I have started to watermark my uploads. I realize this takes away from the purity of the content, but it has come to my attention that other users such as "king of Commercials" have been reuploading my content to their channels.
Man I tell you. Even after 35 years listening to and replaying in my mind the closing theme over and over again, hearing that sax player perform NEVER gets old.
This was one of my favourite sitcoms growing up, I wish it was on DVD.
I watched this whole episode today and it was quite entertaining. I didn’t realize they made over 100 episodes between Valerie and the Hogan Family.
I don’t think the show can get released on DVD or any similar video disc because the show has too many different titles that might cause confusion.
@@ewjxn How did you watch it? Is it streaming somewhere?
I watched it on a video tape we have in the archive.
Yes, that would be nice. We should be able to request copies of our favorite shows. Popular and shortlived. I wonder where these are stored?
Miller boyett dominated in the 80s and 90s. So many wonderful shows during my childhood! I wish there was a streaming app with all the shows they created. The popular and short lived ones too! I love Roberta Flicks song in intro!
With their best successes were with ABC (Perfect Strangers, Full House, Family Matters and Step by Step), moderate success being with NBC with Valerie/The Hogan Family being their only successful show to air on that network and mediocre success with CBS since none of their shows that aired on CBS (including former ABC transplants Step by Step and Family Matters and former NBC transplant The Hogan Family) lasted more than a single season. The Family Man and Meego which were their only original shows for CBS never made it past their first seasons and the latter was the first show produced under the then-new Miller-Boyer-Warren banner (with longtime associate Michael G. Warren joining them in 1997).
@@megamanj2004X do u know what happens to these old shows? I'd like to request a DVD be made of a particular show I enjoyed watching as a kid?
A number of them are on Hulu currently.
@@megamanj2004X as in Thomas Miller and William Boyett.
@@CraigMcfly1985 Robert L. Boyett. William Boyett was an actor whom I don't think was related to Bob Boyett, the producer.
1:52 - “The Hogan Family” is a Miller-Boyett Production in association with Lorimar Television and is distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.
The voiceover and Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution logo(s) are only used in syndication.
Nailed it!! 💯💯💯
@@cbsteffen Bateman voiceover yep.
Thank you for downloading the Opening and closing credits of the Hogan family. Brings back great memories. One of my all time favorite shows
Awesome
I used to watch this show as a kid. I wonder where the main cast is now.
imagine if hulk hogan was in this lol
larke tanner
Nightingales only lasted a season.
Failed badly.
Back when there was no idiotic DEI... This was a great period of time for America.
"Step by step, day by day"... hmmmm sounds a lot like another Miller-Boyett intro...
And the fact almost all of MB sitcoms take place in the Chicago suburbs.
@@TildeDixon All of them were shot at the Radford Studio Center, Hollywood, California
starting with The Hogan Family followed by Perfect Strangers, Family Matters,
Full House, Step by Step and Full House: Fuller House. But don't mind me anymore,
a lot of sitcoms were shot on a sound stage in Hollywood to get the look and feel
what they're exactly looking for.
Does anyone know the reason why Valerie left the show?

This is the whitest sitcom intro/outro ever
What is that supposed to mean?
@@musicaltheatergeek79 This entire video is the most caucasian sitcom intro/outro ever
@@kangaroofuno But how do you mean? The theme song was sung by Roberta Flack.
@@musicaltheatergeek79 The theme song was sang by a black singer?
@@kangaroofuno Yes, Roberta Flack is African-American and is perhaps best known for her #1 hit single "Killing Me Softly," which was later remade by the Fugees.
Awesome
