    I like his attention to detail and his understanding of what hes doing and why. It really makes such a difference in sound quality to appropriately place notes, instruments, and their levels according to sonic nature instead of just blending things that sound cool together.

    When he showed how he stacked sounds to make leads, you could definitely tell that it was the techniques he used for loads of pendulum's leads.

      more questions regarding technicalities for how he went about making his synths for example, which should of been apart of the organic layering segment but thats just one suggestion
      the video seems more attuned for fans who don't produce which defeats the purpose of an "in the studio"

    He not to let Pendulum, but he and Gareth decided to depart Pendulum for a time to try new things, and so they created Knife Party. But Rob said recently that in 2014 there will be a new album of Pendulum and other of Knife Party. He keep doing the 2 things, but Knife Party it's the first thing now.

    I agree to appoint but would concur that he is definately one of the best in Our generation alongside the likes of Dan stein and Andy C ( i know he is a DJ but we can't take his talent away from that, he is a musician) The Noisia guys and a few others.
    Rob has raised the bar to a height it needed to be set and for that I salute him.

    here's what i think happens: get a tune signed to a major corporate label, and as soon as your pen leaves the page (where you just signed away your soul for some radio promo), you hear this 'whoosh' and poof! a crew of perpetually-creatively-compromised, well-dressed and styled (if they'd just turned 16, that is) sell-outs appear and take you to some underground room full of suits where you can see their tie n collars but not faces and then the suits explicitly describe to you 3 very specific

    You can actually mix the low end frequencies without being distracted/bugged by higher frequencies. Very useful for mixing songs that shall be played on clubs and shit (not exclusively of course...) You can actually hear better what shall happen on a dancefloor

      Johnny Destructoid Thats a stupid comment to make really. Rob and Gareth are some of the most talented people in the industry and have been since the formation of Pendulum. I'm guessing the only reason you're saying KP are talentless is due to the lack of instruments in live performances. At the end of the day, the people creating the music are talented as fuck and have taken KP as an opportunity to create some expertly crafted songs, and other festival bangers that get people bouncing.
