I had a man “mistake” me and my mother for sisters and hit on us at a gas station even after my mother corrected him and told him to stop. I’ve had men prey on me on my way home from school because they knew what time school let out and what buses we all took. Sometimes they rode the same exact bus as me so I couldn’t avoid them. Men can be completely careless and have zero boundaries. So while we’re in the process of reforming society, I and all my sisters, friends, and my future daughters have to practice safety and discretion. That’s just what it is. When I was a teenager I never wore make up and I feel jealous when I see my younger teen pictures because my face was clear, no acne at all. But now I am grown wearing makeup and face is full of acne and pores. Makeup ages you fast as well.

I agree with Dehja and I also strongly agree with Yvette. Men should control themselves and not be perverts but also a teenager should not be dawning a full face for everyday wear. I'm 22 and am just now feeling comfortable getting into make up. I'm working on my skincare and I have no facial insecurities so I feel ready. Now for men saying younger girls are looking older and older, which is true, then how about this...stay away from girls who look like they're in the cusp of adulthood! If you're in you're twenties, meet girls in arenas of a certain appropriate age limit like college, work, the club, etc...somewhere a damn 16 year old wouldn't be. If you're 30 plus and you keep meeting 16 year olds that you thought were 19-21...well what the hell are you doing looking for girls 19-21 anyway?!

I’ve had open advances made on me since I was a good 12-13 and I didn’t wear fitted clothing or make up, would clearly be in school uniform. So if a mf is sick in the head they’ll pursue regardless. However, even though a woman *should be* allowed to dress and be however she wants and men *should* control themselves, reality is certain clothing warrants *more attention* from men, and are seen as justification by men, so women should dress with discretion. I couldnt even really wear anything with my shoulders out let alone shorts if I'd be walking somewhere alone because men would make open passes at me infront of my mother and step father. As an adult I love makeup but I've been approached without it in baggy pajamas during the middle of winter where I was layered with hoodies at gas stations, grocery stores, the bank, you name it and hit on to the point I was uncomfortable. These men dont care and continue to blame women for their actions if it's not age, its clothes, if it's not that its makeup, you're not single, you're not married, well why are you out alone.... and the list continues. I had a man “mistake” me and my mother for sisters and hit on us at a gas station even after my mother corrected him and told him to stop. I’ve had men prey on me on my way home from school because they knew what time school let out and what buses we all took. Sometimes they rode the same exact bus as me so I couldn’t avoid them. Men can be completely careless and have zero boundaries. So while we’re in the process of reforming society, I and all my sisters, friends, and my future daughters have to practice safety and discretion. That’s just what it is. And for the teens around me, learning to use make up is fine but a full face, lashes, and contour for daily wear is a no no 🤷♀️ TI’s daughter is 17 so she’s on her way out of teenhood but it won’t be appropriate in my eyes for another 4 years.

Your appearance will ALWAYS be the first thing people notice about you and will ALWAYS determine their initial impression regarding your age, ethnicity, socio-economic status, profession, sexuality etc. We judge people daily on how they present themselves to the world so I don't understand why women believe that they are entitled to be excluded from this when we are the worst culprits of it. When I was a teenager I never wore make up and I feel jealous when I see my younger teen pictures because my face was clear, no acne at all. But now I am grown wearing makeup and face is full of acne and pores. Makeup ages you fast as well.

You should have pores. That's normal. But I'd guess it's not necessarily makeups fault for that. Poor hygiene diet or maybe an allergy to something in makeup or a particular makeup product.
Try washing your face with cool water for the pores and a charcoal or black soap for the acne.
