Mr Robin is hilarious!! Yall should have more episodes starring him.. I love the way he tells his stories... Love all your content..! keep putting these out.. especially the Haint ones.. lol.
I’m just glad there’s a few good ole boys that enjoy that enjoy these stories like this from these ole timers. Lotta life lessons I’ve learned sitting around listening to my elders.
Yes I have heard of a Haint AND me and Mary Lou are here to tell you something! There are DEFINITELY black panthers in Alabama. In Beaverton just outside of Sulligent we called em Whompas Cats!
@@shanethomas7177 Well when I was in the 4th grade we lived in Beaverton Alabama. To be more exact we lived in a community known as Lost John . (which is a story within itself) Any how one night MaMa heard a baby crying! I was in the 4th grade and the youngest was in the second grade. So she thought maybe I am hearing stuff. So when she heard it again she went to our bedrooms. Well sure enough we were all sound asleep. So she went to the door that was off of the carport! She said when she opened the door she saw the HUGE backend and LONG TAIL of a black animal (that stood between knee and waist high) snake around the corner of the house! I have never known her to lie! I also had a run in with a coyote myself in our backyard at the same house
An ancient black man named Albert Miller lived in a shack near my fathers country store and I would visit with him when he came to buy kerosene for the lanterns that lit his house. This was in the mid sixties. He claimed to have haints in his home. He told me that when he would lay in his bed in the dark of night and hear something running back and forth in the attic he would shout, “HAINT BE GONE!” If the noise quit it had been a haint. If it kept running it was just a rat. Heavy can try Albert’s method the next time around.
How many of y’all knew what a “haint” was before the show?
I didn't know
Ain’t no country boy don’t know and have a Haint story.
Not me
I still don't know
