UA-cam algorithm sent me here and did not disappoint. Please keep doing what you're doing. Really enjoyed your energy and enthusiasm. Larnell was also in Snarky Puppy for Lingus. He learned the part on the airplane ride over and recorded the next day. Impressive stuff.
Thanks for the kind words! He really is impressive, it’s not the most complex track in terms of rudiments and technical execution, but it’s not got the simplest structure, so it’s amazing he got as close as he did first time. Thanks for watching! Keep an eye out for more!
Larnell is an absolute beast. Lingus introduced me to him, and I was a fan way before I found out he learned that stuff on the plane ride there. It's really cool to hear him working in the metal space, since it's so different than what he usually plays on, but I would have loved to hear him trying something a bit more out there like Opeth instead.
It’s very impressive. He must have had to hold back a fair bit to keep in line with the track since he’s usually so much more expressive. But he nailed it. As if he only listened to it once! Unreal. Thanks for watching!
You should check out Chad Smith doing 30 seconds to Mars song the kill on drumeo he never heard it and doesn't even listen to it all the way through he listens to the first verse with no drum track and just starts playing and kills it
You hear those doubles and triples!😮
love this guys style. Nice vid!
