- Dawn Hughes, testifying for Amber Heard's legal team in her defamation trial against ex-husband Johnny Depp, was challenged by the actor's lawyers about her diagnosis that Heard suffered from PTSD. The attorney went through a number of tests Hughes conducted and challenged her conclusions.

Here's what we've got so far:
1) Johnny wasn't the only alcoholic and drug abuser. Amber drank 2 bottles of wine a day, and took plenty of drugs as well by her own admission.
2) Amber caught lying about using a specific line of Milani makeup that didn't exist back then to cover her bruises frequently, which was refuted by the company itself.
3) Amber has past DV arrest against her ex, admitted to DV against Johnny, suspicion of DV against her own sister (her sister was discussing it with her friends by the poolside in a video clip), and assaulted her ex-best friend in public. In contrast, Johnny has no history of being violent towards women, and his ex-spouses all speak highly of him.
4) Audio recording of Amber admitting to cutting Johnny's finger in Australia (not allowed in this trial due to technicalities), proving again that her testimony was a lie.
5) Amber's psychologist witness Dawn Hughes lied about Amber having no DV history and was caught out by Johnny's lawyer. Her entire testimony was based on what Amber told her, and not her actually being there.
6) Amber has NO witnesses or evidence (all conveniently random strangers that she doesn't know or deceased people like the bodyguard).
7) DV lawyers analyzing the case said Amber's broken nose is fake and doesn't look like any of the countless injuries they've seen, and it's impossible to cover the swelling and bruising with makeup. Her "busted lip" also looks like she bit it, instead of being split open like it should be.
8) A former FBI and CIA body language expert said Amber shows multiple signs of deception.
9) Amber allegedly got her nose broken, hit multiple times, her scalp and hair ripped off, penetrated by a bottle, dragged over broken glass and got her arms and legs "pretty cut up", then somehow felt safe enough to take sleeping pills with her "attacker" in the same house, woke up the next day and made him coffee, then went to James Corden's show miraculously healed. No marks, no scars, no pictures, no medical report . Hair stylist and makeup people saw no signs of abuse.
10) Multiple witnesses (including 3 cops) saw no signs of abuse.
11) Amber claimed she wanted to leave Johnny, but in all the audio clips she was the one begging him to stay.
12) Amber claimed she always tried to de-escalate, but in audio clips she was always the aggressor preventing him from leaving and taunting him. Her exact words: "You run away every single fight." Sure sounds like what an abuser does.
13) Amber allegedly feared for her life, but bought Johnny a large knife.
14) Amber allegedly hated Johnny's drinking problem and wanted to help him quit, but drank in front of him all the time.
15) Amber was completely different in her 2016 deposition, where she was cold, arrogant and smirking.
16) Amber proven once again as a liar when she went back on her public promise to donate her divorce money to a children's hospital (and the ACLU, but nobody cares about them because they're co-conspirators with her).
17) Pooped on the bed of a person that allegedly made her "fear for her life", blamed the pet, but later admitted it was a practical joke.
18) Amber claimed she did not want money, but demanded 14 million tax free or threatened Johnny with abuse claims.
19) In the UK trial that Johnny lost, the judge had a family member working in the Sun, there was no jury, Amber was taken at her word and not cross-examined, and key witnesses and evidence that would have helped Johnny was not allowed to be presented (eg. cops).
20) Fits Dr Curry's assessment of her multiple mental disorders:
A) Overly dramatic and embellishment - The way he allegedly beat her up was like a scene from the Avengers.
B) Flowery language - "He was the love of my life", "It felt like a warm glow".
C) Lacks actual substance - "He beat me and I thought oh the carpet is dirty. There was mashed potato on the wall and my dog stepped on a bee, but oops I don't remember if I threw the bottle at him."
D) Mimicking - Copied Johnny's outfits every day during trial, as well as Dr Curry's hairstyle.
E) Needy and needs approval - Audio of her refusing to let Johnny leave.
F) Sense of shallowness - Facial expression changes in 0.5s whenever Camille objection stunlocked her.
G) Externalization of blame - Never takes accountability for anything and paints herself as an angel.
H) Deep seated anger and abuse of partners - DV.
I) Manipulation and self-centered - Gaslighting: "Look what you made me do Johnny!"
J) Fear of abandonment - Audio in Australia post finger accident of her crying and afraid that it's over between her and Johnny.
K) Make a lot of accusations when feeling slighted - Threatens with restraining order and abuse claims after Johnny wants to leave her.
L) Makes threats with legal system to keep partner from leaving - Threatens with restraining order and abuse claims after Johnny wants to leave her.

@@becka42 As much as I want Depp to win, if even one juror comes back saying they believe Depp abused Heard in any way he loses. He has a huge hurdle to climb to convince every member he is innocent and that what Heard is saying is lies. I mean yes it's obvious, but the lawyers vet the jurors and agree which ones are there. Since we are at the trial phase, obviously Heards lawyers believe at least one of the them will side with her which is all they need.

Dr. Curry was able to conduct her evaluation without exhibiting bias, but Dr. Hughes exhibits evident bias for her client.
If this expert was not qualified to answer all the questions, why was she hired.

The question was whether AH was performing to the highest ability of her profession despite her PTSD claims, she interpreted it as a question on whether AH was a good actress. She IS the ONLY one supposedly qualified to answer that question.
It is exactly because of this proliferate assumptions and intepretations of hers, with her one sided interviewing of AH and not JD, cherry picking portions of the notes she was reviewing, that her evaluations are of no merit whatsoever ~~
This "expert" is no expert...if your diagnosis is right, true and unbiased, you wouldn't respond in a defensive manner when the testing done is questioned, you will simply explain the process and the result out of it that made you arrived at such conclusions

On a serious note, I’ve already watched other cross-examinations. Cross-examinations are meant to be ‘offensive’ to the opposite party. It is meant to attack on the truth and accuracy of a testimony and that’s why it’s understandable and normal for some witnesses to be defensive or feel pressured when questioned during the proceeding. Just imagine someone actively trying to discredit your testimony especially if it’s the truth, not that I’m saying that Dr Hughes’ testimony is accurate. Your opinion is also valid. At the end of the day it’s up to the witnesses on how they comport themselves. Will they be objective or subjective regarding their cross-examination? 🍵

Its like a doctor telling a jury age killed their patient but ignore all the toxic poisons they administered to the patient that could make result of passing from that.... This woman has burned her reputation for $500 a hour and a open door for any "real" abusers she placed behind bars with honest testimony. Its why Johnny expert interviewed "BOTH" parties to cover the base of "how do you know ma'am " well she asked amber... she performed test on amber... she scaled her medical records reported with the interview she had with amber.... This lady purposefully avoided Johnny purposefully ignored blatant lies... Her only defense is well amber told me thats why...... A professional psychologist.... allowed the word of a random woman with known domestic history ...as a "RELIABLE" source of information that proves she is not blatantly biased under oath with her credibility as a professional on the line for people she will most likely never see again. Even Johnny witness said no amount of money is worth her "blatantly ignoring or omitting details due to her credibility as a expert stems to her literal way of living and providing along with cases she did in the past would be reviewed if shown. I could look the other way if she at minimum interviewed Johnny and made some mental loop hole argument to make ambers claim reasonably factual.... But it screams she knows and refused to bare the guilt of knowing she would be burning a DV victim in broad court with said interview. My firm has seen this so often and she has not gauged the issue of this level yet but I will shine some insight. Her name will be dragged through the mud worst than JD but thats not the bad part.... the worst and most terrible part is she may have opened the door for real abusers to get appeals to vacate charges or sentencing due to clear view public recorded evidence showing the woman has only defended a single man from DV....but thats the kicker the one damn man she defends was to place A WHOLE DIFFERENT MAN IN JAIL HE WAS DATING. meaning she has never been put on a stand to say have you ever helped DV cases where women were convicted from your expert testimony? I will answer that for you. NO all her testimony records are public she has never ever went to bad for a husband or boyfriend and majority of the cases are for men who lost everything financially unlike Johnny so firms defense never approached that question. But now they dont have too.

She answers very differently from Depp’s psychologist who answered immediately and confidently. Whereas Amber’s psychologist had to look to refresh her memory and looked like she had to remember to answer with the opposite of her original evaluation. A psychologist is not that stupid. Plus her answers were less than convincing..definitely paid to skirt the truth and her defensiveness is very telling that she knows there will be hell to pay from Amber if she doesn’t deliver.

Precisely. My ex-gf was an abusive, broken, NPDer. She also had severe DID (disassociative identity disorder), and cut herself often, during her manic episodes. I tried to force her to accept seeking help. But it didn't matter. She was young and pretty, which negates *ALL* other things. I was cajoled, lambasted, attacked, harassed and mocked by anyone I attempted to reach out to, and eventually ghosted/blocked. I am a male, therefore, I am wrong. End of story. Logic is meaningless. Facts are irrelevant. A man is the ONLY possible person to have an illness. Females are ALWAYS victims and can *never* be the abusers. End of story.

As a person diagnosed with PTSD who has faced family, friends, employment, and parenting especially, challenges as a result of that, ongoing Narcissistic abuse, and extremely painful chronic pain... this is incredibly insulting and a mockery. Dawn is an example of why I don't trust medical professionals now. These are peoples' lives and health, but to them it's all about the dollar.
So your diagnosis is correct, but Amber heard isn't... despite you never having met her in person, or seen how she functions in private. Interesting.

This woman has made a career and living out of these kinda situations. We expect more ethical behaviour from such specialists. She's a corrupt individual who has made a living out of giving such bias expert evidence to suit her client's case. I find it odd that this doctor is allowed to testify on information given to her by AMBER ONLY(or Amber's legal team). She had one on ones with Amber but NEVER with Johnny. Now she is giving her testimony from her meetings with Amber and JUST NOTES she reviewed about Johnny.
It absolutely blows my mind, but I do hope the Jury is seeing and thinking what we all are in the comments.

During the cross-examination they did ask her just a little different. Her answer was that she only remembers 1 case in the beginning of her career where she did a case of a same-sex couple, being a man and man relationship.
This implies she never testified in defense for a man against a woman.

in fact most people do have small levels of ptsd... even everyday life especially from childhood and teen years..its a painful process growing physically and mentally and also the repetitive rituals and beliefs forced into our head that we were all forced to do including being corrected and discliplined for nearly every single thing we did wrong since birth...

My statement is that she is dealing with life as we all do and not experiencing something exceptional. I was in a head on collusion on my motorbike and came away with a shattered pelvis and years of physiotherapy and now have anxiety when I drive and ride and get flashbacks when I think about it while driving and spoke to a professional and I was just amazed how I was NOT diagnosed with PTSD and told how hard it is to get such a prognosis as it is only given to extreme cases and it usually cripples said person from having a normal everyday life. Looks to me like Amber is doing more than well given her social status and financial career.

So who cares about any of this, does not at all point to some imaginary abuse by Johnny. I'm only a psychology student and know this stuff. This psychologist is so skewed. Does she have any sympathy for Johnny the actual victim here, and someone who actually has PTSD from his childhood. Or does she just care about the $$$ she got from Amber, which is actually Johnny's money?

So I deal with PTSD or maybe I should say I have dealt with it since 2016. I was in a gruesome accident where I had my leg cut off at work. I’m not an expert but I have experience and knowledge of symptoms. From what I see and have listened to Amber seems to me to be trying to fake having PTSD vs really having dealt with symptoms. She’s is imo a horrible actress in this case. I’ll say this. If she has PTSD then I didn’t have it. I must have had something else.

My sister is a pathological liar. She makes up things I know for sure are not true( because I was there) to others. She would repeat it so much she actually convinced herself it was true. Like how she never beat me and only tried to protect me. She has even said things out of anger to hurt me to people. I didn't find out til people came to me to tell me what she had said. She does it with everyone and now she has no friends and family doesn't want anything to do with her. These types of people are delusional and dangerous. Self destructive is not a term in their vocabulary.
