Thanks for this recipe! I will be trying it out with some lakers we caught. In my smoker though. I like that you don’t rinse with this recipe, the seasoning stays on 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Soy is basiclly salt water, he says in the video. But it easily can be left out of the recipe or replaced with something else

Thanks. Video clip was simple enough but I would avoid the background music or select a softer one. As for the spice mix, my preference is garlic, ginger, soy sauce and small amount of brown sugar, the simpler, the better.

Funny. Can't see what you do with music in your videos, as you haven't created any. Hmmmmmm

The music is fine, it's much calmer and quieter than many cooking videos.

Used your recipe to brine/marinade some Salmon for 24 hours. Smoking in the Traeger for 90 minutes so far. probably going to let it smoke for another 90 minutes, then transfer it to a Dehydrator.

If the only thing I want to use is sea salt garlic and onion powder would that be okay?

Thank you! I’m getting my first dehydrator and I’ve been on the carnivore diet for awhile so wanted as little ingredients as possible. Thanks for your help! 🙂

@@erickahalsey7663 Me too! I was 196 lbs when I started two years ago and now just hit 126 lb. I am happy and am always satisfied with my meals. I found that I frequently felt hungry after meals loaded with carbs and sugar. I am excited to make salmon jerky! yum

As far as drying it yes. We used to air dry it over lines in Alaska. I just tend to like the oven or a temp controlled smoker better. As it activates the fat rendering process just enough to give it that next level deliciousness.
