This has been a great “hunt”. Has been a pleasure to enjoy with you. My dad my uncle and I did the same thing for years in Shenandoah County. Camped near liberty furnace national forest. I think 04 was the last year for all of us and 05 for dad and I. They have both passed now having made it into their 90s. Leaving camp was always bitter sweet. Like you we came back to better hunting grounds after our trip but deer camp was a priceless experience. Like you all it was a once a year thing a couple hours from home. To be honest it’s never been the same since. Once you’ve done it for decades it becomes part of you. I miss it terribly. Can’t thank you enough for taking us along with you. And hopefully our traditions are safe for a few more years at least after the election. God bless you and your extended family.
Great to spend time in the woods with friends. Brings back a lot of fond memories. I really wish there were more younger folks keeping the traditions going. Maybe it seemed like there used to be more when I was one of them. I really enjoy watching all of your videos. Thank you for sharing. I’m still smiling over our election results! Even though here in New York there still a lot of blue, there’s a whole bunch of red! The leading cause of illness in this city is Trump derangement syndrome!!

As I was saying , the liberal government workers, work in DC and live in Virginia. Government has gotten so big that they carry the state. Fairfax County alone pretty much dictates to the rest of the state.
Being raised in north west Michigan, I was taught at a young age to hunt and fish. I have learned quite a bit more about hunting from you in the last week that I wish I knew in my younger years. @@jamesfisher5948 I too love the long bow. Can’t really shoot them anymore due to shoulder injuries. I have shot a dozen or so good bull elk with them. Those were truly the good old days. Thanks for watching and sharing.

Most of the counties go red, but the blue cities swing the state. But this time it was closer, even in New York and California. Virginia was extremely close. But we won!!! God blessed us . A matter of fact I mentioned you and decussed a few things you also had mentioned. I only wish John Alden Knight/iSolunar would be offered for Android. Hopefully will be soon but as of now I check from huntstand which has been fairly close. I have iSolunar on another phone but it's kinda frustrating putting up with 2 phones.

@@JakeGrubb-u7k I love a good cigar. One of life’s great pleasures. Few things are more relaxing than just sitting back and enjoying a fine cigar. As a true southern Appalatchian person, the tobacco crop was of extreme importance to us. It meant survival to us. It put shoes on our feet and food on the table. I grew up loving anything made out of tobacco. I used it all. I liked it all. I used it too much. So I cut it all out except for the occasional cigar. A good cigar is nothing but pure tobacco. It is all of the additives that makers put in it that is harmful. And if course you don’t inhale cigars. You just enjoy them without inhaling.
We’re having an off deer season where I’m at too. We are starting to see some cases of that chronic waste here also. Haven’t heard of any cases of blue tongue thankfully though. Nothing you’ve said is offensive, just plain truth. I’m curious to see how the woke genzers are going to like military life 🤣
I’m 36 and It scares me to death to see the world that my 2 boys will grow up in. I raise them by the Word of God and raise them to be men of God. We have to stand in that gap and defend our families from all this wickedness and teach them right from wrong and to seek Jesus Christ. It changed my view on raising my boys when I realized that every second that I am not teaching them the ways of God, satan and the world are waiting to teach them their ways. One way or the other your children are being influenced by something at all times, for the sake of our next generation that something better be the Word of God.
