etc Neither game is perfect but everything I've said is a fact, you didn't make world no need to get upset over it lol.
@Gamer Town bruh the same thing happened with base world everyone got bored, complained it was too easy and came back for iceborne. The same happens with every mh welcome too the franchise.
@Gamer Town you can check steam stats it had a big drop off. You obviously didn't look very hard. Also with rise having the vast majority of it's player base on switch it's impossible too tell. But I can assure you even on oceanic servers which is low pop there's thousands of full lobbies.
When you don't have much to say in a video..say the same thing in different ways... Verticality Traversal Wirebugs... Moving around Going up Hills Going from A to B Moving Transversing the space Rock formations that you need to move past Etc
World is for amazing experience and feel like an actual monster hunter. Rise is for faster paced casual-like monster hunting gameplay. Either way its up to ones preferences.
Why? The whole point of World was to open the franchise up to new players. So many people will be going from World to Rise. Not to mention Rise has adopted a whole boat load of quality of life features from world.
@@pixeljauntvr7774 let me specify then. Stop comparing Rise to world when it comes to graphics! It’s on a switch of course it isn’t gonna look as good as something on the PC, Xbox, and PS4. But now it’s officially announced to be coming to PC so people can’t complain about that anymore. And honestly I know that the move sets are coming from world along with some other qol buffs but I feel like the game is gonna have more of a GU feel once it comes out completely.
Everything about this is a “NahDawg” except the upgraded form of transportation.... this shit should have been a DLC and added difficulty option for MHWORLD... they just wanted more money
Yep, somebody needs to make an animation of monster hunter world player parkouring of a wall while the MHR player webslings in to the attack on titan theme.
“Not much leap forward” is a bold statement. In terms of the map size, it scale back from world to a land size. World feels more like a MMO and Rise is more team base. In terms of gameplay, Rise is leap forward. Wire bug for more flexibility for moving and using in combat. Less animation to perform for non combat stuff like mining, picking things up, carving, etc The weapon tree diagram and ability to roll back upgraded weapon. MH World may have a higher resolution than Rise, but art design / style looks better in Rise. I only clocked in 6 hours.... my hunter name is same as my UA-cam name.
world/iceborne is thousand times better than sunbreak/rise. the massive ecology and the immersive gameplay, and i could name more. while sunbreak/rise looks like a dmc game lol and made everything too easy, rise sunbreak looks like regressed from primitive gens lol
Great, now nobody's gonna come help me defeat the monster that's just annoyingly hard to do alone and cut mission time from 40 minutes to 20 minutes. 4 players is not enough . Good luck soloing everything because the other 3 guys don't want your mission.
MH Rise is the best looking game on Switch but MH World still looks waaay better despite releasing 3 years ago and using an older engine, that's expected considering the technical gap between Switch and PS4. I'll wait for the superior version of MH Rise on PC anyway, 30fps, low resolution and poor online service is unacceptable in 2021.
Finally I respectable comment that doesn't just bash the graphics or the fact that it isn't releasing on other consoles yet. Thank you for actually acknowledging that this game looks amazing on the switch. It looks amazing for being on a very limited console.
Oh look, it's the spoiled PC brat who thinks superiority can be achieved by using graphics as an example to look "cool" in front of his friends. If something is indeed unacceptable (30fps in this case) it may as well not be for anyone. Perhaps fix your sentence again, and use "unacceptable to me" rather than assuming for the entire community.
“More accessible”; aka dumbing the game down for newbs and removing what makes MH a satisfying experience. The whole point of MH is the exploration, the tracking, and the grindfest you go through to get your gear.
i luv em both...u dont have to grind as hard n MHR...as n MHW....& dodging is much easier n MHR...where u can dodge forward & backwards...n MHW...u only back dodge...but nvr forward....especially when using duel blades...& n MHW...ur character is silent...thus not rlly connecting w/em...n MHR...he/she has a rlly great dialogue....thus bein more connected to ur character...MHW has a realistic environment...MHR...is more of colorful environment....

I'd take a pause button over unskipable cutscenes.
You can pause it lol. I’ve paused my cutscenes. Plus if you miss anything. You can watch them anytime. Once you’ve unlocked it.
@@DWS2020 perfect! I'll be all over that game as soon as possible then.
Colours palette looked better on the first time we met this game. Now looks too bright.
Monster Hunter has always been bright. Brighter then this in fact.
I rather have the 4 player only because those lobby’s are annoying either everyone was AKC or not even helping the players who need certain monsters killed. So i’am glad it’s coming back. 👍
Stop comparing rise to world. They are on different consoles, are Made from different Developers and more. Its like comparing a pineapple and an Apple just because they have the word Apple in it and are fruits
They are compared for people like me. Workd was my first experience to MH. This led me to try other titles.vi did not like the other titles but loved world. How it plays compared to world is a selling point for me.
@@Dragoth1337 i don't mean that, imean comparing grafics and stuff like that. My point is that they should stop that

is WORLD still played by people? or is it a dead game? I have world and like 5 hours in it. would Rise be better for the community?
the World community will still be active for the next year i assume. especially since Rise is Switch exclusive. you should just beat MH:W and Iceborne. plenty of content and i’m sure you’ll be able to queue for matchmaking no problem. itd be a shame to miss out on World and Iceborne. they’re fantastic.
@@InvaderG hmmm , but rise and dogs you can ride and spiderman movement

Okay, so don't get me wrong I love MHW, but everything you said make it sound like Rise is better, at least some of these sound VERY appealing.
Honestly think ppl are low key upset this was Switch exclusive so any differences they’ll complain about bc heaven forbid the Switch MHR is on par with MHW, especially in the challenge department.
Funny too as now that it’s not exclusive the complaints morphed to “o actually it’s just much faster and intense and not easy” lolol
Tbc I’m only referring to some, ie the petty ones that never even played on Switch, criticizing not all.
Rise is intended to be faster paced afterall. Although i prefer worldborne.
7:59 "More on this in a bit" Then the video ends... lol
We only wanted to skip MHW cut scenes because of that pathetic handler.
4:39
what, all hunts had a maximum of 4 players, just a different lobby size
i think hes on about things like safijivva and kulve taroth but worded horribly
Hello cousin
I hope when they make the last monster hunter game they should have all the monsters, maps, weapons and battle mechanics into one game with a way longer story and that our created character can finally speak for themselves as a finale.🤩🤩🤩
There is no last Monster Hunter game, the franchise is eternal.
Would be cool if we could change whether our character is right or left handed but at the same time it's never really been an issue in anyway so ehh doesn't really matter to me at least
As someone whos not really into the monster hunter series but has hundreds of hours in World. I could never get into rise because it looks and plays like a mobile port because of switch garbage.
You forgot the separation of village and hub quests.
Next monter hunter you will be able to tame and keep monsters as pet
More like monster tamer
Monster hunter stories exist 3ds and there will be a sequel
I'm really looking forward to monster hunter rise
I would really like to watch one of these videos that’s not full of late game spoilers.. ugh. Why is it so hard to make a video like this without spoiling new monsters and locations ??
Hey! I'm quite interested in buying one of these with friends but currently don't have any monster hunter friends. Which one has the cooler multiplayer?
It really depends. Since im in pc, my friends mostly play mwh:i than rise.
What are your thouhts now? Just bought it in a sell
Monster hunter world is one of the best games ever made!!!
Biggest differences: Now ALL MONSTERS are Alatreons children, even more powerful. Still cant get his stupid wings so i stopped playing World
Whoever did the export of this video i thnk selected the wrong settings as the artifacting is insanely horrible.
This is why I stick to MHFU and MHP3RD for the horrors and intense hunting.
Thanks Hunsterverse for enabling Multiplayer for both amazing games
Am I the only one who hate the Rampage quests? Maybe its fun in Multiplayer but its hell for single players
half of these are the same thing again
Omg hyped. Can't wait for the PC port in early 2022!
Is that a garentee?
@@stefanoandrianopoulos9071 Yes. It’s on their website

@@stefanoandrianopoulos9071 Sure is; I cancelled my MH Switch preorder when I heard it was confirmed.
@@rhydsnow851 why not get both? :)
Even though i got a PS5 and a Switch i am tending to get Rise instead of World
How is online going to work?
I played MHGU and it was fine, still wasn't quite into the series, I played World and it grabbed my interest but not for that long, played the demo for this game and I'm in, pre-ordered and I think I'm finally going to enjoy Monster Hunter, love how fluid the combat is and how many options there are while still being a tough game.
Pleasee let this be crossplay with pc and other consoles
Or atleast give us some cross progression when the pc version releases
I don't get the sense of comparing them two. They're all made by exactly different devs.
were in the gaystation 5 xbox series x s whatever tf its called ERA... and shitendos still stuck in the fuckin past of the ps360 era with its weak ass tech, so to think anything on switch is going to be as good if not better than xbox or gaystation would be foolish. with that said i had a blast with my 95 hours completing every high rank hub mission in less than a week, but i have 1000+ hours in mhw and still have lots of shit to do
so which is better monster hunter world or monster hunter rise?
That’s completely objective and impossible to answer effectively since the game isn’t even out yet. Just play what YOU like.
I think rise is better
there is no definitive best game its entirely up to what you enjoy more, for example MH4U is my favourite MH game out of all of them
I like world more
If you want the “baby’s first MH game” handholding experience, Rise is better. If you want the real MH experience, World is better.
You had me at "skippable cutscenes"
I'm currently playing through World. It's the only Monster Hunter I've played. It Rise worth it?
All monster hunter is worth it. Rise obviously doesn't have as nice graphics being a switch game, but it has better combat and new mechanics and new monsters.
@Gamer Town true it's subjective. I should say it's smoother and has more variety like GU but better.
Trying to find a fault with rise but won't mention world's easy base game, horrible hub system with forced cut scenes making multiplayer horrible and annoying, Smaller roster etc
Neither game is perfect but everything I've said is a fact, you didn't make world no need to get upset over it lol.
Verticality
Traversal
Wirebugs...
Moving around
Going up
Hills
Going from A to B
Moving
Transversing the space
Rock formations that you need to move past
Etc
Transitioning my axels in 3d space from my current coordinates to the next
No longer switch exlusive guys, pc version will release early 2022
Yeah the port lmao
I would like to try mh, which one should I buy? World or rise
World is for amazing experience and feel like an actual monster hunter.
Rise is for faster paced casual-like monster hunting gameplay. Either way its up to ones preferences.
@@bassmark1301why because no hot or cold drinks? Still have to use antidotes and the like. Rise isn’t casual 😂
If you're new to MH World is a good start
Please stop comparing Rise to world, instead compare it to GU.
How is the communicating?
Did you read script backwards?
I wish Monster hunter world Monster would come to Monster hunter rise

And the BIGGEST difference... no more passive monsters 😭😭

“Not much leap forward” is a bold statement. In terms of the map size, it scale back from world to a land size. World feels more like a MMO and Rise is more team base. In terms of gameplay, Rise is leap forward.
Wire bug for more flexibility for moving and using in combat.
Less animation to perform for non combat stuff like mining, picking things up, carving, etc
The weapon tree diagram and ability to roll back upgraded weapon.
MH World may have a higher resolution than Rise, but art design / style looks better in Rise.
I only clocked in 6 hours.... my hunter name is same as my UA-cam name.

Screw climate, game is already hard as is
Great, now nobody's gonna come help me defeat the monster that's just annoyingly hard to do alone and cut mission time from 40 minutes to 20 minutes.

It looks amazing for being on a very limited console.
understandable, but the graphics already look very good and 30 fps isnt even bad
The whole point of MH is the exploration, the tracking, and the grindfest you go through to get your gear.
mhfu remastered please, these casuals spiderman versions are goods, but no good as the "main game"
