Just hearing how excited this synthesizer makes Savant is making me happy. LOOK HOW HAPPY HE IS EXPLAINING HOW COOL THIS SHIT IS. I can't wait for him to use that thing in new tracks. With Harmor, Savant is gonna bring himself to a whole nother level.

Aleks Turski I think he's been using harmor since the Overworld album because of his tune quantum mechanics BUT I don't think he dived that deep into it until Orakel in terms of using it in songs he would want to release.

I'm DAW shopping right now. I don't really see where the competition comes anywhere close to this as far as sound design/creation...I also comport with SeamlessR's assessment of NI's "Massive".. I love this Guy's music and conception...Thank you so Mich,Savant for explaining and demoing this SO well...

Fl studio already had everything Ableton is just now coming out with.
Plug in designer like Max4live FLS already had it. Midi to audio, FLS again. Granular synthesis, FLS. I am a huge supporter of that program. Also first entry-pro level DAW (that I know of...) to include pitch correction, for live and studio use....Its just...bad ass...

To all electronic music producers out there, there is a lot of hate and criticism about whether or not we are real musicians or if we're just "conductors" because computers do the work for us. That's like saying a guitarist is not a musician because the guitar is doing all the work for them. Sure loops are a revolutionary tool that make simple sounds into a masterpiece, but there's much more to it than just adding plugins and shitting out beautiful tracks. Like a guitarist, electronic music artists take time to learn their instruments and to create music that we enjoy and love. It took me almost an entire year to reach where I am today and I still have a lot to learn. Savant discovered a very unique instrument here and chose to practice and learn it as well as possible. Sure its easy to want to be a successful big time producer and to dream big, but I believe its best to take one's talent and share it with the edm community instead of trying to make money off of it. DJing is becoming the norm, and really if artists are expecting to make it a fulltime career then they need to have true, unique talent like Savant. My point is, I really enjoy his enthusiasm and excitement because I too was ecstatic about my first synth generator experience :) It was, like he said, "orgasmic" haha! So to all those who make electronic music, don't take crap from people who think there's no talent involved and keep working hard until you can share your music with the world!

This synth blew me away when I was on a pirated version, it's been years since I remembered just how much I love Harmor.
Bought it again yesterday and immediately, effortlessly, and quickly I made things I love and otherwise never would've.
I could talk about it forever, but I'll just say... One of the tracks was just a bass synth and a single harmor patch on the tonal side, the crazy custom brickwall filter + phaser basically wrote the melody from my chords, just had to get the speed/offset right and move it around to form phrases that sound SOOOO groovy and organic, that's what inspired the bass.

This video came out right about when i first started getting into music production. Im hitting the point of deep dive nerd shit now, ten years into my journey where im trying to understand the behind the scenes workings of tools like this. I have to say, despite resynthesis and resampling becoming more mainstream nowadays, tools like harmor are still massively underrated lol

You make me see through all the "standards" that edm artists are always babling about, dissing "simplistic" instruments and software, saying "this is how it needs to be done". I've always been a strong believer in making what sounds cool to ME and not being altered bt "industry standards". You make me feel like i'm actually doing something when i'm experimenting without limitations on sounds that can be made. I'm so glad you share your theories, you changin the game nigga
