- In Crusader Kings 3, The Papacy rules over all of the Catholic Kingdoms! But what if someone where to take his place? That's when I knew it was time to send in the MOST LEARNED AND ZEALUS ruler in all of CK3: Jarl Haesteinn
I, Koifish, will play as the Viking Norse, and conquer my way down to take over all of Rome and Italy. I also reform the Asatru Norse religion, as well as create the Hybrid culture between Italians and the Norse! The Norse Romans! The hybrid culture is one of my favorite features from the last DLC Royal Court!
I'm also playing with the latest DLC Fate of Iberia!

I did this recently, it was so much fun. I also took the pope's hat in the the siege and it was a sight to behold seeing the Haesteinn Dynasty wearing it for generations.

I started a similiar run yesterday, went for Rome BUT I DID NOT GET THE POPE HAT. Haesteinn is emperor of italy but without fancy italian hat! I'll have to ask paradox what the hell is wrong with my haesteinn.
Where can Haesteinn go from here? Head of Islam? Become the Great Khan? Perhaps chop the heads off every faith and create an atheist Europe? Who knows!
