R&D Fridays! - A sneak peak of us testing out our soon to be released Intellistep stepper drives

Since the launch of CNC3D we have strived to innovate and push the limits of what our machines can do. From contributing to the GRBL code used by thousands of people all over the world, creating our own control software which we provide for free to anyone, and building our own certified Australian Made Nighthawk Controller which can be fitted to almost any CNC machine out there.
Now we’re doing it again!
Introducing the new Intellistep Driver range!
These boards have been custom-designed here in Australia exclusively for CNC3D and will bring our Nighthawk Controller to the next level with onboard TMC2160 Trinamic Drivers allowing greater control, more flexibility and quieter operation.
The Intellistep will be available in 2 form factors - Single or 4-pack with XYZA drivers on the one card.
Input voltages and motor currents are yet to be confirmed as we do more testing for reliability and efficiency.

The eagle-eyed viewers among you might notice that this driver is being controlled by one of our production Nighthawk Scribe boards, keep an eye on our socials for these as we are getting closer and closer to launching 😉
