I grew up with these great 70's and early 80's songs - I am 50 and I am so proud to have grown up in this era with all of these incredible songs and I too feel so sorry for all of these young kids these days who have no good music to listen to.

I am 64, so I grew up immersed in 60,', 70's, 80's, 90's music I am a classical musician, pianist, who did sing in bands. I have kept up my search for brilliant music, and have two young twin 25 Yr old who , like theur mum, search out good music and listen to my years in music too. I just went to see Nitin Sawney at The Albert Hall London, the level of mudicianship was top leve, world class. Proof , a member of led Zepp in alliance, Gilmore Pink Floyd, too many to mention. He had guest singers from.around the world, Louisiana , Canada, New York, India, endless talent.The trouble is, as a serious musician, you won't be known about, these days through main stream like in our time. They are not main stream any more, a lot of the time, so it's through word of mouth with younger people with top taste, or through social media platforms. 🙌🐾🐾💕🎶

Just saw a comment from Johnny Ev from 3 years ago saying he wished it was longer, but it was in the early days - there was an extra middle section which was ' THINK I'LL GO TO MEXICO, DOWN TO WHERE THE PACE IS KINDA SLOW, THERE'S NO-ONE THAT I KNOW' followed by an extra verse 'IT'S ANOTHER TEQUILA SUNRISE, WONDERIN' IF I'M GROWING WISE, OR TELLING LIES ' They played this back in the very early days, but it never got put onto the album ! I often include it when I play it simply because it is a song that is such a pleasure to play ! Good wishes to you all from Cambridge, England !

I was watching News 12 Brooklyn, when it read on the bottom "Eagles Guitarist Glenn Frey dead at 67". I jumped off my bed and went to the internet to see what happened. What a shocker!!!! Wow! I though 2014 had it's share of shocking celebrity deaths with Joan Rives, Robin Williams, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, etc. We are not even 3 weeks into 2016 and already we lost David Bowie, Glenn, and others. RIP Glenn your music was the soundtrack of my life from my late teens onward. I have "Smugglers Blues" and "Take It Easy" on my iphone. Will always love your songs. With deepest sympathies to all your lived ones and fans. RIP what a sad Tequilla Sunset :(!
