I've been breaking down my own deer for 5 years now, and being completely self taught, I haven't ever seen a more thorough, informative, and complete deer butchering video. Thank you guys so much!! What an asset to have for future seasons!!! You guys are awesome!!

Best video on breaking down a deer I've ever seen. I will probably never fabricate flat iron steaks but I think I may be able to trim out the tri-tip roasts now. Laying it all out on the table totally cracks the code for me. I commented on the first video to do this with a whitetail and you guys didn't disappoint. Seth is a surgeon with that 6" Victorinox. Trimming silver skin without doing the fish skinning method isn't as easy as he makes it look. If I can be so bold as to make another request, let's see another hunting trip. Keep up the good work, gentleman.

Deer Feast! Dudes this video was incredible, and I can't thank you enough. I've been processing my big game for over a decade now, and this has helped me save time, and grow my overall yield. Again... thanks. Cheers boys.

Seth and Scott, In my 45 years of hunting I've never seen a deer processed by professionals like yourselves, WOW! I now feel like I have done it all wrong over the years, lol. That was impressive to say the least!!! Thank you for such an Amazing viewer experience. "DEER FEAST"👍👍
    What an art form!!!

Food is food and it tastes better when you outwitted a deer and brought it down yourself. Personally I see no issue with hunting just follow proper gun safety and don’t be a dick (drunken shenanigans led to the deer carcass beer incident which I got told about still funny years later).

Be patient with them. Hunting was never enjoyable with my dad when he was seemingly angry because I struggled to gut my first deer or I struggled to be quiet or not fidgety. Getting spoken to like I was dumb was a deterrent.

I've never hunted. I'm nearly 65. I had a "deer steak" cooked over a campfire as a teen. I also vaguely recall a venison stew my mother made from a hindquarter or something. Then, someone gave us some venison sausage. I'm pretty sure there was more pork than Venison there.
Anyway, I'm always fascinated by these guys and their ability to break these down so quickly. Experts for sure. And although I'm sure I'll never take my own deer, I kind of regret not being able to fully appreciate what it, literally, brings to the table.
    Deer feast.

I have never been a "hunter".. my dad taught me the skill of the hunt from turkey to Deer, and I posse his passion. However, the die hard suit up and get you some, skipped me and has landed into my son, and I watch you guys, to help him have a better experience than I did with the taste. I had it once, disliked from jump street, now I understand why. It was in the processing. So thanks, guys, for showing the right way to get the wang/yuck taste out of deer that I experienced. (No wasn't dad's, I just wouldn't eat his because of it) he is gone and left me to teach, so thanks again...

My old man was a butcher for 61 years. He used to say he started cutting in grade school. Your videos remind me of a simpler time in life, he used to take me to work with him up until I was about 14 or 15. I lost interest in it. But I still paid attention as we’re a hunting family. I wish I had of taken the trade, instead of going the carpentry route.

DEER FEAST. Brings back kitchen table memories. I think it might be worth mentioning this can be done without the saw but we wrestle with the whole carcass since I never really got the knack of cutting thru the vertebrae joints with a knife. so our remaining piece was rib cage, plus backbone plus hip bone (and tail). perhaps cutting/breaking a vertebrae could to be a tip on a coming video (dont recall it in past videos that i seen).

Love the videos! They have been incredibly helpful. One thing that would be helpful to me, would be to see what you keep and discard when doing your trimmings. Ammount of sinew, silverskin, fat, trauma area, etc.... that you consider acceptable. Even if just a short video. I'm a first generation hunter so most of what I learn is through watching videos like these and I find myself if fear of ruining my grindings by keeping something I shouldnt!
