The B1G is never going to kick anyone out.
Kicking schools out sets BY FAR the most dangerous precedent in the history of CFB. It's not worth it
Ah, yes. The old Nebraska couldn’t possibly get kicked out because we’re Nebraska bit. The arrogance is always entertaining. Purdue is a founding member of the conference and has contributed far more over the past ten years as well as the past 100+ years than Nebraska. The delusion runs so deep in Lincoln.😂
How are the chu-chu-trains football wise?? When was their last natty?
@@turdfurgison149 I LOVE it when Husker fans bring up natty’s from the 90’s! Like I said about delusions run deep in Lincoln. You guys actually think anyone or any recruit today cares about how you won a natty before they were born!😂Your team hasn’t contributed anything to the Big Ten. The Huskers have only been dragging it down. I’m not a Purdue fan btw.☺️
You deflected. Again you talk trash about us, but then when was the last time that Purdue was relevant? I’ll wait
@@turdfurgison149 The point I made in my initial comment that you commented on had nothing to do with that. The facts are the facts. Nebraska is trash. At best, it’s on the same level as Purdue is now. But by all means, tell me more about your irrelevant natties from the 90’s!😂
I doubt Nebraska gets booted, despite not being AAU anymore and despite only appealing to a tiny media market in Nebraska. That being said, Nebby boy disparaged the Terps and Rutgers. Hope he was at last years game at Lincoln vs the Terps. Terp football is gaining steam again. The Terps are in 3rd place in the B1G in overall championships in the B1G since joining, including basketball, baseball, lacrosse and soccer, Rutgers not so much. Purdue ain’t going anywhere. If there was a team being peeked at, it would be Nebraska that only brings corn to the table.
Nebraska's corn is inferior. Go Hawks!
Iowa doesn't have any NC's, where's the beef? GO BIG RED!
that's the most midwestern insult i can imagine 🤣
1. I doubt Miami would parlay their newfound AAU status only to join the Big XII. (No offense).
2. If the Big Ten fails in getting UNC and UVA, then getting FSU, Miami, and Georgia Tech will be a nice consolation if their intention is targeting academics, recruiting, and market size.
3. Clemson's proximity to Athens and Knoxville and the deficiency of games against Georgia and Tennessee, Clemson missing out on the SEC will be a massive missed opportunity.
All of those teams are already in a conference
SEC would take UNC and Virginia. Why? They are looking to expand their footprint in States they don’t have one so far, and prefer flagship schools in such States, and, the Big Ten and SEC know they need to be gentlemanly when taking split offs from the ACC by alternating their priority picks.
😊

Nobody is ever getting kicked out of the Big 10 unless the University commits crimes on a level never seen before.
Penn State came close a few years ago, and is trying to let it fade into the Mist of Time.
Lol, this guy is just a fan speculating like the rest of us. Why does his opinion matter more than anyone else?
grab a camera, bubba. no one's stopping you
trolling NC State.. hahaha. NC State would roll Nebraska
I don’t think so! It would be a good game
Why would Miami want to go to the B12? No reason, except, it being the only option! Miami has more significant CFB history games against Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan and Nebraska. Miami doesn't have that with the current B12 teams!
Yes- this guy with long dead Nebraska arrogance dares to talk down to Purdue. What does he think Nebraska has done recently. NADA.
Miami does have the AAU designation. FSU and Clemson do not.
It’s not that important anymore. FSU is on the verge of getting AAU status. Nebraska doesn’t have AAU status either. You think they are getting the boot.
FSU will within the next 3 - 5 years or sooner because of the new hospital.
One thing seldom discussed is the Big 10 requires certain things to join. ex: Washington did not have a quality media center. They are spending $10m to do so. AAU membership could be FSU’s requirement. Plus do not forget FSU could get 17 votes ( Big 10 schools) for AAU membership.
College football fans who are ultimately paying the bills don’t care about AAU or academics. College Presidents will in the end yield to money and fans desires.
FSU is close. Clemson is not.
Miami has the brightest future of the bunch, most NIL funds, AAU accredited, most fertile recruiting grounds and historically the most recognizable name of any of the ACC schools-- and they’re the ones going to the Big12 😂😂
UNC, UVA, Clemson & FSU are all in the ACC and will be for the foreseeable future.
LOL
@@FSU.Seminoles1 I agree lol
Nope
Yeah until 2026/27
@@jacobennis1472 the GoR runs thru 2036. Try and keep up
How about all these awesome ACC teams you guys love so much just keep playing each other in the same beloved conference? Maybe we’ll call it the ACC, oh wait 🤔 Stop with the clickbait nonsense
Forget the relegation model. Never going to happen. Forget either the B1G or the SEC booting anyone. Laughable. First, both of those conferences will have 100 million plus payouts by 2030 with their Current members. Secondly, there are by laws in place that protect their members. The only hope for 14 schools on the outside wanting in would be that both the B1G and SEC eventually go to 24 member conferences.
The most logical movements:
1: SEC: Clemson UNC, UVA and KU ( unless “Wolfpack Backpack” requires NCST > KU.
2: Big 10: FSU & Miami
3: ACC; AFA, CSU, Rice, SDSU, Tulane & USF ( strong academic Conference)
4: Big XII: Louisville & Memphis:
No one in the SEC wants Kansas.
The ACC has already preemptively backfilled.
Missouri wants KU. Plus they excel at basketball 🏀 like UK.
If the ACC loses more then FSU & Clemson the Cal, Stanford & SMU back fill will not be enough.
@@davidbrown386, maybe Missouri wants Kansas in the SEC, who knows, but no one else in the SEC does. But, I highly doubt Missouri wants Kansas.
NC State would roll Nebraska if they played right now
@@Harrison244 NC State does not Schedule Power 4 teams out of conference. They only play teams like Old Dominon and UAB. They are scared to play the big boys.
@@boweevil8390 Tennessee power 4 enough??
@@josephbailey6399 Look at last 10 years. Texas Tech is mid level school. Most years were FCS and G5 schools. Clemson and Florida St have been scheduling 2 SEC opponents each year. You’re not going to be the best until you start playing and beating the best.
serious cope from the husker fan, they are not going to get rid of a founding member of the big ten like Purdue, I am pretty sure there are clauses against that. Nebraska though, it has been utterly unworthy of the big ten. Clemson is a recent addition to big time football only with dabo sweeney, so hold your horses. Miami should go to the big 10
Nah, if they move then should go to the SEC.
Why would Miami leave the ACC to Join the Big 12 ?
If the ACC goes the way of the Pac 12.... Or, when FSU and Clemson (and others) leave, the ACC will be no more valuable to ESPN than the AAC or Sun Belt.
Because Clemson and FSU are leaving the ACC? What will be left of the ACC when they are gone?
@rlhaff3560 Let's assume FSU, Clemson, UNC and Virginia leave. Miami would still prefer to remain with NC State, G Tech, V Tech, Duke, Pitt, BC, Syracuse, Stanford, Cal, Louisville, etc. before going the XII. They could even try to lure in Notre Dame as a full member. No chance Miami joins the flyover conference.
Miami won't leave the ACC for the Big 12 just like West Virginia Kansas won't leave the Big 12 for the ACC it doesn't make sense. But if the ACC falls apart or they don't have a big contract without Florida and Clemson then Miami will go to the big 12 happily.

Nebraska lost its mojo in the Big 10. Great fans, though.
They lost it before going to the big10
Clemson does not belong in the B1G, period!!!
The big 10 arrogance is hilarious they think they will get all the good teams while the sec will be left with scraps not gonna happen
The B1G and the SEC don't necessarily want the same teams. The B1G wants ND. That is all.
The SEC prioritizing UNC/UVA. This is known.
That’s ridiculous. They have a gentleman’s agreement between them on how the priorities work out.
Schools who actually value academics will always favor the Big Ten over the SEC. That would include UNC and UVA
@@d5terps543then their idiots, the Commonwealth is dominated by VT. No matter how many Olympic championships UVa arrogantly yells about.
Fast forward 2 weeks and you now know why you should always look big picture as opposed to one year of success. Miami looks like it has the brightest future of all the ACC schools with the resources to keep it up. Its is also AAU accredited. Right now they would almost certainly be the top choice for the Big10 and SEC. Clemson would probably go SEC and FSU would be a great fit for the Big12
Nebraska was AAU when they joined. They lost it for some medical school location technicality.
3:53 -- Relegation!!! Let's go, LOL. I've been saying for a while that college football needs to break away from the NCAA and start adopting relegation format ala EPL. Worse team in Big Ten gets sent down to the MAC for their cnf champions. Or something along those lines.
It's likely never going to happen with the ways TV deals are currently done. But hey, a guy can dream!
Why would the lower tier B1G members every vote their football programs out of the conference down to the MAC? Face it. The schools in the
Big 12 and ACC drew the sh%t end of the stick by being members of their confrences and are screwed. They need to give up the fantasy of the
SEC and especially the B1G, dumping academic and research giants with huge enrollments and alumni bases, for smaller schools with lower academic standards because .... I don't know...."We play better Football"
It sucks for ACC/Big 12 fans that legacy and institutional relationships mean something in the B1G.
T.v. money is about 15% of total revenue... College football is selling it's soul to buy ESPN /Fox executives a 5th home, second yacht, and farm land in Wyoming...
FSU and Clemson to big 10. Unc, uva, and potentially ncst and vt to SEC. uva, ncst, vt will take smaller shares of sec money.
Miami is not wanted by either conference, unless they actually win 11-12 games and FSU says no to big10.
Fox wants Miami. It could be another USC/UCLA situation where the Big 10 chooses the Trojans and Fox the Bruins. Miami & UCLA are similar:,In fact they share the same weakness. No on campus stadium.
@@davidbrown386 Excuse me! Miami and UCLA aren't the same! No campus stadium is not an issue! What exactly has UCLA won in the last 40 years on a national level! Miami has played for a chance of a national title 12 times since 1983 and won 5 of them! Miami stopped UCLA from playing for a national title in 1998 by beating UCLA in the Orange bowl in the last game of the season. That game was reschedule because of a Hurricane in the beginning of the year in South Florida.
For the 10000th time B10 has no interest in FSU or Clemson. Miami is how the B10 will get the FL market eventually, they don't want the Semias holes for many reasons.
Is it August 15th yet?
B1G should add nd and stanford to get to 20 teams..stanford for 5 west team pod (reduce travel) and grant reasons..nd for the money....
sec should add nc, clemson, fsu and miami to get to 20 teams...because they seem like the remaining name brands.
then you would have a 40 team nfl lite league.
Replace Miami with UVA. UVA/UNC are going together.
@@d5terps543 ACC and PAC scraps could 'merge' with Big XII + UConn (in talks with B12 now) and SDSU (wanted to move up to PAC 12). 32 teams: 7 east/7 south (14 team conference), 9 central/9 pacific (18 team conference).
Now the chances of all that happening - very low. B1G and SEC likely split FSU/Clemson and UNC/UVA. ND really likes being Independent. UConn is quite possible, however I'm not sure SDSU is looking to move up until the dust settles on next big realignment.
Now though imagine if B1G and SEC do split FSU/Clemson and UNC/UVA. B1G doesn't add ND (remains I-FBS) or Stanford (goes to new 'Big Pac'), but gets rid of Maryland and Rutgers who join the ACC. 18 B1G and 18 SEC for their Super League. 16 ACC (with two possible spots for southern teams, say USF and Tulane - yes both technically not Atlantic, but good programs/markets) and 18 'Big Pac'. Any G5 teams could also find a home in this new ACC/Big Pac.
NEB could always go back to the BIG12 to give it some clout. Why should MIAMI (which has no history there) so downgrade?
UNC has an NC ST problem the way UVA had a Virginia Tech problem when the Big East imploded and the ACC expanding. UVA and their state legislature got VT into the ACC.
Odds are NC and DUKE join the B1G, if NC ST is able to find a home in the SEC. The SEC will benefit with a NC market. So .... this move is probable.
I still don't get it what has UNC football done to be one of the hot names in realignment was it the acc title in 1980?
UNC is:
a) 1 of only 2 remaining true southern flagships outside of the SEC.
b) 1 of only 6 P4 original public ivys.
c) 1 of only ~5 men's basketball blues
d) 1 of only 6 that have finished 20x+ Top 10 D-Cup
e) 1 of only 3 that have won the D-Cup
f) Half of the only college basketball rivalry of national interest
UNC is a national brand mainly via basketball. I know, "It's all about football" but with one exception and that's UNC. So, UNC is the pinnacle of college Basketball, one of the finest public academic institutions in the nation, and the premier university in a rapidly growing state that the SEC and BIG TEN desperately want to be in. It's mostly football driving realignment, but mostly means not all. FSU and Clemson check the box for elite football but not really anything else. UNC is not elite in football but checks the elite boxes in every other category. Truthfully, I think FSU and Clemson are the last two purely elite football brands left of value but neither SEC nor BIG TEN are willing to upend the current structure just to land FSU or Clemson. The ACC implodes and the next dominos fall when UNC become available.
UNC isn’t just a national brand. They are an international brand. There are UNC fans all over the world 🤷♂️
@@pjtarheelbasketball yes football not even close I lived in chapel hill in the 2010s to give an example I listen to local sports every morning yet the 1st time I heard the name Mitch trubisky was from mel kiper people in north Carolina don't care about unc football
UNC has a large market and their location is a prime location. I personally wouldn't want them in the B1G because they're not a good football program. The B1G has too many poor football schools as it is. They don't need to add anymore.
Miami to the BXII..... At least they could win a championship 😂😂😂
How many days past Aug 15 is it now? Where was the video saying you and finger in the wind Josh Pate were WRONG, AGAIN. No integrity or honor, no wonder.
Post of the week! Yep!!
Ga Tech will be in the big 10 IF the ACC breaks up my little birdie has said this since the spring this will happen and after TECH beat fsu in Dublin TECH stock just went thru the roof leaving fsu homeless
I’ll be so happy when you’re right about something. Just one time.
lol I asked a guy who covers the big 10 about realignment ….. what were you referring to here?
If we go to 20 teams, we would want Notre Dame, then pick out of Florida State, Clemson, Miami, Utah, Kansas, grab bag.
Uva’s endowment is top 5 for public universities in the country. The money and the connections to that institution is what the Sec and B1G want and Unc brand with Jordan is second to none this is why they will be added first before Clemson and Fsu. Sec and B1G already have the majority of the football money pie so the focus is going to shift to Basketball.
This! The conferences need to start looking at getting rid of their respective leach programs. The SEC has one, the B1G has a few. the ACC and Big 12 could be the home of these teams.
Yeah, even if a conference has a 9 conference game schedule you are talking about playing less than half the conference once you go over 18 teams. At this point you need to trim the fat and get rid of some of the teams that haven't been contenders since the leather helmet era
The SEC has more than one. South Carolina, Mississippi State, Arkansas, Missouri and Vandy bring nothing to the table and really Kentucky as well as far as football but basketball saves them.
@@booster222jc I think our definition of leach programs may be different. I am talking about the schools that put no effort into their sports... again the SEC has one while the B1G has at least three. Mississippi State is good in football 5-10 years. Arkansas has been in a slump for a good long while. Missouri is currently doing pretty well . Vandy brings NOTHING while Kentucky is mediocre. Vanderbilt needs to go while SC and Ark are put on notice IMO.
@@booster222jc Missouri has played in SEC championship twice. Considering the resources compared to bama, LSU etc, I think there doing just fine
Not to mention, if u just stack conferences with great teams, someone has to lose
Clemson and FSU TO Big10 after 2025 ..google tells me soo..
FSU, Clemson, UNC and Virginia are the hot prospects in realignment. Personally I see the B1G and SEC splitting on those four, but we'll see how it works out. They're definitely going to leave the ACC at some point, the question now is when and how, not if...
FSU is working on AAU so I see them and UNC as priorities for the B1G but I don't think that they'll get both. UNC and Virginia are priorities for the SEC as well.
I hope you get what you are asking for
Miami to the B12? If the B12 would get Texas back maybe otherwise I hope the Canes go to the B10 if the ACC folds. Oh yeah and I hope they take FSU with them.
GO BLUE BABY !
Nebraska was AAU accredited when they joined the big10 and lost it a year after joining the big10

with what there actually teaching in the Universities these days, be honest what fans actually give a flying f**k about their aau,??
Another Video made when the creator know NO more than you or I about the future of college football. Just plain Click Bate!
T.V. networks can't go any bigger than 18 teams per conference..most likely scenario is SEC, big 10, ACC and big 12 with 18 teams.. mountain west/PAC 2 merger.. AAC/ conference USA merger by 2028.. there maybe a shift in teams .. like a west Virginia and Texas Am jumping to ACC if FSU jumps to big 10 or Clemson to SEC..
Georgia will play Texas every 4 years… they could have done that anyway
Nebraska was AAU when they joined the B1G
Football fans mentioning UVA as a legit "football" school, destroys every argument of that school going to SEC or BIG... joke of a football program...
UVA was solid in FB under Craig Mendenhall, and has admittedly hit some rough waters, but as a state flagship university with an excellent academic reputation, they can rebound quickly. The reputation of UVA basketball can only help.
Sorry to break it to you, the SEC and B10 want UVA, second to only UNC. It's been that way for years. Expansion is about more than being a playoff contender.
FSU is not going anywhere. They are becoming a 3rd world program. Miami has become a much more attractive brand and Mario is getting them boys rolling. I think youll see UNC and Miami to big 10
From what i see, MIAMI has allied with ND for a coattail to the B1G when/if. UNC has agreed to coattail CLEMSON to the SEC when/if.
MIAMI has been smart. FSU has taken a different path.
The BIG and SEC had made it clear that unless the ACC blows up, they're not adding FSU. So If FSU and Clemson are the only two leaving they may not have a home unless it's the big 12.
When and how did the B1G make it clear that it does not want FSU? That is clear only to Big 12 boosters who are hoping for a miracle with FSU and Clemson. You do realize that both Delany and Petitti have said that AAU membership is NOT required for the B1G.
I still think Notre Dame and Miami were Notre Dame and Stanford goes to Big Ten and that's it for them and then SEC takes FSU and Clemson and then probably Kansas and West Virginia which will be a shocker but they are a better fit for the SEC than any other available team. I look for the Big 12 to backfield with Virginia tech Louisville and a few others and the ACC rule will rebuild around UNC and Virginia. But who knows we're all just guessing. The conferences don't even know until people come available.
Curious... For how long and by how many professionals must it be reported that CLEMSON and FSU are low expansion priorities for the SEC (and B1G)?
@@tarheel7406
If the B1G takes Notre Dame and a plus one such as Stanford or Miami, the SEC will pass on FSU because the Florida market and recruiting pool is safe from the B1G.They would go after UNC and UVA and call it a day.The B1G would be happy staying at 20 until 2030.
@@TheLAGopher I don't see ND joining a 20-team B1G, as it would still have playoff access.
Kansas AND WV as SEC members? 🤣
The SEC isn’t taking WVU. KU may become an issue with the Big 12 GOR. Duke, UNC, UVA, and Clemson are the primary choices for the SEC.
It’s not just about football monies, it’s about the research monies also that dwarf the football payouts. FSU and the sons of Clem don’t fit in the B1G, NC, VA and Miami do. GT also.
The B1G doesn't want to deal with Florida politicians fighting culture wars either. Miami as a private school with AAU standing, doesn't bring the same level of state officials or potential academic issues to the table as FSU. Miami also has a storied rivalry with Notre Dame that could take off
again with B1G exposure.
