Congrats man. I haven't played Dead by Daylight since December of 2021 and I haven't felt nearly as angry as I was before. I might go back to it but its just such a toxic game that is horrible for your mental health.

As a Sadako player, _I felt that_
Hate to be that person, but Rin/The Spirit is much more inspired by Kayako from the Grudge than Sadako. The franchises are unrelated, but still fit under that massively popular creepy Japanese ghost woman curse franchises umbrella. Japanese love them some vengeful spirits and urban legends. Thanks. Now I'm ahead of my 'UM, WELL, ACTUALLY' nitpick quota this week.
They kinda are related since they are technically part of the same universe due to the Sadako vs Kayako film which is basically Japanese Freddy vs Jason and I say that in a good way because I unironically love Freddy vs Jason.
@@oxitape1563 the crossover film was set in an alternate universe away from the original franchise's universes, meaning it isn't connected canonically but in that one universe it is if that makes sense. Freddy vs Jason is a different story tho
@@blyat8832 ah ok didn’t know that I just assumed that was the case since Freddy and Jason are in the same universe ever since they revealed Freddy’s glove in Jason goes to hell. That definitely explains the ending since they wouldn’t be able to make more sequels for either movies without them both being tied together figuratively and literally.

@@blyat8832 I don’t think so because I’m pretty sure those are supposed to be knockoff versions of the masks and weapons. If anything Chucky is canon in at least Micheal’s universe because there’s a tv commercial where Micheal and Chucky meet to promote Halloween Kills and the Chucky TV series. Although even if these things didn’t exist I kinda just assume they’re all part of the same universe based on head canon lmao.

Call of brine is supposed to be paired with pop (or dragon's grip or oppression) to make it viable vs bringing ruin undying
Floods of rage is supposed to be used like you use I'm all ears to beat mindgames/ambush survivors if you're in chase and to see where everyone is if you're not in chase
Sadako's perks are more versatile than you give them credit for (tho I agree the third one does only work on new players ala overcharge)
Tape Editing Deck is actually a really good add-on too. Kind of gives survivors an extra objective at the start of the game and if they don't respect it you can get some cheeky early stares.
Calling Call of Brine bad did NOT age well.

Agreed. We have a lot of killers that are all anti loop and no map pressure, a few that are some map pressure and some anti-loop but now we have a killer that's all map pressure and almost no anti-loop.

My biggest problems with her are that she slows down to 3.68 when manifesting... But with no anti loop or speed boost. So you lose distance for using your power. There's very little incentive to grab a tape unless the killer is throwing in order to build your condemnation. I don't think you should be getting morid frequently. But you should need to grab a tape and cleanse your stacks once a game minimum unless the killer is really bad. The fact that survivors can just take away your power for a minute is awful. And lastly... You get a longer cooldown for using your power than you do when a survivor counters it... 60 sec for a tv to turn on when a survivor grabs a tape, 100 sec if you projected to it. If Sadako teleports to a tv while two people are working on a gen, one person can go back to it and just finish the gen without worrying about her projecting to it again. You don't have to worry about condemnation or her pressuring you off the gen, unless she walks herself over to it.

The whole instant-kill mechanic may as well not be there. Survivor at 6 segments? Just pick up a casette and slot it back in, whoopty doo.
I like it, not because you ever get to use it but it gives the survivors something other then gen rushing to do
You don't understand the mechanic. You have to pick it up and bring it to another TV, which would still have you at 3 segments if you're not killed on the way.
My day has gotten exponentially better because of this video

Call of Brine is actually a pretty good Perk if you combine it with Pop.
It's literally Ruin but you have to kick a generator. And it's double the speed of a regressing generator. For 60 seconds. With no cap to how many can be busted at a time.

I enjoy it when killers are released that may not be top teir, but are still fun to play as. Sadako looks really fun from what I’ve seen, and I’m always satisfied with games where I can get at least 1 kill, and pretty much every killer can get at least 1. Of course, if you say that on r/deadbydaylight, you get downvoted to hell, because if a killer can’t get an easy 4 k every game, it’s trash, and you’re wrong for being ok with less
Call Of Brine is actually a disgustingly OP perk. You can proc it on multiple gens at once. It has regression and tracking. It combos with any gen kick perk. It's basically Ruin on demand. Set up a 3 gen with this and it will be a bad time for survivors. As for builds, I found Make Your Choice and Thanataphobia to both be really good on her.
I swear to fuck the amount of film accurate stuff with this character is wild. The fact that they got the missing fingernails detail down from her trying to climb out of the well was pretty faithful, they even got down the big crack down the side of the well just like in the film.

Hi! It's the future. Not only has Sadako not been nerfed, she's been *buffed* from the PTB. Then came what is currently the latest patch, and dare I say it, she's viable now. From 1-2k on a lucky match to almost always a 4k when playing fairly, and a guaranteed 4k when not. Never any reliable way to predict what BHVR will do lol.
EDIT: RIP Spine Chill, you will *NOT* be missed.

I used add-ons that can help speed up condemned and I even use an offering if I'm feeling like making sure players get chased and killed when I feel like. I fucking love The Ring and Onryō is sick with her iconic kill that I remember growing up.

The new Scourge hook is gonna be SOOOOOO fun on Artist. She can take full advantage of any aura reading regardless of position on the map. And it's 7 SECONDS!! With that amount of knowledge I can hit the unhooker with a bird I set up prior to the unhook and track him EXACTLY for the follow up. It won't matter that his crow aura disappeared, I can still see him for the follow up so any jukes he tries can be accounted for! And with the SELECTIVE aura reading I can focus on the rescuer as opposed to the unhooked guy (I love running Severed Hands for more birdage) if I so choose. Cross-map damage has never been easier to accumulate!!

I got 2 curse kills and 1 hook kill , last survivor hatched. Maaaaan they were so mad cause they had 3 gen'd themselves so badly on boneyard. Told me I was trash and also said 3gen vs 2 is wild. Then proceeded to call me a loser. Survivors are real toxic sometimes man
