Men, I really love the anecdotal story at the beginning of the video. It gave me some perspective on the motivation behind this awesome built. And I can relate. Being a man having a family and not being prepared. 2 thumbs up... If I could.
I like how his goal is to "be able to get out there and help others". When I had my TJ Wrangler, I put tow straps in and hooks, and when big winter storms came in, I went out and pulled people out of the snow. I never took any money. It was the most fun I've had in my Jeep. Like normal people get stuck, not only do I not get stuck, but I can pull you out of the ditch too! :D
Haha I totally get that. I live in a hilly area that rarely gets snow, but when it does, a ton of people get stuck just due to lack of experience in snow. It’s always a great feeling to just cruise around and offer help to anyone who may need it.
I just recently purchased a Jeep and am so excited to Mod. This is one of my favorite channels now!! All the jeep builds, working with your son on his jeep, just warms my heart. This is what jeep life is about and I'm so glad to be a part of such an amazing group of people. It's all I think about now, not hard to catch that bug lol.

I get tired of saying "great video, Brad!" So I won't! OUTSTANDING VIDEO, BRAD! Due to time limits, Ali, could not tell the entire story of being stranded, so I went to the website listed above and was amazed at just how serious and difficult the experience was. Glad he was able to resolve this situation. Was also impressed by the lack of compassion of many of the people who failed to help him or his family members. Happy to see that some Good Samaritans did prevail at the end. As he said, this experience is a teaching moment for all to be prepared for the worst. On the positive side, he got into the off-road world big time. Too bad SEMA does not have a "public day" since I might have had the chance to see KATE in person.

Same thing just happened to me in Mammoth getting stuck in a small about of snow in my lifted PreRunner Tacoma with chains. I literally sold it on 2/9/19 and bought a JK Sport Unlimited the same day!!! My lift is on its way, wheels and 35’s are next, and the the winch and bumper when I can afford it. Thanks for the video guys! After watching it I'll be reaching out to CastleFab about the window box for my 2009 - I've been wanting someone to make this ever since the days of the old expo portal thread on the subject (~2010). I do have a custom need for the shape of the interior part due to my LiFePo4 batteries sitting in rear MPAC racks - hopefully he can work with it or supply it with just the hatch part fully open to the inside. You'll love the Rubicon (I'm lucky to live at the Lake Tahoe end of it) but I would advise you consider pulling awning first - stuff sticking out the sides has a tendency to get bashed or torn off. Cheers! Chris
By the looks of this build, you can't go wrong with CastleFab. I think we might be seeing many of this Hard Box's on some other Jeep here soon. Hope they can help you out.

@@FixBreakRepeat Hey man, we all make mistakes and hopefully learn from them. The only really bad mistake is the ones you dont learn and grow from. Nice Jeep. Ciao
+Large LA I really like the gear pocket side window. Really clever use of what is essentially dead space that no one uses. It’s not like the driver can se out of it anyway. Although I think I would stuff more recovery and safety related gear in there. At least the first aid kit, a set of snatch straps, a shackle, a winch remote, and a fire extinguisher; then paint it with safety stripes (black and yellow) and put a first aid cross on it. That way, you and your trail mates will know immediately what is in there so they can access what’s inside at a moments notice.
Awesome idea. Haven’t completely dialed in the use of it. At minimum it has an ifak in it which includes a tourniquet, chest seal, neosporin and standard bandages.
Not going to name names but that star cluster on the tailgate just might be a giveaway. ;-) Love your channel, been watching your video's for a while and just subscribed. Thanks.

This guy is so lucky to get sponsered.
macmurfy2jka blessed for sure
Awesome Rig and video!
When there is no budget rig.. awesome build!
Mike G there was a budget...and then i went over it, ask my wife 😶
@@FixBreakRepeat Following your channel, that build is out of the world.
@@FixBreakRepeat I love budgets. I like the whooshing sound they make as I go over them.
EvergreenOldboys ha! 😂
@@FixBreakRepeat probably you don't know (as many stuff were sponsored) but what is the approximate cost of this build?
Awesome setup!!
Not going to name names but that star cluster on the tailgate just might be a giveaway. ;-) Love your channel, been watching your video's for a while and just subscribed. Thanks.
