@AngelTheFiend they're still not a jeep and will never be as cool as one. jeeps are very reliable vehicle, just have small issues like literally every other vehicle. you see more jeeps on the road than anything else.
This is a good video to watch. He covers a wide variety of rigs at SEMA and avoids 'hating' on any of them. There is always something good to find in a build, even if it isn't your personal cup of tea and he is really good at highlighting the positive.

My first truck I ever had was a 73 jeep cherokee.with a 360 with headers comp cam 4 in lift kit with a edelbrock intake n 700 cfm edelbrock carb. With 35 in mud tires and 21/2 in exhaust.i loved that beast. It went anywhere.. I wish I still had it So bad!!!!
Thanks for another great video. You were very articulate about the lifted trucks and I share your feelings. I also spent a happy half-hour googling some of the trucks I saw that I liked, and great to catch a glimpse of Marco's rig.

I was originally going to get a Jeep when I found your channel, but I went with a Tacoma and I did like it but I promptly swapped to a 2019 F150 to set it up for Camping/Overlanding. I still watch your channel to see the awesome trips and to get ideas from you. I lit up my entire camper shell and made outer lights from watching you rig up those lights on your other video a while back. Keep up the awesome work.

Brad - Out of all the things I noticed at SEMA, the Go Fast Campers RTT with Rack/Shell (Called the GFC Platform Camper) was my favorite off-road item. That rack is very well built and simple, with nice options for security.

It's a shame you missed mine! - I just got back from driving it 54,000 miles around Africa - I crossed 35 countries over 999 days. The most legit overland vehicle at SEMA, and likely the only one with duct tape on it! It was sitting right outside the entrance to south hall. Let me know if you ever want to do a feature on it. Its true this show is closed to the public, but all the activities and cars in front of our convention center (main parking lot) IS open to the public. Also, the last day of SEMA, all the cars from the show are parked in the gold lot (where the Landmark used to be) (parking lot west of the convention center and across Paradise rd) and open for public view.
Brad I’m glad you gotta check out the forward control. My uncle and me with so many other worked hard to get it there. Maybe we’ll see you on the trail someday

I can't wait for more of these Ranger parts to be put out into the market, because compared to Jeep and Tacoma, there's not much out there at the moment for me to choose from.

There are some real rigs there. Oh, and thanks for your committment to getting good content. You must have stayed up late to get B-roll of the Overland Experience tent without many people around! Would you consider/ are you considering a PCOR tray and/canopy for Amelia the Gladiator? You seem to recognize them as one of the best systems in the overland/touring community.
I think the system is a great all around setup for long expeditions. I never take options off the table, but I'm happy with Amelia's setup for the moment.
I predict SEMA truck scene next year will be all about the new Bronco. and SEMA the following year will be all about what you can stuff an electric motor in.
I totally dig the channel and your content. Just picked up a 2017 SR5 Premium back in April. Slowly kiting it out. I know that you are passionate about Jeeps (what's not to love), not much love for Toyota though. Were they lacking a presence at SEMA?

Agreed, those classic off road builds are amazing, a lot of elbow grease and love went into a few of those, very cool.

There were a few Toyotas at SEMA and I think they are a great platform, I just didn't see anything really new for them at this show.
