Thanks for watching today and a big hug to you if you share this video with someone!
Love to know what you think of today's video and music. Here's the finished track on streaming! fanlink.to/andrewhuang-wellneverhaveenoughtimetogether
Hmmmm. It was certainly a very *different* dynamic having someone else in front of the camera in your studio. I feel like the way you presented was different when showing the toys to Ryan, versus how you'd present when you're just talking to the camera as if you are the only presenter. I guess the vibe I'm getting is that it's much more casual, kinda like Sonic Boom.
Not sure how I feel about the difference; I'll probably get used to it, though. But the one thing I know for sure is that I love the music!
You should sample nerf guns next. Matchbox cars? Balloons? If I ever get a decent mic, I have a ton of old toys from my kids. This was fun!!
Oh - and Ryan’s a keeper!
I ducking flove it!🦆
Such a dope beat, and brilliant storytelling.
Loved it, even though the panda was very sad! 💔🐼
I absolutely loved the video, and the final result. I thought everyone meshed together well as always and it felt just as nice to watch as all of your other videos.
Hey y'all Ryan here! 🙂Hope you enjoyed the beat we made! Feel free to follow me for more of my own music and behind the scenes stuff 🤘
Hey i know you :D
@@jerm674 I know you too! 😄
Great new format!!!! You two have great chemistry!!!!!! Can’t wait for more!!!!!!!
Sweet chords man, love them ♥️
When you play the Push piano better then I can play the actual piano...
I’m a fan of Ryan. He gives off the intellectual vibes of a Google Engineer, but with audio and sick-ass glasses fashion.
dayum, can't say I've ever been described like that LOL. Thanks hahahaha
Ryan is awesome! Camera team are also very awesome. Additionally, Andrew you are awesome. In conclusion, all people in this video are awesome.
you're awesome 😎
100% can confirm
Okay that discussion about calling stuff in minor as 1 or 6 is super validating, in a bunch of progression-by-ear exercises I keep finding myself going “Thats 1-5-3 not 6-3-1? What?” in the minor section. So it’s nice to have a reminder it’s more about what’s useful to the musician than it is about having one correct way to describe something! (And also that maybe I was “more right” than I thought 😅)
The cool thing about music theory is it’s just theory, then there’s also just music! They can inform one another, but theory isn’t music and music isn’t theory. In chord analysis the same chord can be interpreted by many different names depending on the context, sure some may be a little more “correct” than others, but they’re all valid options. At the end of the day though what you call it matters less than how it feels 🙂 I used to get obsessed with analyzing and having the right answer, now I realize it’s all just relative
We need more Ryan he's brilliant
thank you
Ryan went to school with me, he's a force of nature. Definitely listen to his beats!!
@@AudioHaze aw dude, you're too kind
We need more Andrew he’s brilliant
this might be my favorite genre of Andrew Huang video, Andrew plus buddies makes insanely cool music with new object(s)
Yep this
I loved when you guys were talking music theory measuring scales even though I had no idea what you were talking about
I loved this episode and the song created!! 💞💞💞💞
Beautiful
Hahaha glad you enjoyed it :)
I’m 52 and have been teaching myself music production as a way to deal with depression. I’m in love with lofi and this video has really got me thinking about rhythms. Thanks for an awesome vid! I’ve gotten a lot of inspiration from your work.
There's a Band called "Pato Fu", from Brasil, that made a concert and a live album, using just toys and kid's instruments. Other Band is "apanhador só", also from Brasil.
I spent my teenage years listening to essentially lo-fi with dubstep wubs, and I would adore that under this track
is that weird? i feel like it's only me who would enjoy something like that
Good mix of the details and the heavy low end! That's what I can't get enough of haha
The discussion of the live lofi band reminded me of the Superorganism Tiny Desk, where the different band members all played weird little things along with their instruments, like pouring a cup of water or everyone biting an apple simultaneously
Love this video’s format - great seeing the crew get involved.
That music video with the plushies tho… made this one of my favorite videos of all time
@andrewhuang Please do a little animation series, that vibe man, no talking, just music and sounds... I think your kids will love it too ;)
04:35 is one of the best pogchamp faces i've ever seen
love the song
Love the subtle vocals in the background of the recording as well as the tape degrading effect
Ryan being able to play amazing piano solos with chords on the Push blows my mind
That was an immensely fun creation process to watch happen
the session at the beginning is what i love the most about making music: the unexpected inspiration from sources you wouldnt expect
The cow and that little hammer are effectively whistles; each have a weight that just barely fits inside its container. When you flip the toy, the weight falls slowly, pushing air through a low-frequency whistle. Not too dissimilar from the death whistles from South America.
Love how you basically combine foley with music production!
As much as I love watching Andrew crank out creative ideas by himself, the vibe of this kind of collaboration is so cozy and refreshing. It feels like I’m in the room with you guys as you discover the sounds in real time. Love it!
I love how Moo-Cow is supervising the session.😁
You always amaze me with your ability to find interesting sounds in the weirdest places.
5:18 and apparently it's contagious!🤣
I love this piece! It's always worth tuning into the craziness on your channel.
Ryan is clearly a kindred spirit!
I love these "making music out of random objects" videos. It's really interesting. I would also love to see more "four producers flip the same sample" videos
Thats aa great idea! 4 poducera flip kids toys into a banger. Im down for it!
I'm always so inspired watching these kind of videos. You can honestly make a song out of anything!
This is definitely my favourite andrew huang video
This man does it all! He's taking care of his kids while making music that sounds like heaven! Thank you, Andrew!
the whole thing is so good. thanks for the vibe guys
Ok. It gets better. The cow moving and being sad killed me. Lol😂😊
This was the most stimulating video ever.
This video format is so inspiring. Literally anything around me can make music. You might even say we should Make Music Everywhere 😉
OMG, the sad cow looking out of the window 😭 this one got me man
RYAN ❤❤❤❤ miss you bud! More Ryan!!
Thanks for watching dude! Miss you too :')
Daannngggg. That music video almost made me cry and i don’t even know what happened to him😭😭😭
I so need to use the toys from baby siblings and use it in a song. Thanks for the inspiration Andrew. And welcome to the team Ryan
I had a weird idea today. Maybe you could try it for a video. Idk how feasible it would be for creating music worth listening to, but midi controller clothing. Shirts, pants, underwear, gloves, socks, hats, etc all with different types of biometric sensors. Measuring electrical stuff, temperature stuff, kinetic stuff, anything and everything. Maybe even have the shirt read heart rate and blood pressure among other non invasive methods. Have the hat read different types of brain waves being the ultimate controller. Able to control your synths with your mind. Lol
cow gets real at the end 🙏
Bought Lofi Panda becuase of this video and used it for a Rock band that I produce to make unique stripped down versions of their songs. It was the coolest solution to something unique. Thanks for showing off! Great video and amazing job making the track you made!
Love seeing more people around!
just amazin🤯
What made this video really awesome, is showing how easy it is to grab random things and make music from them, and how easy it is to collaborate with someone on a project.
Thanks a million.
This was... kind of touching :D I like it.
This isn't just lost baby panda. I can hear the baby panda remembering his mother fondly, and realizing that she has taught him how to make it on his own. All of their fun times together has actually been preparation for the real world. That chord progression has a vibe that is like, "do this, because it's what they would have wanted".
Acceptance Stage 🥲
Wow.. just love it!…. Memories comes by, thank you !
Man, watching andrew with the knowledge that he could lose his hearing at some point makes every moment watching him do his music thing that much more special. As time goes on, we might be able to hear how he deals with his hearing loss as a musician, maybe even see him try "Making a track without hearing it" again?
This was so sick and imaginative. I love seeing the team grow and continue to be amazing!
Another awesome video!!!!!
The song turned out really beautiful!
It was so nice to hear you guys get deeper into actual music theory than usual
Not me getting emotional by the cow sketch near the end 🥲
I love this dude... So glad i found this channel
I just love this room setup. So clean
This video is so amazing 😢😢
Loved the personal touch of the video when you have someone on set to interact with😊 more please
such a vibe
I'm inspired 💓
I laughed at the sound of that toy. Love how you can make a sound out of just your own kids toys
I am really tired. And listening to this, I have discovered something today. All I have to do is look up some lo-fi sad jazzy music, and I'll be out like a light. Good to know, thank you. I wonder what kind of dreams I'll have? A sad panda looking for his mother, perhaps?
Its cool so see how the collaboration makes the end result better. Go team!
" Daaaaad! Where are all my toys!?" - Andrew's kids, probably
Andrew Huang, slowly reinventing the gong.
Can I have a T-shirt with that for Christmas? 😇
Ohhh, what a thrill! I just love the musical chill genre of Lo-Fi music and then Andrew Huang makes a video about Lo-Fi! And not just about simple LO-FI, but about a composition in the LO-FI genre, literally made with the sounds of Andrew's children's toys ...
Also a SUPER COOL NEW ADDITION TO THE TEAM! The pianist is really great and knows what he's doing! The sound is amazing and as a musician I'm sure it's great too!
such a calming vibey video. love it.
They say that panda is still looking for its mom, and is still sad
🐼😥
Beautiful! More lofi from Andrew!!
Incredible, and entertaining. So good!
▲ i felt so sad for the little cow during the montage... hang in there buddy! i'm here if you need me 💚
this was so beautiful, love how the video was edited too ❤
omg the little noisemakers! The cow and the hammer shaped one - it's like a little kazoo thing inside a cylindrical chamber. So the air exchange makes it oscillate while it travels through the tube, filtering the sound. I always loved to imitate them!
I enjoyed this! I love your solo on-screen videos, but I enjoy the collaboration a lot also. I see your strategy now: back in the day, TV producers rejected your idea for a TV music production show, so you just got successful enough to make it on your own!
Great work.
Absolutely fantastic video!!!
Welcome Ryan! 🥳
Thanks! Happy to be here :)
I can't stop watching... I watched till the end. ❤❤❤
lo-fi just comes naturally to some people, and Andrew is one of those people.
The moosic video was perfect
on your comment on creating the drum loop yourself. I quite like to recreate music, I have an ability to isolate instruments from a composition, which I then use to reconstruct the song, this then gives me the freedom to alter instruments to see the differences it makes. I tend not to share them due to copyright reasons, but I enjoy just doing it as a sort of mental workout.
I'm definitely with Andrew as far as the relative minor chord being "the 6." I think it's a difference between thinking about theory vs tinkering with notes.
Ryan won me over hard with that piano line
❤ thank you :)
That's simply amazing!!!
Love le puppet theàtre. Cool tune, I'm a big fan of those crumbling rickety lo-fi sounds.
Omg breakcore with kids toys would be sick
god this is one of the coolest songs youve made dude oh my goodness
Beautiful!
cool love the simplicity always😊
this reminded me a lot of some of the stuff off Tennysons Telescope EP.
great stuff!
this is too cute and sad and wholesome and heartwarming 🥲
Great Work ❤ i Love Lofi 💞
I've been binge watching your videos while getting back into producing Lofi the last few weeks. Don't think I've ever purchased something quicker. Cannot wait to make some music this weekend. What an awesome tune you guys made!
your videos always give me hope that i might actually be able to make something despite being super depressed all the time ^w^
Channel your depression. Write about what you’re feeling.
Pretty sure music therapy is legit now. Find the right noises and the rubbish will sweep away! Use those eq filters!
Hahaha Wtf 8:30 ish that was so freaking good.
i now feel like i need a 2 hour music theory video just talking music theory and different ways to pursue/use it xD and also the extra effort for the cow plush story arc, that is top notch
This makes me want to make a song and toy music video with my kid this weekend.
Every time I start knocking on things, I just can't stop sampling them.
Need a full release please 🙏🏼
Such a cute little video. It's adorable. Thank you, guys, guys so much for bringing it to me this Friday night.
Big fan of Ryan. Having a second person is great. Makes the video feel more alive than just you talking to the mic.
fun watching the journey
This was so good!
I love the little plushy skit at the end. Simple and touching.
this would be great to relax or study to.
I’m glad my years of music theory payed off. Was able to understand what they were talking about. 😊
