I just tested the 1300x and i regret not waiting for it and buying the bar 9.1. The detachable surround sound speakers can be used as stand alone Bluetooth speakers. Dope af tbh
When you are playing a simple stereo music track with the Bar 700, and you have the detachable satellites detached and sitting across the room, do they produce any sound? If not, this would be a terrific update for JBL to release in their app, to give the user the option to duplicate the Left and Right channels for stereo music to the detachable rears. How awesome would that be for parties, you could stick one across the room & one pointing outside to the outdoor patio/deck, or you could just have both in their typical rear postions. Please tell me this duplication is already possible since I just ordered the 700 lol
vthey both have virtual atmos, the soundbars upmix sound through hdmi that sounds similar to dolby atmos, a soundbar with the same hdmi connection with actual upfiring has true dolby atmos and sounds more like it
hey gymcaddy, could you look into the Argomtech Rave line up speakers against the jbl partybox speakers? they are really good in my opinion and they are affordable as well as compact. i would love to see you review them.
@@GYMCADDY "Yes," what??? Did you actually read my question? FYI, I actually just reached out to JBL directly, and their tech team said that the detachable satellite speakers on the Bar 700 simply double as additional L & R speakers while attached to the actual soundbar, which is a horrible design choice. When I pressed them on the stupidity of the attached design, including the introduction of comb filtering, they actually agreed and simply said, "That's why we recommend removing them and using them as rear speakers." I'm a HUGE JBL fanboy, but that has to be the laziest and dumbest design in a LONG time from JBL, which means that the Bar 500 is a WAY better design... unless Bar 700 owners always and exclusively use those detachable satellite speakers as actual rear speakers, which requires recharging them every 7-10 hours (which I can't imagine anyone ever doing).😱😭
Can you go in depth with the APP? I wanna see how the controls are, esp the EQ. I like JBL but i'm hoping the EQ tweakability isn't as simple are we briefly saw. I wanna be able to adjust or control various specific frequency ranges. Like 30hz, 60hz, 100hz, 150, 250, 500hz etc...

is it?
I thought Atmos kind of required upward firing speakers? Doesn't seem like either of these have upward facing drivers?
Bar 700
does have 2 up firing drivers

How do the satellite speakers function when attached to the soundbar, i.e. the soundbar already has LCR speakers, so Height, reflective Atmos, etc.???
Yes

So what did you think that people used surround speakers for?

Are you going to have anymore of those t-shirts? The headphone one and the headphone with paint spots. I would love to get one of each.
No body bought them. That’s why I made a new design
Do these sound better than a boombox 3?
Different use cases
@@pixelreflectorpro I just want to listen to music and want the highest quality, I don't care about portability.
